4:30 That was one of the most aggressive "We're done!" I have ever seen Judge Judy give. Family court cases fire her up! Brings back all the frustration and sadness from her time in the family court.
I absolutely LOVE how JJ shut her down after asking “when was the baby born” because the plaintiff was JUST about to try and play Karen with those fake tears!
Actually, CPS helps parents and children together as long as they pass all the requirements. And they are available to help parents in crisis. Example....Mom is having mental health crisis. She feels like she wants to kill them. Like literally drown them in the tub. (That skat happens all the time btw) Who does she call? Maybe police, and the police contact social services.? Or she can call CPS and say I feel like I am a danger to myself and my children. And CPS will come to the rescue. I actually called CPS on myself and asked for help. My daughter was angry that I would not let her go on her senior trip to Italy, because she didn't make the grades and failed to keep our written agreements. She was so angry that she pushed me. Like hard. And I clocked her. Like Hard. I slapped her in the face for the first time in my life. I didn't even know that I was doing it! It was pure actions equal consequences. Just like I was parented.....by very physically abusive. I felt a little bit bad about it. And honestly part of it felt good. But long and short here. I called CPS and I spoke directly to a counselor. Who asked me numerous questions. The biggest one was, "do you feel in control of your anger now". Meanwhile my dramatic daughter was beating her face up. So when she called CPS they already had the story on file and that I could hear her beat herself up. I felt terrible 😔. And I felt supported by CPS . I would rather her give up the kid and protect him, verses killing him because she couldn't cope.
@@eldorado1244 I do sympathize with her though, it's impossible to imagine the hoplessness and shame someone has to feel to call CPS themself... that is if she can still or ever could feel those emotions in the 1st place... but if she can, there is still hope for her.
I am replying here with the possibility in mind that she might read these comments. Because I want her to know that if she does feel the shame and hopelessness I'm imagining, that is proof alone that there is hope for you. Don't suppress those emotions with drugs, those emotions are your soul pleading with you to take accountability for your mistakes so that you will stop making them! YOU ARE WORTHY! YOUR BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN ARE WORTHY!! ASK FOR HELP!
@@moniqueengleman873 Calling CPS is just like calling the police, if you happen to get a bad noodle, you're totally f*cked. I'd imagine whatever the reason was she had to call CPS on herself, couldn't have been that bad since they put the kids back in her custody. That in combination with the fact that she got lucky with whatever caseworker she ended up with. Some caseworkers are either stupid or evil or both, and if you end up with one of those they will look for and sometimes even make up reasons to take children from their parents custody. You got very lucky too, calling CPS on yourself is not smart. Unless someone is neglecting or abusing their kids, but parents like that have no shame and would never take accountability. I admire the intentions you had behind calling CPS on yourself and im so glad you were lucky to find the support you were seeking, BUT you are absolutely 1000% naive for doing so
Something is going on. Looks like benzos and booze, but I am certainly no expert. Slurred speech; underwhelmingly disinterested. Looks like everyone crawled out of bed to fight for money to support their habit.
Love when JJ figures out the case/issue before they even try to keep lying to her. I'd say JJ is correct 98% of the time when she makes her decision before hearing the rest of their nonsense. The other 2% they actually have proof or evidence that they can show her and she's willing to listen to them.
She explained one time on a late night show how the process works, she and her team reviews the complaints and answers beforehand, so she knows what the case is and where she thinks it's going to go and then asks the pertinent questions. She said that there is ALOT of work before hand to both hear and decide the case in under 1 hour and then the editing makes it down to 20 minutes or less. In the new format, we get to see the team she works with, no longer "behind the scenes" as in the former "Judge Judy".
