Agree I’d like to see how you work with kids appetites cravings as little kids can get very tricky. Be nice to see you just feeding them throughout the day for comparison as my kids days are so varied and different. One day they’ll smash the bananas and fruits, another day they want crumbed chicken sausage and French toasts. Today we are in sweets mood so that’s interesting …
Yes i was struggling as a mom of 6 months old baby. But after watching you doing all stuff alone taking care of your kids give me courage and help me to overcome postpartum depression.. I used to be cabin attendant and now totally house wife and mom stuff made me depressed sometimes. But now no more. I am proud to be a mom now😊.. Thank you sara for this ❤.. Lot of love for you and your family
I have come across your channel within the last few months. I have watched a lot of your videos and am so inspired. I sure wish you were around when I was raising my family. I am now a mom to 20 year old adults, what you are doing is so admirable. I love watching you raise your family and be a christian mom. If no one has told you lately, you are doing an amazing job. I know God is smiling down on you. Thank you for the content and I know you are reaching exactly who God wants you to. Blessings from Texas ❤❤
Ahh Sarah!!! I never get tired of your content and I’m so obsessed with it! Seeing you put your camera up to film and make videos is so encouraging and I love that you can still spend time with your kids and be in the presence while making your creamer, bread crumbs, pickled vegetables and many more things. I love how you are a house maker and I am so obsessed with these new videos every week!! I can’t wait to be on this level of making homemade bread and many other things like you!! I look up to you so much and Ilysm! I hope you’re having an amazing day 💕
That ending was so beautiful. Thank you for that encouragement. I am married 7 years, we long for children but that hasn't been the Lords will for us. The longer I am a wife and homemaker the more I love it and desire to learn how to do it better.
I would love a dedicated video about bread. How you make your sour dough and keep it going. About your bread maker, and a list of some of the breads you make. How you store your bread and freeze/save if you do that.
Sarah, when I say that you have changed my life, I truly mean it. I have found myself through serving my family and taking care of our home - it's a drive like no other, I know you know the feeling. So much of my inspiration comes from you; from organization, to shopping bulk, delicious recipes, cleaning tips...you have sprinkled your magic throughout our home in California. I loved your older content but truly LIVING for your new channel. I would love to see some homemade baby and toddler food recipes. Maybe even a breakdown of how you feed everyone efficiently. But I encourage you to keep creating whatever is bringing you joy, because we all eat it up.
This looks a lot like our Costco hauls. I love Costco paper towels and we actually compost them using a method called bokashi, they break down in less than 12 months 😀
As a professional cleaner (I actually love what I do and turned it into my own business), I appreciate how clean you keep your home. And the functionality of your kitchen. ..can we talk about the drawers in your pantry? They are fantastic!
I am going shopping tomorrow at Costco for my fam of 7 and I am a brand new homemaker just left my corp job after 12 years. I'm so thankful for this new chapter and I can def say I will be following your for inspo on how to make my home and day flow much smoother ..wow you are IT!
Young mama of 2 here, still getting homemaking down to a science but lately I’ve been really leaning in. Your videos are so helpful and calming and make me feel like I can do it all. Been watching your videos while I do the nightly dishes the past few nights and it’s nice to see another mama who spends so much time in the kitchen like I do. Thanks for the encouragement, so so nice to hear. Looking forward to more of your content 💖
I would love to see: •Kids snacks like someone else commented •All your coffees and drinks, what you put in them •A week of cleaning, so what you do on what days (I need help, I grew up in a MESS all the time and I definitely don't want that for my kids. Struggling to find routine though..)
I agree on not having too much food stored, I have what I need and it's much easier to do a shopping list when you only have to look in a few cupboards :) on top of that there's less waste and you end up saving money!
