  • In this video, I explain how to read an empirical journal article, noting that most APA-style research articles are structured with the same six sections: an abstract, an introduction, a method section, a results section, a discussion section, and a section for references. As you'll see, you don't necessarily need to read every word of every article from beginning to end. Sometimes it helps to skip around.
