The biggest thing I learned here is how to actually handle Dragons as a Support. The fact that you admitted that they don't need your damage and instead controlling the vision from where they'd come in was SUPER insightful and I plan to implement that in my games!
i love to see your patience in this game like yes u did tilt sometimes, but in the calmest way possible, and watching u i understand that being support in game is not only supporting fight and smth like that, but also mentally supporting allys because it's really what they need in hard games like that
I really like these more educational videos. Not only are they full of tips that I can apply to all of my support games, but it's helpful for when I want to expand my champion repertoire. I've always wanted to try Rakan, and this definitely makes me feel like I can actually (confidently) choose him in champ select
Hopefully, one day, you will play him. Then, maybe, you can come back and update us all on how it went. Thank you very much for your proper punctuation.
@@2Boios I actually tried him not too long after this video! Got an S- grade on him on my first ever game so I think it's safe to say it went well. He's lots of fun and has made himself a permanent home in my regular champion rotation. (:
@@meekomyachiiap rakan mid with electrocute rocket belt into sorcs than a d- cap is a ton of fun you can pl y for your jungle and team fights and have better wave clear than some mids. W one-shots backlines once you get rocket belt as well
Love educational league content, as it's an extremely vast game to learn. One thing that would help beyond the excellent macro commentary, is to dictate your ability order as you execute combos. This is something Kingstix does extremely well and it's something that teaches how to use a champ in various scenarios while maximizing dps etc. Thanks brother.
I really need to learn the roam timer as support. Thanks to Ioki man, I'm slowly learning how to be a good support. Copying a certain thing he does actually improves my game😂
When you adc is on a back timer and tge midlands opponent is pushed up in lane you can roam if you think their going to be pushed up by the time you get their You can also just leave if you have a pretty independent botkane that can go one v two under when their under their turret.
Pretty sure he put the control ward you mentioned in the pixelbrush at drake right before you asked that, you actually BARELY caught it on cam before checking baron at 21:55
I'm trying to figure out if I should learn Rakan or Bard next for engage/tank. So far I have Senna, Pyke, Lux and Brand in my roster. Would you consider him good for climbing out of Bronze?
let me tell you something Rakan has carried me from iron 3 to bronze 4 I nearly got to bronze 3 and then i had 5 games in a row were we won botlane and all other lanes were destroyed by the enemy team Rakan is amazing and fun and because of his mobility you dont die a lot But he is too much team dependent because he has no dmg So if your team does alright he is great
I peeked plat but don’t play the game anymore and got as high as gold 2 without an adc duo. I only played so Raka, amumu and blitzcrank. It sounds played out but it isn’t, don’t play 5 champs. And I’ll say tbh all 4 of your champs are carry supports so you might climb better as a different role. Just my opinion.
I was a rakan main for a while until I stopped playing about a year and a half ago. I just came back and dont understand why glacial augment Rakan works. Why do you take that over guardian? Is glacial something that is niche and you only take it sometimes or is it the best right now? I'm guessing secondary runes are situational?
i take guardian for safety and as a 1st instinct thing for rakan in (aram and ranked) but glacial would be great for slows in general! also depends on how pokey their initial comp is during champ select but yeah!!! i love rakan ^^ watching this video makes me realize how much i need to roam more cus i just stick to my adc the whole game 😅
Just like the thresh lantern. I come across players that don't know the q-healer puddle. Or if we engage to hard, they don't know that I can dash to them. :(
Ashe have too much ego for someone who don't trust their aim, never listens. VIKTOR got ego boosted by Ioki, unintentionally. i can't even with this J4.
minute 11 - and their bot already have 5 plates down!! No matter how much you can gank with Rakan this doesn't mean you can ONLY do that, which you pretty much did. You say "top is struggleing" - top loses the lane hard but bot had the chance ... Results: Min 12: Xayah (101 cs) -> Ashe (72); Renekton(107 cs) -> Morde(65). Yes your team took herald and 1st tower but practucally they have 2 winning lanes ... I don't like your vid, I doubt this is the optimal play.

It’s so we don’t die
People forget “a jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.” meaning Rakan is the goat of supports
I never knew that was the entire quote, neat

Yes. I like how you teach specifics about each champ, what they are good at, and what good combos are for the champ.

is there a time stamp where he says what runes to use?

This was a great guide especially for a new rakan player like myself! I usually take guardian rather than glacial augment is that just me?

I think he put it in the pixel bunch by drag
When you called for J4 to ward baron, instead, he warded the Dragonside pixel brush in river, setting up the Soraka steal.

I disagree, Raman has insane engage.
He does, but it's locked behind Flash being up typically, OR being a followup
He is bad in wild rift all his skills scale with ap so I only build him dmg
