Hey Koroma love the video, been working as a desktop admin for about 3 years now as someone with no certifications would love to level up and tackle this.
Thanks, it took me about a month and a half to study for the exam, but that's because I'm familiar with the materials. The exam was not that difficult, but then again, I was already familiar with the materials.

Ahem.🫢 Just wondering. 😆 2:22 For a non-native English speaker, your English is superb.👌🏽 5:07-5:55 I approve.👍🏽 That is some sound advice. You obviously know what you're talking about. 8:06-8:20 Good point on why this is the least updated of their certifications. #ServerPlus 15:15 Nice! One of my favorites and recommendations. ⭐ #ITProTV Although, I do have a list, these guys are pretty much at the top of most of my lists including #Cybrary. 15:47 Btw, that's #Wes on the left. He knows his stuff. He is not 2nd rate so you should remember or know his name.😅 18:55 They are very good at updating their course materials. So more than likely the SK0-5th version would have or has already been released. I'm lazy to check. However, allow me to check my app. UPDATE: yep, it's updated to version 5 with 44 videos so far. At least on this version. You said you couldn't find anything for Server+ as far as physical and digital study material. In addition to Cybrary, haven't you also checked out #MikeMyers and/or his #TotalSeminars!? Alternatively, I'd also recommend getting his physical copy and/or while going interactive with Cybrary.
You could potentially do A+ or Network+ before doing the Server+ but its not necessary. You can go straight for the Server+ if you feel familiar enough with the topics it covers.
Hi Dan, it's a little hard to find labs for the server+. A friend just told me about this website. Check it out. All labs are free at the moment. (www.netdevgroup.com/online/courses)
Hi, it dose touch on Linux a little, but windows server was the main focus. There was not much on scripting of any kind, and It was very focus on server hardware. There is is a new version coming out, so maybe they will change somethings on that one.
The question are not the same as the practice exam. Understanding why the correct answers are correct and why the others are wrong on the practice exam helped a lot.

Hi, thanks for the input. I'm working on making the videos shorter, but I also want to make sure I outline my experience, so others will get the info that will help them pass the exam.
HI, I see your point. They do that to a certain degree, but they don't go off on a tangent. Everything they talk about is related to the topic at hand, and I like it. It adds the human element to it, but I can see how it might not be OK for some people. What do you use to study now?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience. Really appreciated. 🙌
You’re welcome.
Just got my server+ thanks
Congratulation!!! 🎉🎉
Should I get Server+ before Linux+?, I only have the CCNA cert, and I'm not going for the CompTIA +A or Network +
I will say get your Linux+ first. The Server+ is a good to have, but I will not put it in front of the Linux+.
@@KoromaTech thank you!! really helpful

Hi boro, you should definitely go for it. Trust me, it's not that hard, it just takes time to study for it.

Very informative video. I definitely subscribed to you!
Thanks for subscribing, and I’m happy you find the video helpful.
Never seemed to really get to the “how to” of passing the test.
Sorry to disappoint. I’m working on getting better at getting to the point. Thanks for the input. 🙏🏾 I will try to do better moving forward.
Thank u man , and congrats, but following many resources make some headaches and get u lost 😧
Hi, I see your point, but it woks for me. It gives me different point of view on things.
Great video! How long did you study for the server+ exam? And how hard is it compared to the network or A+ certifications?

Did you take the 004 or 005 exam?
I took the SKO-004.
It's it one or two exams?

I hear you...I might start giving them away. Might just need to figure out the logistics.
What other certs or experience do you need to get server+?
You don't, it's entry level. But it's good to know basic, trouble shooting, networking, security, server admin.
You could potentially do A+ or Network+ before doing the Server+ but its not necessary. You can go straight for the Server+ if you feel familiar enough with the topics it covers.

Does Server+ touch on Linux servers or just Windows? Is there PowerShell/bash scripting involved?

Was there any kind of practical simulation question in the exam?? Or all questions were MCQ's
