just a quick note: you can actually dump ISOs to your wiis sd card so if you dont have a thumb drive, you can use your sd card and it should work fine. just a handy tip since it wasnt mentioned
You can also use WiiXplorer to copy and paste certain files from you game disc. You can export and convert the textures in Brawlbox, SZS Explorer, and Wiimm's SZS Tools should work. Then you can edit the textures, replace the texture file, and pack it back into an SZS file. You can put the SZS file into CTGP-R or Riivolution's "My Stuff" folder to replace the files temporarily. You will also need to enable My Stuff in the Wii app that you are using.

Guys if you're struggling with extracting the files from clean rip there is a simple solution! Download any texture on the Internet from tockdom and through that file you can edit the models. This is only for that character however.

Ive been everywhere trying to see if it has been done before and it seems like it hasn't and I really need some help if anyone can point me in the right direction. The only thing I want to do is change the character models if it is even possible. I know this is a Mario kart Wii video but that's what is has come to.
Do I need to join the multiple ISO files for the game to be played on Dolphin? I set up a path to the folder that I made containing the ISO files, and tried launching the game, but an error occurred telling me that certain discs cannot be read. I'm assuming it happened due to the fact that the ISO files weren't joint together. I've seen some people using hjsplit to join them, but it was unable to detect the files in the first place when I tried(it seemed to only detect folders, not files). I'm hoping someone could help me. (FYI I used an SD card instead of USB when copying the game disc. Also the disc I have is a Japanese version.)
I was able to load multi-iso files on my build, but yeah you probably want to merge them then. If you know how to run command prompt that'll probably be the easiest way.
sadly no. the way my stuff works is that when you install a texture it replaces that texture for you so let's say you change the texture for mario then every you play with will also have that mario texture but that's not because of them also having it installed its because you installed that texture to replace your mario now you can upload you textures online so other users can install them but it's not that too much of a difference

Could you review it and tell me if its a virus or something or actually the real CTGP? I'm just getting back into mkwii and I have no idea what anything is when it comes to anything like this. I just follow the steps and hope I don't mess something up.

i tried this, but cleanrip never ripped any iso files, all it gave me were RMCE01 files

On wii u, you can use Riivolution to get CTGP, in case you can't download homebrew (which was the case for me)

I use a wii u so I never used Riivolution or LetterBomb, I used wuphax to inject CTGP Revolution into the Mii Channel.

gba sky garden uses luigi circuit music. you will need to replace luigi circuit music tho

I have that problem a lot, I believe it's due to some incompatibility or the wii just being old. But I never solved the problem :(

custom menus are a little more difficult to find, I would recommend if you see a streamer with a texture you like, just ask them directly.

go back to your pc and see if your cleanrip is put correctly in the apps folder, it's possible there's a folder inside a folder.
