Thank you! Will do!
Jerry, Jerry, you never say "it looks the same"!!! My hairdresser said she had a client that made the leap from long hair to very short, and her husband didn't notice for 2 days! They said, "sounds like time for a new husband!" You don't want to be in that category.😳 Linda, both you and your hair are adorable.🤗
😄😄😄❤❤❤😄😄😄
1971 Buick Centurian that was good for 2 years and then pooped the bed. It just fell apart. The first two years were wonderful with my old Buick Centurian.
😁😅🤣😅😁
I’ve watched every video, and as informative and funny as they are, the “Blooper Break” is always my favorite part. You two are adorable!
❤❤❤❤❤
💯
I will have to disagree with the gentleman about insurance. I do not think we are going to see relief for years if ever. I have found companies are quick to go up in prices extremely slow to bring them back down.
I agree. Coffee was cheap in the 1970s. There was some catastrophic event that destroyed the coffee crop in South America in the 1970s and a pound of coffee went up to $1.76 cents. That’s all I bought was a pound and I had it for years. I rarely drank coffee back then. The price has never gone down and it’s terribly expensive today. You could get a cup of coffee for 10 cents. I only drink one cup per day so I don’t care about the price. I buy it very infrequently. Auto insurance, homeowners insurance and property taxes have only gone one way since I’ve been a homeowner and that is up. I could go on, but I’ll stop right here.
spot on
Linda I like your hair longer😊😊😊
Linda, your hair looks beautiful - AS ALWAYS!! You’re a lucky man, Jerry!
Yes I am!
Always a great show, I enjoy it every week.
My first car was mom's old 1974 Dodge Duster, Green w/gold flecks and white "sports" stripe. It had vinyl bench seats, am radio and the only A/C was the door on the floor by your feet that you could open. The best feature was the high beam switch was on the floor. I had that till the frame rusted completely. My next car was dad's old 1980 Datsun 210 wagon (red) w/200K miles. It was awesome for me because it had A/C and FM/AM radio w/cassette player. I was stylin. 🚙
Same here!
I paid $100 for a 1965 red Chevy Impala, black leather interior. My older brother gave it to me and a family friend did repair work on it for $100, which was all I had saved up as a teenaged babysitter and part-time waitress back in 1973. Sold it when we got married to a collector who was going to restore it.
I got my license at 16, 1972. My brother gave me a 1966 fastback mustang for my first car.
Sweet ride!!!!!
Happy Monday Jerry and Linda, you both have a talent for making people smile and laugh, and your good-natured spirit is contagious. Thank you for bringing laughter and joy into our lives! Have a great week!
Thanks so much, Janet!
@@JERRYANDLINDA 😍
This brought back memories of my parents' Gold Duster. I remember driving it until I got my first car...a very cool Toyota Celica, stick shift...it will always be my favorite car! Great show with lots of good information!
Thanks for watching.
I have shrunk too Linda! I was shocked to hear I was 5 feet tall…I was still waiting to grow to 5 foot 3 inches and never made it! Soon I’ll be under 5 foot like my Grandmother was!
lol “old women shrink” Linda omg. I’ve lost about an inch over the years! I’m now 5’9” 😂
Hi Linda and Jerrry, There are a lot of people that have gas heat, gas cooking, and gas dryer. The other day you talked about the pools. I am pretty sure you are not suppose to swim/do laps in the senior pools and family pools. Only swimming in lap pools at the regional rec centers.
The first car I drove as a teenager was a 1970s Dodge Dart (don't remember the year). That is great news to hear about insurance rates!
Hi Jerry & Linda, this is such a great segment . Awesome with the information provided. You answered all my questions. Love you guys!!!
❤❤❤❤❤
Linda….your new doo looks great!
❤❤❤
The year we were married 1967 husband bought a new Pontiac lemans and paid cash . I know it was less than three thousand dollars. We had it for 10years .
My first car was a 1964 Dodge Coronet 440 that I inherited from my Aunt. Big trunk as it was able to hold 4 people when we went to the drive in!