I know that you know that u impact others but your impact is sooooo much more than you think… you are such an inspiration… I ve been checking your channel even though you left UA-cam and found out that you are back… I am so glad you are back with homemaking… actually I can’t explain in words how helpful your videos are. So much love for you and your family! God bless! ❤
3:08 Just a side note, if you are gunna make raw poke bowls make sure the salmon is sushi grade. Cooked salmon though sounds nice. And I don't get how they are too old for the apple sauce snack unless it is specifically for a certain age range. I am 20 and if I saw a nice packet of those I would probably eat it.
I would love to see a video on your super food creamer! I looked for your brown sugar almond creamer but could not find it. Your brilliant in the kitchen! I’m super impressed with all your knowledge of preservation, non canning style, your recipes etc…
I would love a video of you showing you minimize the waste of food during a week and how you use everything! How do you prevent throwing away foods or utilizing certain ingredients throughout the week in multiple dishes?
Selfishly, thank you so much for coming back! I got so used to seeing and hearing you, letting us into your world that it’s nice to see you again. Like an old friend! I’d love to see your favorite products, clothing stuff and even some clean or declutters you used to do. I understand if that’s not the route you want to take☺️
Sarah, love your cost saving approach to reusing your ziploc bags. Have you heard of the Zwilling food storage system? It’s an investment but it is reusable vacuum seal bags and containers and we’ll worth the $$$. I also pre-season/marinate our meats as I divide it up to freeze for individual meals so when I take it out to thaw in the fridge overnight. And, of course, only buy in bulk for only those items you use regularly, never buy bulk for something you have never tried or used before because if you or your family do not like it then it that large amount of food or cleaner has now been wasted both as food and money waste.
Sarah! Can you please make a video on a day in your life from waking up to night. Like how your day is scheduled. Also if you can please share how you stay in amazing shape being a mama. Like what do you eat, exercise you do to have abs and stuff. It would help us all of us as mammas. Thank and love that you’re back!!!!
3:43 I also buy that one! And I try to use it sparingly, not regularly! I feel like cane sugar truly feeds cancer and disease, so for me I like to sweeten with organic maple syrup from Costco or honey when possible! But I’m also an 80/20 girl so that’s why I keep that sugar around too 🤣
Thank you for your encouragement! Being a mama who is sick and taking care a baby who is also recovering is hard and doing the daily homemaking routine. ❤ I get it. Through this week I’ve struggled in trying to be perfect and compare myself to other moms and their home. This really helps!
Really love your videos, so much inspiration for recipes and kitchen organisation. I love what you say about being a homemaker, it’s so true and relatable! ❤
Hi Sarah, I have been loving seing you back on UA-cam, when I see your videos I can’t help but wondering how do you manage doing so much in the kitchen while having your kids at home. I know you want this channel to be about what you do in the kitchen but I would love for you to share at the end of your videos what your kids were doing. 💛
Your new channel has been so cathartic to watch. As you were sorting through the Costco finds and cleaning at the end. I would love to see more of the nitty gritty how you organize your kitchen in terms of cleaning, organization, pantry storage, etc.
Love the content! Also so cool you have your kids present. I watch so many other mommas on here and wonder where the heck their kids are? Mine are ALWAYS in the kitchen wanting my attention (or snacks). Thankful for the blessing of being a homemaker, it’s a job like no other.
I know that filming videos especially like this one is not easy. I usually don't support channels that show their kids, but you deserve success and huge following for not shoving camera in their face.
Look into reusable silicone storage bags. I bought a bunch from temu and I love them. Easier to clean and dry. I'll probably not buy plastic bags anymore. Ugh, trying so hard to eliminate all aluminum and plastic. I'm loving this new channel. Your recipes are always making me hungry and giving me new ideas. ❤
I’ve never thought about marinating the chicken before putting it in the freezer. That’s such a good idea. We’ve been loving a honey mustard marinade lately.
If I had my own washer and dryer than I would not use paper towels. I would use “kitchen rags” but I have to do my laundry in a shared washer and dryer on the premises of our triplex. So I have to use a coin operated washer and dryer. It’s cheaper to get the giant thing of paper towels at Costco. One day I’ll have my own. And I can be as green as I wanna be.