I hope Dad is on his feet now and able to take care of his kids. He would of been better off going into a family shelter with his kids instead of giving them back to her smh
As a former IRS auditor, this is clearly an IRS issue and not the courts. She would have had to file a return by mailing it in and the IRS would have seen that the kids were claimed twice and begun to ask questions needing documents to figure out who the rightful claimant was. The IRS would have sorted it out and if he were found to be the guilty party, the IRS would have billed him for whatever refund amount he already received and given her a refund. Based on this case, she hardly worked, so it would have been hard to prove that she took care of a household. Depending on when she married her now husband, they could have filed jointly to help her boost her chances with the stepdad's income included. But they would have had to be married because a boyfriend isn't allowed to claim their girlfriend's kids for certain credits, but a stepdad could. The grandma could claim them as well on her return but her only having them for 2 months, hurts her chances as well. But the same thing would have applied to her, she would have had to mail her return in as well and let IRS sort things out. Honestly, it sounds like neither party could claim kids, depending on the credits they were trying to get.
She's just a step-grandmother!!!! She obviously is manipulating the daughter-in-law to get her hands on the tax claims. The daughter-in-law looked spaced out during the hearing.

4:30 That was one of the most aggressive "We're done!" I have ever seen Judge Judy give. Family court cases fire her up! Brings back all the frustration and sadness from her time in the family court.
Absolutely love judge Judy ! she has the highest level of morals
Even the mother is slurring when she speaks 🤦🏼♂️ judge Judy knows and sees it and tells it like it is👏🏻
I absolutely LOVE how JJ shut her down after asking “when was the baby born” because the plaintiff was JUST about to try and play Karen with those fake tears!
Once again perfect! I feel so badly for the children in the plaintiff's care! Or lack thereof.
Grandma is on something too...
grandma is either drunk on some prescription meds.
I said the same thing !
@@crrodriguez I was thinking the same thing!! Pills and alcohol
@@crrodriguezthey all look like they do meth
She called CPS on herself...?! Holy sh*t.... How does she even live with herself...
Sara....hopefully not to much longer
Actually, CPS helps parents and children together as long as they pass all the requirements.
And they are available to help parents in crisis.
Example....Mom is having mental health crisis. She feels like she wants to kill them. Like literally drown them in the tub. (That skat happens all the time btw)
Who does she call?
I admire the intentions you had behind calling CPS on yourself and im so glad you were lucky to find the support you were seeking, BUT you are absolutely 1000% naive for doing so
The grandmother is a drunk
Blotchy dehydrated skin, extended abdomen, permanent slurred speech/neurological damage, bloated face and neck...yeah I agree
I was wondering why she was slurring her words. I thought she was on drugs at first
Something is going on. Looks like benzos and booze, but I am certainly no expert. Slurred speech; underwhelmingly disinterested. Looks like everyone crawled out of bed to fight for money to support their habit.
Please get that ten year old back. And the 8 year old
She is in prison for armed robbery currently. I hope the kids are okay.
Love when JJ figures out the case/issue before they even try to keep lying to her.
I'd say JJ is correct 98% of the time when she makes her decision before hearing the rest of their nonsense. The other 2% they actually have proof or evidence that they can show her and she's willing to listen to them.
I love watching her confidently think one thing and watch the flip as she gets the whole picture.
@@creativewriter3887 Oh wow, that explains a lot..lol I had no idea. Thanks. Gotta love JJ
Uh, nope she is always 100% correct on all cases. She hears all of the testimony and is the mediator.
@@creativewriter3887 Because she is a mediator. Not Judging, mediator. They get all the facts together and litigants and mediates.
I hope Dad is on his feet now and able to take care of his kids. He would of been better off going into a family shelter with his kids instead of giving them back to her smh
That final burn is excellent!
Poor kids both parents don’t care about their kids . DISGUSTING Shame on the defendant and plaintiff
'I can't say the same on this side! WE'RE DONE!!!'
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Judge Judy It sad to see a case like this. I hope and pray for both parents but importantly for the two boys.
"Don't shake your head"! Lolololol
So you can’t take care of your kids but want the money you don’t deserve…?
She's just a step-grandmother!!!! She obviously is manipulating the daughter-in-law to get her hands on the tax claims. The daughter-in-law looked spaced out during the hearing.
The way judge Judy advocates for children is the one reason I can never hate her
Oh!!!!! How I love judge Judy! She can see right through the dark!!! She is amazing… I love how she loves children and justice… thank you 🙏 judge Judy for being so inspiring. I want to go back to college and become a lawyer or judge ❤️
I love when Judge Judy end it with "We're done!"