😆😆😆Nice!😆😆😆
Thank you very much for mentioning my praise in your great broadcast. That pleases me!
Our pleasure, Bella!
Another great video ❤ Thanks y'all 😊
Our pleasure!
People are opting out of having insurance. Especially in condos.
Love the Bloopers. Thank you for the laughs. :)
The partial eclipse is underwhelming. Now, the total eclipse was indescribable! Partial and total have nothing in common. Saw it from our driveway in Ohio.
Linda, I think your hair looks great! It makes you look younger! We go to Brandi’s also. My husband insists on having Brandi cut his hair.
That's great news about insurance!!!
1967 Ford Galaxie, picked it up Thursday evening, wrecked it Friday afternoon on the way home from football practice. I guess the 390 cubic inch engine was a bit too much for me. Next car was a 1969 Pontiac Tempest with a 6 cylinder. Had that car for quite a while.
Had a 68 convertible, yes the 390 was fun
Watching replay today! You two surely are full of so much important information. Thanks for always being so upbeat! Love your shows !!! ♥️♥️
Thank you Roberta!
Love you guys! Such a hoot. I love to hear you laugh & just enjoy life!
I had a 1974 hand me down green Plymouth duster with 3 on the floor, no air and it would not go over 55 mph but all the guys at school thought it was cool. Next car was a 1975 gold duster automatic with air. Now my brother has a purple duster from the early 70s with him in The Villages and in January 2024 he won The Villages Cruise-In Peoples Choice Award in a car show.
Wow! That's great!
Thanks for a great show! I am absolutely loving that Linda loves collards! Me too Linda!
when I was 16 my grandparents gave me their 1964 Galaxie 500, It was salmon pink color, my friends gave me so much guff about its color (as you can imagine) I parked it 2 blocks from school to avoid the embarrassment. I had no choice, it was the free car or nothing! keep up the good work in the videos!
LOL!!!!!
1972, sixteen years old I bought a 1964 Ford Falcon, 289 & three on the tree. We were the same when looking for a house, it found us, we are near Spanish Springs. Our new insurance company sent an inspector to look at our house before approving us, everything passed and we switched to them. Thirty days later we received a letter listing things they wanted us to do in order to not cancel the insurance. They gave us thirty days to complete. So , buyer beware the insurance companies still have all the power. Ybull of Del Mar
Always double the Fun with Jerry & Lovely Linda!! Hugs!!😍
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wonderful show. Great insurance info.
Thanks, Mike!
Your haircuts look very nice and and your hair always looks great, Linda..
.dont worry.
Great hair, Linda!! Perfect for a busy lady
Thank you, Denise!
I purchased a 1971 Plymouth Duster for $185 in 1980 while in high school. Got me through senior year😊
Great show you two. Your new hairdos look great. Let me say that you both are as kind in person as you are on your show. We were not expecting to spend a little time chatting with you when we stopped with the package. We thought we would drop it off and maybe say hi. It was so nice to chat for a bit and get to see you both outside the computer monitor. Thanks again for your hospitality and the things you gave us. It truly meant a lot to us all. For anyone who wants to know, they are as kind and fun as they are on UA-cam. Amazing people.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The Best surprise! Oh to be that happy to see your sister! Linda seemed a little worried when she first walked in .. Jerry where are you?😂
I was hiding in the lanai. It turned out great.
I really REALLY enjoy your videos.
I think I like the bloopers the best.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Linda, wow. Your hair looks amazing and you too!
We have a Florida house in Polk County. Never turned on the heat last winter. The Villages is a bit north, but you are not going to be running the heat pump too much.
My first car was 1967 convertible firebird. Got when I was 18 back in 1977 and wrecked it when I was 19! I miss that car.
That was a keeper!
Great show ! You too are so funny. See ya Thursday
🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
Linda looks great today! Love the new shorter look.
Thank you!!
