1/2 lb Ground Beef
2 medium-sized Sayote
4 cloves Garlic
1 medium-sized Red Onions
1 Ripe Tomatoes
1 tbsp + 1 tsp Soy sauce (adjust accordingly)
1 tsp White Sugar
1/8 tsp Paprika
1/8 tsp Ground Black pepper
1/4 tsp Salt (adjust to taste)
2 tbsp Water
2 tbsp Canola Oil
**NOTE**
COOKING is all about your taste. Adjust accordingly.

Truly thankful to GOD for SAYOTE (chayote)! My parents maintained it at our humble backyard in Baguio City, Philippines to provide meals for our family with 5 of us studying then: Tried all possible sayote dishes! Name it, we got it: Tortang sayote, sautéed sayote plain, sautéed sayote with Hokkaido sardines, dinengdeng na sayote (Ilocano dish with fermented fish sauce), boiled sayote with bagoong (fermented fish sauce) & kalamansi, pickled sayote, tinola, sautéed sayote tops, monggo with sayote tops, chopsuey (mixed veggies) if other Baguio veggies come cheap, etc.
My 4th brother would joke my mom that one had a heart attack from eating sayote -- for eating sayote during breakfast, lunch and dinner-- lol! (his way of making things light on the financial hardships we /other families went through that we had to depend on sayote for meals!) But truly thankful to God for His provisions through this wonder sayote! (by the way Baguio sayote is the best..sweet & fresh! especially during the rainy season).

Hi Rose, salamat sa pag comment and for watching. Ako rin, before kasi hindi ako marunong. Hindi rin ako kumakain ng sayote noon. Pero sa recipe na ito, halos lahat ako lang kumain. hehehe Mabuti nalang meron dito sa US grocery store kaya palage kong niluluto ito ngayon.
