the problem with our justice system today is public officials come out trying to convict someone not even tried yet, in the public, while the person they do this to, may have nobody speaking on his behalf to the public. It's "jury contamination" done deliberately by justice system before any trial ever starts. Added to that, grand juries give a prosecutor a means to practice his case first before an actual jury for the trial is seated. Of course the justice system always is given enough funding for supporting the prosecution, the one charged may get only a "public defender" who doesn't have the same resources to mount the defence.
