New Water | Montana Walleye Tour

- The final stop of the Montana Walleye Tour takes Seth and Chester to Tiber Reservoir. With no experience on this body of water, the guys have their work cut out for them. They scramble to find fish big enough to fill their card and learn a lot in the process.

Janis being the guy who gets the shotgun ball rolling at a wedding just scored him a few points in my book. Loving this series.
I’m loving this series. It does a great job highlighting Chet and Seth’s friendship and the good fishing almost seems like a byproduct.
I’m kinda sad this was such a short series. Great all around job! I like the factoids. It was put together really well. Would watch 52 episodes a year of you two!
Agreed!
Watching Chester and Seth struggle through this series just like any of us would has been the most fun I have ever had watching a fishing show since watching the "Walker's Kay Chronicles" as a kid on Saturday mornings.
I hope this series catches on. Chester's phrase alone should land it as a hit. "A busch light and a another busch light" (not while being captain of course)I'd love to fish with him in MN
Great series. My favorite Meat Eater series yet. I hope it gets enough support to do it again next year.
The absolute coolest thing to see people making content and showing the reality that you don't always catch stiff. Sometimes just isn't your day to fish.
I am not much of a fisher person, but watch pretty much 90% of all your youtube content and this is the best fishing show. i love the semi documentary feel about it and it seems more exciting then just watching two guys in a fish shack. Great job and hope you carry this one on in the future. A very satisfied Canadian watcher 😀. Plus enjoy Chester and Seth
I wish they would have Chester and Seth host another series of the fur hat ice tour!
Chet is such a poet "Busch light and uh.. another Busch light"
Love watching the series
Chet and and Seth are not good ambassadors for the hummingbird electronics thou lol
That scene after day 1 over the fre makes the show. Loved it.
Love the fishing episodes !
Man I have loved this series. Would love to see a bass tourney trail with yalls filming styles. Most of the bass pro anglers turn it into a hype-fest or sponsor push deal. Would genuinely love to see you guys work a bass deal with a weekender/bfl series or something of the sort.
This is my goal for this upcoming trail season. Our kayak bass tournament trail starts March 1. My biggest goal (as far as my filming) is just just have fun and for that to translate to the viewers. I think the fun gets lost in so many videos with the obsession on gear, tactics, sponsors, etc etc. This series has been fantastic.
First episode of this Montana walleye tour I was disappointed that it wasn't Steven rinella but that's all changed. These guys are doing great. Hope to see them more in the future.
Loved this series. Hope they do it again next season!!
Good afternoon from Syracuse NY everyone thank you for sharing your adventures
Best series yet and that’s saying something
Great series boys! A great watch without a doubt!! Cheers 🍻
great job and even better - great series!!!!!
What a great series, absolutely loved it. Great fishing buddies, exciting and entertaining to watch your journey throughout the tournament, thanks!
Congratulations guys on your first Walleye season. Good luck and we hope to see many more to come.
Fishing ain't always catching - but a bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work!
Outstanding series…..keep doing walleye tournaments!!!
I like a hike with a purpose too
Really good production values, guys. The graphics showing the lake details was helpful.
Cheers to Seth and Chester! You guys did great! What a fantastic series to watch! Much love, fellas ❤️
Great series guys. Can’t wait for the next one !
Can’t wait to see some new content guys! Great series so far. 👍
love this series. more please!
Love this series! Keep them coming.
Nice job guys. Looking forward to the upcoming year.
Gosh this is nice to watch in the Montana winter. Excited to hit these lakes come summer!
Great series, definitely want to see more. Seth and Chester are great together
Never thought i would but i love this series would love to hear more music in the show by Chester but i hope it comes back again next year or they do another type of tournament🎉🎉❤
Fun series! Well done. Might want to beep that f-bomb at 14:05. The kids noticed it in the background 🤣
Chester and Seth seem like some great people. Love the series!!
Can’t wait to watch have a good day all.
good job guys look forward to next year
Loved this series!
Loved the circuit! Would watch again next year
This series was so fun to watch, quality job. Hope to see more!
this series was great!
Great series fellas! Looking forward to next season!
Love the series and the content guys!! Congrats on the wedding!
Have really liked the series...been taking notes as I'll be moving back to my home state of MT in a couple years after my youngest graduates. Really got into Walleye fishing over the past 5-6 years and looking forward to hitting some of those good MT lakes
eservoirs. Maybe I'll see you boys on the MT Walleye Circuit.
Love this series ! Too bad is so short
Awesome series, great production!
Looking forward to another season. Really enjoyed the friendship and fishing. Really great filming and editing as well.