Damn I need a follow up.
I really hope the dad got the children back.
@@50sRockChick the cousin of the boys were in part 1, they said all 3 boys were adopted
she robbed a subway about a year later lmao
@angelinajackson7684 2 boys, I think the baby girl was adopted out too though from the comment you mentioned - I hope they were adopted out together atleast
Judge Judy u are so so right and funny . watching all your videos at home , while m recovering from covid, is so enjoyable and happy to see the people are served right.
Can we send a go fund me to this guy
The grandmother seems high right now.
I love the part when she's had it and says "We're done!" XD
The grandma can’t get any support from her drug addicted son and daughter in law so she going after the dad who actually wants to be in their life! Disgusting!
Hey step grandma how about not going to court slurring your words.
I hope for the kids sake that it all works out. The father seems like a good guy and the kids would be better off with him
We're done!! I freaking love Judge Judy.
I’m sure JJ made a concerned back door call.
Those boys should be with their father, why is the stepmother so involved “oh money”, SHAMEFUL!
The new 'hubby' 0:05
This is terrible. Those poor kids.
JJ waving towards the addicts, "Which I can't say the same on this side!"(visual presence of drugs!) I'm dead😂😂😂😂😂
I would love to know the update on the father and his sons 😢
The step-grandmother sounds drunk.
yes she did.
" We are done!"
Poor kids.. they need a stable household where they are loved & stop being moved around
Judge Judy, America's Grandma! Love it.
Father God, please heal these children of all this trauma and put the brothers back together...... heal the parents of their addictions and create a safe, stable, loving and nurturing home with the dad. Amen.
Pray for these children people.
It's Friday April 22,2022. There isn't anything on here for today and I've already watched every one of the other ones.haha Judge Judy is my hero!!!!
When judge Judy flipped her hand and said THIS SIDE I lost it 😂😂
So sad for these boys. Prayers for all the dear children. I will hug my son tight tonight, just like my wife and I do EVERY night.
Judge Judy: "I cant say the same on this side".
I concur.
This grandma is an addicting too . She slurring badly
I pray these kids are being taken care of and are just being kids 🙏💝
I’m a MBA Grad making 6 figures now. I was sent to a mental health program 5 times as a kid. I had a teacher and family ask for custody for me. The last time I was 15 and my parents didn’t visit me. My mom was getting SSI and when she found out I would be going to Foster care they came back and got me because SSI payments would stop!
I’m sorry to hear your parents weren’t there for you. Thank you for sharing
GROW UP PARENTS!!! GOOD LORD
The mother in law tried to cash in on the kids when she prob knew her son and daughter in law were going drugs at the time. How sad. I love how judge Judy is to the point and swift with her rulings and fair.
Lord I wish someone saw this and helped this single father and he for his children back ❤
Absolutely ridiculous that these children are in state custody instead of being home with they father . Ridiculous
You know what’s sad, neither want the children but want the money they get from them. Sad!
Dad obviously did
I dont think so . Their father seems a nice one unlike the mother
The father wants his kids is what I gathered also
It’s fucking heart breaking
I got the impression that the father wanted them, giving them up to their mother because he got homeless and was now trying to regain custody from CPS.
…..and here we are dying to adopt.
I hope you’re able to find a child.
We're DONE! Love it!
Love when JJ says We're Done!
Judge Judy is the best
That lady is either still doing drugs or she's given a substitute for those drugs. She's not sober.
He was going through a rough financial situation and didn't get any help. He cared for his kids. Why does she get assistance but not him??!!!
Poor children 😢
😢😢😢😢😢terrible to separate two boys no matter what age but 8 and 10 those guys are thick as thieves. Get your kids back dude and stop fucking around!!!
I suspect he's working hard at that.
The moment when the judge mentioned drug parents and the camera focus right on their faces 😂😂😂😂. Priceless
I wanna know why they didnt send the off back to the dad? That mother in law seems to be too involved and wants to wreck everything. Those boys should be with their father
"I cant say the same in THIS side!" its the wave of the hand for me LMFAO
Loved this, excellent call JJ.
These poor kids, seriously, they can't win either way.
