Yes sir it''s pretty exciting. I kinda wish the hornwort would multiply as well so the new babies have hiding spots. Thank you for stopping by brother.
@@FathomAquatics Ya thats what im hoping as more guppies grow in there the happier it will be. My guppy grass died even in my main tank with about 30 cichlids that has been established for a while. plants dont like me. :p
Dear Gabriel: Dealing with aggressive cichlids was fun, for me, for a while. I isolated bullies and their victims, several times; usually, in a 5.5-gallon tank, in my office. Cichlid species include some of the most colorful fish, in the hobby. But, I much prefer aquascaping to breeding fish, and cichlids tend to destroy plants and dig, in the substrate. I see that you’ve added hardscape, to your, large tank. I think this is wise and I'd add more. You have hornwort, with guppies. I purchased a bag, of this species, at my, local, fish club meeting, Sunday. After soaking in alum solution, for two days, most of the needles are falling off. A soak, in alum solution, may destroy the plants, but I’d rather lose them, than infest my tanks, with snails. Thank you for sharing updates, on your terrific, breeding projects. All my best, Sincerely, E. J. Brinegar
I spoke with Tim Hopkins, yesterday. He informed me that pest snails tend to lay eggs on broad leaves, rather than needles. This makes sense, to me, and has been my experience.
Nice fish and lots of fry, thanks for sharing
