Hello colleague, one question, does the internship and rural service count as experience? In my case it was 1 year and after graduating I worked 1 year as a doctor in Chile. I already have the AMC MCQ and the OET approved, should I request the provisional registration and look for work? Or how much more experience should I accumulate? Currently I have a gap of 1 month, but between graduating and finding a job I had a gap of 2 years and 6 months. 🙏

Can I start my first job after amc 1 in australia as a GP with no work experience but only with an internship? It s really frustrating me ..
It is difficult but not impossible, Since you have recency of practice. My suggestion would be to prepare for AMC Part 2 while applying for jobs everywhere
Hello doctor, I have pregraduation internship from Ukraine and provisional registration with Ukrainian medical council, without any experience, will i be getting job after amc 1 ?
They have recently made it compulsory to pass AMC-2 in order to apply for internship positions. Giving both parts and having recency would help in acquiring jobs here. Good luck

@@garryshinna4758 Absolutely! As long as you are a registered doctor where u are doing your internship and they give you a ‘Good standing certificate’ it should be ok!

is it possible to migrate in Australia with a skilled visa as a doctor?
Is it possible to get a job without any experience/internship (just graduated fresh from the medical degree)?
It is definitely difficult to try and beat all the others who have had a minimum of internship but not impossible!
