if darkspore's servers was removed by maxis. im 100% sure spore 2 wont be a thing either. becuase who needs spore 2 if its exactly the same stages? just you can be under water and such. and i think longer things instead of just "ally this" and "kill these"

So basically, the plot actually started in Spore Hero for DS. The full story, is that there is all sorts of planets, and there's more than one hero in actuality. Spore Hero for DS started off as an arena/colisseum beat em' up. The story was that your creature was made in a ship, more so having a closer connection to Darkspore in its lore. And you'd be going around the galaxy doing various mini games, but most importantly, going to arenas, and winning these crystal badges. Well, there were only badges made of the red crystals, blue crystals were specifically for evolution, meaning they can be used by anyone, anywhere, indicating radiation of sorts is involved. Anyways, the badges had the exact same effect, they'd turn creatures crazy. So because space is so infinite, Spore can basically pick up on any planet or setting it wants, so Spore Hero for DS is more so a "Meanwhile, on another planet" sort of deal, whereas Spore Hero for Wii explains more of the origins to the crystals. So essentially, your character in the Wii game, is a God, or an ultimate lifeform capable of endowing rapid metamorphosis with the crystal cocoon it forms, which always scatters bits and pieces of itself. Some people theorize that the inside of the meteors from the original Spore game contain these blue crystals. That they're essential for creating life that can evolve into something sentient. The theory also goes on to say that the hero from Wii is special, because the meteors it travels through are purely made of crystals, but of a much more pristine cut, and a more brilliant blue color, with markings etched into it. The creature in Spore Hero Wii's lore is also said to go through a rebirthing process everytime it goes into this cocoon to stop the bad guy on another planet, further indicating that you are supposed to be the ultimate life form, or one of many, the bad guy of Spore Hero Wii is one of them. This is going on while everyone else in the Spore universe is at war, trading, fighting in arenas, deploying genetically and cybernetically altered soldiers onto alien planets, or trying to find some mythical being called Spode, while the actual Gods have been duking it out across multiple planets, accidentally sowing the seeds of destruction and creation as they make their way across the galaxy. And this, is probably the only coherent plot, I can give to this franchise, but it works.
I have this game and it’s pretty cool that you can unlock a twenty dollar creepy and cute pack for free. (At the beginning of the game the eyes are part of the pack along with the mouth you unlocked.)
I remember playing this game first cause I was a strict console gamer, but now that I played both, there are things I wish were in the wii version, and even a couple unique things I wonder why they didn't add to the pc version, such as the ability to fire spikes at other spore creatures in combat.
This game is only one thing: Mejee's faces! Gee, they should do an entire movie about him, hahaa. Anyways, I think if they improved the story and the combat (that's solid, heavy let's say, if not for some shitty controls scheme), this game could have been a little gem
so flesh out spore's stages, add a fish stage or some sort of choice to be a fish, fix the tribal stage, and fix any other problems. you do not need to add any thing game changing to make a good spore 2.
the saddest part about this game is they forgot what mouth the blue creature had and gave it the wrong one, its suppose to have the fish mouth not the beak.....