I ate an edible the other night and came up with an alternate universe where Chester and Seth have become so big they are now the stars of Meateater, they are making demands that is rubbing the other talent wrong causing friction. Seth has a second show where he and his wife fix up old houses like Chip and that lady. Chet just released a triple platinum punk bluegrass album. Meanwhile In Austin TX 2a rival startup outdoors channel is starting with huge investment from ESPN. They have been negotiating behind the scenes with Chet and Seth to be the centerpiece of the channel. Chester and Seth do well , but the new network implodes because the network didn’t have an online presence. This leads to a huge blowout between them and they both go solo. I’m still coming up with the vh1 behind the music that profiles the break up and eventual reunion between them.
thx for the series guys lots of love from a UK fisherman look forward to more fishing adventures :)
I’m from the uk, but love everything meateater. I lived in the states as a kid, and would love to go back!
yeah im lake everyone else, im a bass tourney guy down here in cali , and look forward to watching these videos every week.. Keep em coming.please sirs..
Cannot wait till next season
Love fishing the big water of Lake Elwell! If you can keep the perch and pike off your bait the walleye fishing can be really good
The little Charles Wesley Godwin line from Chester I love it
This series made my mind up... Im never gonna buy a Hummingbird, that's for sure! 🤣
Or a Humminbird
Love the show guys have been meaning to watch since I heard about it on meateater being from northern mn I was curious what kind of walleye fishing Montana even had I love tournament fishing as well keep it up guys 👦
Great series fellas 👍
They do the best awkward turkeys! 🤣 zero hesitation.
Can’t wait for you boys to take Jason up on his offer and head our way on Lake Erie. Come in October if you can..
Ja vi todos os vídeos do meateater 🇧🇷 👍
Like the Luke combs episode of the big show haha you guys gotta fill some more time with hanging out at camp
Locals call it the dead sea. Good content. Enjoyed watching 👍
In deep lakes like that walleye suspend over deep water feeding on Cisco most of the summer. Should of trolled cranks to get on bigger fish. Cisco equals big walleyes
The erosion and runoff on that shoreline must be crazy during a good rain. Probably doesn't take much to muddy that reservoir up.
I was born and raised right here in Billings Montana. I grew up trout fishing all over Montana, having said that I would love to see more warm water, species opportunities, I would love to see nice size, pan, fish, if all the lakes around here.
Further more , I would like to see 11, 12, 13 inch Crappie in all the waters around here, such as Cooney, deadman’s basin, Martinsdale reservoir, Sutherland reservoir, bair reservoir, not only Crappies but 7,8,9 inch bluegills as well in all our waters Montana fish wildlife and parks should work on that project
awesome show as always!!! Can you guys do a gear breakdown either in the comments or at the end of the tour. Think many of us would find it interesting to see your gear choices (rods, reels, line, hooks, baits etc)
This series was filmed months ago
❤
Brotha I’m with you on only liking a hike with a purpose… walking just to walk ain’t for me either lol
That animation of the pole getting taken in tho 😂
Hey, if you guys ever come back up to Chester Montana to Tiber reservoir go west on Tiber to Willow Creek that’s where the walleye like to hang out
Tip for them. Put mega live in landscape position and have it set to down mode. Really works well for trolling or scanning for fish. Not many know that trick
Wallaby Licorice is deadly lol I've never opened a bag & not pounded the entire thing at once
I like the shirts
Hey fellers. Love your series. Neat seeing stuff you talked about last year on the podcast. What’s that black handle on the port side? Underwater camera mount?
Chet, sweet tea is what you meant**
Fun series. Did you get your electronics dialed over the winter?
"Like a busch lite and another busch lite"
Thanks for sharing! No leeches?
Jigging wraps hahahahaha
More of this stuff
Damn it, I wanted to see the ending ceremonies and see where they placed
Next time boys, Next time.
Loved this series but you boys need to make a trip to lake erie you wanna catch real walleye
Is that a chainsaw with a walleye coming out of the end on his shirt? Been seeing it on every ep and I'm not positive yet. XD
I dont know why but I like this series. BTW. you should have a separate battery for your electronics and you should only ground to that battery . Dont use any other common grounds. Do that and your problems should go away.
Did you guys ever do the break in period for that motor? I think you guys said you bought it brand new and I do not remember you saying anything about breaking it in.
Congratulations on your wedding!
Was that a Yanis cameo?
Janis, yes.
Love this show! But…please number your episodes. Hard to figure out which episode is next.
Good job with that sunscreen PSA, Seth. You also don’t wanna get melanoma, which kills someone in the US every 78 minutes! I’m 4 years cancer free, and am now a religious sunscreen user!
18:12 "jiggin wraps", at least you're eating something......
Do the catfish circuit
👍🇧🇷
What pole mount is that for your forward facing sonar
Try out Minnesota tournament trail
You need to be real careful about eatin' cookies on fishing trips these days!
Hearing the guys talking on the podcast I would have thought Montana walleye fishing would be amazing. But looks like it kinda sucks after this series…
What about that hard water???
You always lose the big ones the last brown trout on my local river i lost on fly was at least 4+lbs really big brownie for my river. It was never a 3/4lb trout :)
Put some deck mat on that foot pedal. Bare feet will thank you.
you have to give a walleye time!! Violent hook sets at the bite means lost fish, this is agonizing to watch...
