RIP LEMMY THE LEGEND! I HAD THE GREAT BLESSING TAKEN TO MOTORHEAD WITH backstage and speaking with him at a place I suggested about thungs i n life for an hour . He was a smart good moraled man who is a true LEGEND that spoke with me like a friend ! not unlike he was onstage with no rockstar attitude many musicians can have that are not at the level or near the level of Lemmy. Very admireable IMO and I believe and pray He is in the better Place!!!!!!!! I learned in a brief moment one night that life on earth is short in the realm if time. It is a test for us to be the way we should . Treat others the way we would like to be treated within reason help others when we can and is not too much. It makes you feel good helping someone when you can without hardship and means a lot to those you help. The same as it would for you when helped. Like Offf roading testing a Bronco I had I was asked to help someones friends truck out of a sand bowl in Pismo I said I will if I can and followed the quad to it. I winched his friends full size truck out. Hewas very happy and relieved. I was proud and happy to help knowing how I would feel and how much trouble and or money it could be to get out of that. Even thoughI blost the bead of my tire to bthe rim with low air pressure in the sand . I was lucky to be able to take a easy path slow back to a little trailer rwnted to camp in without it getting messed up and was able to pop it back on the rim holding air with my CO2 tank I takewith on some off road

Back then, that was the only time you heard anything heavy on mainstream radio in the UK. T.V. was a great champion for rock music in the late 70s, early 80s, when everything else was New Romantics and "Shaddapa ya Face" bollocks. Just the sound of his voice takes me back.
If anybody ever starts criticizing Lemmy's lyrical work in a bad way, let him/her listen "Don't let daddy kiss me" and let him/her read the lyrics at the same time and when it's over ask them if there's still any criticism left

Lemmy is great, but I can't stand overstating things just to lavish praise. The lyrics aren't anything groundbreaking. It's basic rock and roll. No need to pretend he's some genius in that sense.