I love your short Sarah! ❤ for someone like me who doesn’t like short shorts that length is perfect!! Can you pls let us know where you bought those pls!!🙏🥰
We all have to choose our battles. I have been trying to wean myself off paper towels and I am doing well. I no longer buy the big Costco package, but buy the 6 pk at ALDI and it lasts for about a month or more. I only use them to soak up grease from cooked bacon and gross things I find on the floor (cat puke). I avoid plastic as best I can, but that is the hardest thing because it is EVERYWHERE! Really like your new channel, Sarah.
Sarah, your content blesses me. I'm 33 and single with no kids (yet). I wholly believe the season for marriage and motherhood is coming, and the things you share have been preparing my heart for the fulfillment of God's promises of a family in my life. Thank you, much love, and I bless you in Jesus Name 🙏 ❤️
Can you do a video about postpartum and how you "bounce" back? Mom of 4 and I can not lose the weight and get close to pre baby weight since #2. I want another baby but don't want to until I can get my weight under control for my saftey and babies.
Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. I’m a 54 year old Momma who is having a hard day. It’s 12:52pm, I’m still in my non matching pj’s, hair is a mess and I have no clue how to make my chicken for dinner (fried, baked, strips - who knows 🤷🏻♀️)…but I’m cleaning my house and was able to put lunch on the table for my family. You are very sweet, knowledgeable and encouraging. One question - Are your latte recipes on your Instagram page, looks and sounds yummy 😋. Thank You (and tomorrow is a new day) 🌻
Oh how I miss Costco! I made a video like this years ago and recently rewatched it and it’s crazy how different my life is now living in the countryside of Bolivia where I have to make everything from scratch and a lot of it I grow myself or my neighbors do…which has its perks (truly fresh nutrient dense food) but the convenience of Costco I MISS!
I am soooo glad I now know that I'm not the only person on this earth who cleans up their chicken breast. 😅 some will just throw all of it into a dish and it grosses me out. Meat in general grosses me out, but gross parts being cooked in a dish is a whole new level for me. 🤣 I have also started buying big chunks of roasts to split up into 2's or 3's and it saves us so much money and way less food waste.
So happy that your videos are back in my subscription list! I did want to offer a technique that will make cutting things a bit easier. Use a damp tea towel under your cutting board, it prevents the slipping and sliding and makes for easy clean up when you’re done ♥️
Thank you for your kind words at the end, Sarah, I really needed to hear them. As a wife to my dream of a husband, we're currently living with our aging parents, and my brother and sister-in-law in one house. It's been challenging to figure out everyone's "roles" when it comes to being homemakers, and not everyone has the energy or the time to try to do everything (plus, my dear mother, bless her heart, has a hard time letting go of that role of taking care of us and giving the reigns to my sister-in-law and me). But we're working through it, and we're all learning how we can help each other not only as homemakers, but as family members as well in the unique living situation we all find ourselves in at this time. Great content as always, Sarah! Thank you for everything you do for your family and for your viewers, your videos are such a blessing in my life, and I know you are such a blessing to your family! God bless you in all your endeavors! 🙏💖
My husband, baby, and I bought a house with my parents and sister and I have also found that my mom has a hard time sometimes letting go of certain roles like she still buys us stuff at the grocery store when we also shop for ourselves and she sometimes is surprised when I clean main living spaces. I love that my daughter gets to grow up in a house full of love though, so it's an adjustment that is worth it in the end :)
I really love your new content! I am a working mom and I tend to get a guilty feeling when I see content like this but I appreciate you validating the role of a mom in different ways ❤
The part about homemakers ❤❤ sometimes, I feel crazy when I’m annoyed that my husband doesn’t do all the little things that I do to keep up which our baby when he takes over some tasks. They’re little things that make the rest of the day run smoother. And, while I have little space to be annoyed at my husband, your comment made that effort I put in feel seen 💕
Do you meal plan before Costco trip? I know you’ve said you can look at what you have and whip something up. But before you go to Costco what is your method? Cleaning out fridge, making that list of meals, list of things you’re low on? Do you shop in between Costco runs?
