Epik High always kills it with the lyrics, especially Tablo. He is known for his clever use of wordplay and he actually went to Harvard and got a Bachelors Degree in English literature plus a masters degree in creative writing. This is basically part two to Epik high's Song "Born Hater" which features Beenzino, Verbal Jint, Bobby, B.I and Mino, so i highly recommend you guys to react to that too if you haven't seen it yet.
I am going to see EPIK HIGH in March with my son and daughter. This will be the second time and I can't wait. If their tour comes to your area its well worth it!!
When Tablo at the end says they paved the way for everyone who is paving the way... that is a dig at 2 groups (as far as Epik High goes). 1. When Tablo worked with Suga the younger crowd, and newer fans who don't know Epik HIgh is the reason underground rappers can even become mainstream, acted like Suga was boosting him when it was Tablo working with a young producer he respects and is now friends with and Suga working with a mentor and now friend, and Tablo didn't survive one of the biggest attempts of online organized hate in KPop and 20+ years in the industry to deal with that b.s. 2. certain communities still try to devalue Epik High's contributions to HipHop and bring up TaJinYo (the online group that accused Tablo of faking his Stanford Master's even when Stanford clarified he's an alumni) and act like their YG stuff was not really them when the CEO wouldn't even let Tablo use YG's studios to work on their album because he wanted their sound to 'stay true to Epik High'.
a vast, vast majority of armys always respected epik high and tablo though. other kpop fandoms acted like that line was animosity when we know and respect the actual musicians that influenced bts very much.
@@forg_tful. Unfortunately the majority was Army, but it's a massive fandom with a ton of people who got into KPop through BTS and aren't familiar with Korean HipHop history. While you may respect him and know a few who do, Tablo addressed it on twitter and on podcast. RM and Suga also have explicitly reminded fans that they are friends. I didn't feel the need to say Army for another reason: Redemption Reacts probably perfectly understands the crowd I mean because even in American music there a lot of young HipHop fans who forget or don't know who paved the way in the U.S. Even with Chicken Noodle Soup it was funny to see young fans initially confused why Bianca Bonnie talked about the J-Hope version and not Young B.
CL debuted and rose to fame as a member of the girl group 2NE1 in 2009, which went on to become one of the best-selling girl groups of all-time. As a solo artist, CL made her debut with the single "The Baddest Female" in May 2013 and released the solo track "MTBD" in February 2014 as part of 2NE1's final studio album Crush.
This song never gets old. Epik High are Legends and they said, "put some respek on our name" Epik High just released an album, "Starwberry" The title track is "Catch" ft. Hwasa and they also have a track called "On My Way" with Jackson Wang. No MVs for either yet (not sure if there will be).
Yoooo Epik High!! They have such an amazing discography. You should check out Eternal Sunshine (produced by Suga), Super Rare (with PH-1 and Wonstein), Rain Song (with Colde), and Born Hater (pt 1 of this song) You really can't go wrong though. I also think you all would find both Epik High's story as well as Tablo's story very interesting .
Random thing you'd appreciate: Epik High tries to do a yearly concert series in Korea and their advertising is all movie/drama poster spoofs with the members. When you go to a concert staff usually takes the little stub off, but at Epik High concerts you put it in a box to vote for the movie/drama you want to see. During the concert they'll show a hilarious, low-budget vcr based on the winner and it also decides the songs for one section of the setlist since their discography is so massive. The chaos is really fun because you want to try to get a different winner every day. Plus they have guests you wouldn't expect to just come and do features. And a few years ago people kept saying if you can do the BTS Fire choreo you must be a good dancer so Tablo texted Suga to learn the basics and did part of it at a concert. The concerts are exactly what you want from Epik High.

Props to Curtis for catching that Melon bar.
Jay Park and Zico were both in idol groups by the way. 2PM and Block B respectively.

EPIK HIGH is not an idol group. They're a hiphop/rap group. And yes they're old, around 30-40s
