Really good. I'm new to this type of game stuff but know a bit on marketing and psychology. You make so much sense; and some of your insights hit as "(ding, ding, ding) we have a winner!"

Love the comment about recording the way people try to silve the puzzle. In something imagination based like D&D sometimes if my players have a clever enough solution, even if it wasn't the one i had in mind I'll let it work and save my preferred mechanism for another time. But seeing the creativity of people's thought process is definitely a great inspiration for future puzzles.

You're the kind of DM we don't deserve! Way to adapt and not railroad. The best D&D sessions I've had were when a DM let us try a really crazy idea and adapted to work around it!

Hearing you mention the Mr Beast ARG makes me curious how you'd go about improving it. Maybe an idea for a video is commenting on that (or any other particular) ARG but not from a solving mindset like many channels do, but from a "what was good" and "what could've been better" perspective :)

i'll be slowing my life down soon (Just taking on less events so I can stay home and focus on this channel. One of my goals is to do breakdowns/reactions of hunts both real and fake (Parks and Rec is going to be the first one).
I'll definitely breakdown the Beast ARG. I appreciate the insight and ideas!

I've been running murder mystery life action role-playing games with puzzle hunts. My biggest problem has been alcohol, players arriving trashed or becoming so during the game.
Second biggest problem was having people having their own individual puzzle trails. Having people team up has worked much better.

OH i totally agree. Alcohol is SUCH a factor. I love putting players in groups/teams as well. it makes it easier to track everything