I make homemade chocolate chip banana bread that I love and came from my childhood, but it uses a cup of vegetable oil to make 2 loaves, what would you suggest I substitute for that? I don't want to compromise the taste or texture but I am pregnant with my first and I would like to start making it without the oil before my kid falls in love with it too. Also, Costco is great! I really recommend also getting shoes/basics like undershirts or socks there too. Very affordable and good quality.
I love your videos. I recognize that shopping in bulk is cost effective, however, it’s difficult for us because we don’t have the space to store everything. 💕💕💕
I think you seem like a great mom role model and I mean that for myself. I am a single mama, full time employee and I tend to feel so much guilt for not giving my toddler more time but your videos guide me and encourage me. thank you for your content 🤍
I make alot of freezer meals, and chicken marinades as well. I don't have a Costco but I do have a Sam's club. I haven't been in a long time though. I enjoy grocery hauls and share them on my channel!
Can you do what your kids eat in a week, snacks and all? Would love ideas
Yessss plz!
Yes
Yeah 🙌 this idea 👍🏻
Yes please!! This!
Agree I’d like to see how you work with kids appetites cravings as little kids can get very tricky. Please make minimalism contents in this channel I really enjoy your minimalism series
I second that!❤
I love that you avoid seed oils for your everyday commonly eaten foods, but not for your sometimes treat foods. That’s such a great attitude to have.
Yes i was struggling as a mom of 6 months old baby. But after watching you doing all stuff alone taking care of your kids give me courage and help me to overcome postpartum depression.. Ahhh Sarah! This new content is just so life-giving. Loved your old content but also I'm glad you've found your voice on UA-cam once again.
I’d love to see what you consider to be your kitchen ‘go-to’ items. Or rather what you find yourself using the most in your day to day cooking.
This looks a lot like our Costco hauls. I love Costco paper towels and we actually compost them using a method called bokashi, they break down in less than 12 months 😀
i was just looking at our compost dos and don’t for our city and we can compost our paper towels!! 🧡

I have been a homemaker for the last 20 years and I am still learning. It's a process, but it's fun, too.
I love that realistic mama/homemaker wisdom. Keep it coming!
appreciate you, thanks!! 🧡
I would love to see:
•Kids snacks like someone else commented
•All your coffees and drinks, what you put in them
•A week of cleaning, so what you do on what days (I need help, I grew up in a MESS all the time and I definitely don't want that for my kids. Struggling to find routine though..)

Don't be too harsh with yourself about the paper towels. You have 5 kiddos, lol. Having the paper towels can be handy. ❤
Yesssss! Of all the years watching you I’ve always wanted these videos 👏 👏
I love how you always seem so calm and content. You are very down to earth and simplicity is what it's all about 🌟
I would love to see how you make your baby foods and the different combinations that you do!
That ending 😭 thank you Sarah, that encouragement was sorely needed and gratefully received 💗
The ending made me so emotional! Needed to hear that encouragement, thank you.

Same here, I bought linen napkins to save money and went back to paper towels. If I lived alone, It will work lol

Really love your videos, so much inspiration for recipes and kitchen organisation. I love what you say about being a homemaker, it’s so true and relatable! ❤
The ending made me cry. Thank you, from all of us homemakers. We love you.
We just bought that same type of fridge and freaking love it!!! The flex drawer is a bonus for space.
it blesses me er’day 😂🧡
Hi Sarah, I have been loving seing you back on UA-cam, when I see your videos I can’t help but wondering how do you manage doing so much in the kitchen while having your kids at home.

I know that filming videos especially like this one is not easy. I usually don't support channels that show their kids, but you deserve success and huge following for not shoving camera in their face.
Where do you put your kids when you take time to focus on meal prep., kitchen organizing and cleaning, etc.?
You should try the air displacement method to get air out of your bags. Game changer. And then you're all set to sous vide your meats.
