The English translation is really well done! Shout out to the interpreters who did this impressive job!
beautiful classic english, also impacted chinese internet community!
Although the original meaning is not fully expressed, but that's the limitation of translation.
The charm of Chinese culture ! The last bgm is so touching for people who have watched Journey to the West TV Series

"Wu" means understand/realize; "Kong" means empty/nothingness.
So, "Black myth: Understand Nothing" ?
@@WanderingNerd21 Well, 悟空 is actually a Buddhist term, means knowing the cause and consequences of everything, and how things eventually change. Anyone who understands this can be called 悟空.
勘破所有相者,为悟空。
This looks absolutely breathtaking
You are breathtaking!
don't say that word, you'll curse the game to mediocrity
Finally, after a very long time we have an Asia theme game with no japan stuff. Hype!
The environmental detail is just stunning. This game is going to be a Day One purchase without question. Take your time with this masterpiece!
It will disappoint you.
@@Niyet22 doesn't mean it shouldn't be played bro, give it a shot!
@@Niyet22 Nah, don't project your parent's disappointment on you to this game. Thx.
@@sigerlion8608 how old are you? Why do you insult other people when they just have different opinions on a game that isn’t even released
@@krush0905 I'm a reflection of the same age as the person who made that dumbass comment. It's not an opinion if it's founded on NOTHING! Therefore it's dumb and deserves an equally dumb response redirected back at him.

Looks incredible, cant wait to play Monke Souls.
Dark Monke sounds way cooler
@@zero-bo9ys it's also cool :)
Dark Wukong. lol
@@kanataorz9496 Which is kinda close what black myth means tbh
Considering the number of monkes we've seen in the trailers this does seem like a fitting alternative name
if you know a little about the fiction JOURNEY TO THE WEST that called one of the Four Great Classical Novels in China, or BUDDHISM, you will noticed that every scene, every boss, even the buildings and statues all have prototype. it have to say that the team really done a lot of thing. Its amazing!
Journey to the west is a mix of both Buddhism and Taoism, not only just Buddhism.
@@gu3356 yes if I'm not mistaken the 8 Immortals that appear in the story are from Taoist mythology
The immortals in heaven, such as the Jade emperor, are basically Taoism Gods.
It's details like this that make this a epic game in the making

I've been trying to find it out. Sounds insane🔥
10:47, the Chinese is "you see the future, why you dont knee to me", the future means future buddha--Maitreya Buddha, but someone says he is fake Maitreya Buddha, because his eyebrows are yellow, probably he is Yellow Eyebrow Monster in Journey to the west.
You are right.
Buy DLC to continue
Absolutely incredible. Its not often a game makes me feel this excited and impressed!
@Dale Macarena ➊ I'm a fan of the Witchers series and CD Projekt Red but to be honest, Cyberpunk 2077
never made me feel anything or hyped since the beginning. It's an overhyped boring one.
@Dale Macarena ➊ exactly he prolly said this about cyberpunk
Grew up on the stories of Journey to the West, wow this looks amazing, and the 80's Journey to the west theme song at the end.. chills, literal chills. =))
Yeah, for us who watched the old school classic journey to the west show, that song was a nice nostalgic touch.
敢-----问路在何方....
Yeah that song at the end is so nostalgic.
Lol just teared a little thinking that
Well... 2 years expected
Lets give the Chinese the respect they deserve in making their games.
the Buddha at 10:33 is a shapeshifted villian called Yellow Eyebrow King (黄眉大王), the lore says he tried to lure the Monk with a fake Buddha temple. The engravings on both sides says 红尘不到真仙境,静土招提好道场. The white dragon Sun Wukong was fighting was the White Dragon Horse (白龙马). 9:40 is 混世魔王. 10:09 is 黑風怪 (black Wind Monster). 9:51 is 黃風怪 (Yellow Wind Monster). cant tell the rest sorry
已经很厉害啦
我看他们说这个一角龙好像是五爪亢金龙 不是白龙马

不是白龙马
Wasn't Buddha from India? What was he doing in China?
This engine has opened new doors can’t wait to see more games made with unreal 5
That power pole extend move was crazy
The gameplay, the physics, the soundtrack, especially the homage to 1986 Journey To the West had me tearing up. Its like a trip down memory lane to my childhood's favorite show. Definitely looking forward to this !!!

They also used the music from the original 1986 TV series. For some of us who grow up with it, this music hits differently.
Finally some mentioned the score
So many traditional Chinese elements
