@@dappershaves I butchered my face years ago on my cousins D.E. .... I had no business using it at that time ( no idea on proper technique) I started back into it 1.5 years ago with a Henson which is great/mild. I've tried a Mamba, Lupo and settled on a Gamechanger that I picked up for myself. More attention needs to be payed compared to a Henson but it is still a closer and comfortable shave. My skin is pretty sensitive so I've stayed away from more aggressive fare, who knows what the future will hold as I get more shaves under ny belt.
I’m glad you enjoy the Gear Cris and arrived safely👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼.Boreal is my Fav Soap by T&S very nice, maybe trying different blade would change characteristics! Lupo is a great razor and it’s design can’t beat it.. Cheers Alan H
hi chris . being watching a while now. but this my first comment i have the .72 Lupo and its bit too aggressive for me.i have the christoper bradly in brass with b and c plate c plate is too much for me b is a sweat spot , its my 40th birthday in few weeks and i want to treat myself to a high-end razor. im thinking about the timeless razor either stainless steel or titanium in .68 blade gap . i have watched u use the timeless .95 but i think its way too much for me .whats your thoughts on the timeless .68 do u think i be ok using it. thank you. also after watching this i might get the overlander in aluminum. but still like to hear your thoughts on the .68 timeless
I was never fortunate enough to try a .68 Timeless unfortunately. I do remember the 0.95 being a smooth shaver and a very finely made razor! I can say though that the Overlander is very similar to the B plate on the Christopher Bradley if not even smoother. I think you would be fine with the Timeless however as they make lovely razors.
@@dappershaves I did not go too high end . I bought a Henson mild v2 and so far really happy with it . I get very nice shaves and haven’t had any weepers . So I might wait Another while but that timeless is defo high on the list .
Another top video, Cris. I have the (black) aluminium Lupo, which I used as a daily driver for quite a few months. I prefer it to the aluminium Overlander, which (annoyingly) is still hit and miss for me. I’m currently alternating between an EJ 3ONE6 and a RazorRock SLOC. Both give good, irritation-free shaves consistently. Otherwise, I’m trying to limit my shaving purchases. The rabbit hole is very real… Cheers. 👍🪒
The Lupo is a wonderful shaver and that polish finish is phenomenal.

Is the Overlander smoother than the ATT you used to use?
Yes, probably the smoothest shaver I’ve used!
@@AnotherCutAbove Thanks. I may buy it in future.
try real shaving company shaving cream from b&m
b&m has some great soaps, regards dapper shaves
you got the wrong Lupo....72 is for kitty cats.....95 is the one you want smooth and efficient!
would have taken that down in one pass!

It’s horrendous when you end up down the rabbit hole! I’ve sunk thousands into this hobby! Finally I have control though! 😆