That message at the end is what I needed to hear today💕 God bless you Sarah 😊
Love it! Thank you also for the motivation t the end, so true 🙌🏼
I would love to know how exactly you make your chicken marinades, all sound delish!
She used to use them, I wonder if with 7 people in the house if it was hard to keep up with
The chicken tendon tip is soooo amazing!!! I have always struggles trying to cut it out! I love your videos!!! Thanks for sharing💜
Sarah Therese ! I'm so glad I found you. I really missed you. 👏❤
I’d be interested in hearing about/seeing you prep for a grocery trip. Love your new low key videos ♥️
We all have to choose our battles. I have been trying to wean myself off paper towels and I am doing well. I no longer buy the big Costco package, but buy the 6 pk at ALDI and it lasts for about a month or more. Thank you, especially for these sweet and wise words in the end of the video!❤
Thanks for the new video Sarah! Anyone know where the Jean shorts are from? I’m always looking for cute modest short options!
She thrifted them and then tailored them to fit her perfectly with her sewing machine
Sarah, your content blesses me. I'm 33 and single with no kids (yet).
Love your new channel.
Can you do a clothing haul? I’m sick of my wardrobe and curious how you shop!
Ahh that ending❤ thanks for making me feel proud and honoured for taking care of my family everyday 💕
I would love a video on your cleaning schedule.
Oh please do a baby food prep video!! Would love to expand my current go to list
Love your videos!! Where are your denim shorts from? So cute!
Would you mind telling me where you got your shirt? It looks very pretty!!
Oh how I miss Costco! I have to say I am loving this new format and learning so much!
What a lovely video ❤
May I ask for the Superfood Coffee link?
So happy that your videos are back in my subscription list! I did want to offer a technique that will make cutting things a bit easier. Use a damp tea towel under your cutting board, it prevents the slipping and sliding and makes for easy clean up when you’re done ♥️
Love your content, Sarah! Also, the Anne with an E vibes ❤❤❤❤ DIVINE!!!!!
I needed the talk at the end.❤
Thank you for your kind words at the end, Sarah, I really needed to hear them. Awww I love what you said at the end about homemakers ❤ & loving your new channel / videos btw!
Thank you for the encouragement as a homemaker ❤
EXCELELNT! Thankyou for the INSPRIATION !
Sameeee. I'll do tasks that my husband has no idea that I do, but he would probably notice if I didn't do them 😂
Do you meal plan before Costco trip? I know you’ve said you can look at what you have and whip something up. But before you go to Costco what is your method? Cleaning out fridge, making that list of meals, list of things you’re low on? Do you shop in between Costco runs?
Thanks for the encouragement - we missed you on UA-cam for this reason xx
How do you wash/dry/ store your ziplocs? I hate that they take up so much space when washing and drying. Any hacks? Thanks!
I absolutely love everything about this video. I love how it is so simple but so inspiring!!
I love your videos. I recognize that shopping in bulk is cost effective, however, it’s difficult for us because we don’t have the space to store everything. 💕💕💕
Costco is one of my favourite places to shop.
Would you please make a video on kid meals, and what you feed Edmund? I have a baby around his same age and I’d love to know
Love youu Sarah, u are just AMAZIIING!
I think you seem like a great mom role model and I mean that for myself. I am a single mama, full time employee and I tend to feel so much guilt for not giving my toddler more time but your videos guide me and encourage me. thank you for your content 🤍
Thank you for pointing all this stuff out, we just got the Yuka app! It’s so helpful
Do you have a recipe for your homemade jam? And I'd love to know your process of making baby food, too!
These videos are so relaxing, love them!
I like the marinated chicken in ziploc bag idea 💡
Could you please make a video of how you prepare baby Edmund food.. it will be super helpful
Thanks
I make alot of freezer meals, and chicken marinades as well. I don't have a Costco but I do have a Sam's club. I haven't been in a long time though. I enjoy grocery hauls and share them on my channel!
Loved this video and especially your encouraging words at the end. Love from another west coast BC mama ❤
Very keen for a jam recipe with frozen berries and how to store it for best longevity!