Your hair-doos look great!!! My first car 1973 Ford Maverick. Enjoy your shows every week. Thank you for all the hard work.
We remember those Ford mavericks.
You have really good correspondents and categories meanwhile, I’m really excited what you will bring in future.
My first car was a 74 baby blue Plymouth Duster! My dad covered the bench seat with powder blue synthetic bathroom carpet and I often had to remove the air filter cover and put a pencil in the butterfly to start it! It was ten years old and lasted thru me to my little brother. We still don’t speak about his tenure with “Betsy”!
LOL!!!!
My first car was a '65 Rambler Classic. My second was a '71 Datsun 310 GX
My first car was shared with sibling. Blue amc matador. 1972. 5 years old. I like both your haircuts. They look great.
A Matador!
My first car was a 61 Dodge Dart. I'd love to have it back.
My first car was a 1976 blue Chevette! I loved it. A stick shift with a AMFM radio!! It was brand new and ordered. I paid $3,000 for it! It was my nursing graduation gift from myself. I graduated from Ball State November 1975!
Go Cards go!
My parents had. Chevette I loved it they hated it Dad was in the way home fro teaching one day when the transmission went out he had to drive on the hwy in 2nd gear at least that’s the story I remember.. but I had fun driving it
Good day from Barry and John Beverly Hills Florida , we love your program and watch often , We do pray the insurance situation gets better . We are not in the villages but have friends there and love visiting when we can .
Love the new hairdos ✂️✂️
My 1st car was a 1973 avocado green Ford Maverick also with a stick shift. Thanks for another great visit today. See you next time😘
But I remember that car and I remember that color.
Love Linda's new look! Makes you look 20 years Younger! Jerry, yours is Good too!
Thank you!
Oh Jerry I loved the break it down dance in the blooper break. 👏👏👏
😆😆😆😆😆
Thanks for the shout out 🥰 Good news regarding the insurance company issue as we have a 10 year old roof. Cute video, the question that was animated. Very clever.😉
Thanks!
Thank you Albert! You are always so kind and generous. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You're both looking wonderful. Thank you for the time you put into bringing us your videos. Love, love, love them!
Thank you so much!❤❤❤❤
Solved the scramble. It's a natural thing to do. We've been through the home insurance musical chairs. Challenging, but worth the effort to change companies for a better value. Glad you're pointing out good things to be found in Leesburg.
My first car was 1974 Plymouth Duster …. Yellow
Love the video, Love you guys
❤❤❤❤❤
My first car was a 1958 Triumph TR3...but my BEST car of all I've had was a 1973 Datsun 1200 Coupe: Odometer broke a bit before 400K miles, and who knows how many more 100K miles I drove over the years afterwards until forced to give it up after 32 years of ownership (couldn't find parts for it anymore).

Hi. I hope the insurance crisis does get better soon. Ken’s response in very encouraging since I hope to buy a home in TV within 4 to 5 years.
This was a good one! I love how you two have really gotten good at this! To watch how far you've come must be very gratifying! Thanks for the hard work! We'll be back in TV next week!
❤❤See you when you get here❤❤
‘63 Ford Falcon
My wife, Diane’s first was a VW Beetle Bug
We too, love our home here in Newell (south of 44); like you said, “checked all our boxes”. But everyone has different criteria.
To answer your viewers question, there is no good or bad neighborhoods. All are wonderful, and most all Villagers are happy where they are.
But …
I know a lot of people are waiting for Eastport to open, and are planning to sell their current home and move across the turnpike. But again, everyone likes different things (close to a Square, or shopping, privacy, golf course view, a preserve, retention pond, etc, etc) … and of course, the right house to make your home. 🏡
Thank you for sharing!
my first car was a 1958 Volkswagen 😊❤
LOVE the hair Linda!! First car.....my older brother's 1972 Ford Maverick.
Happy Monday! My first car was a 1968 Plymouth Fury. I loved that car! It was huge. I paid $125.00 for it. My grandfather had passed away, and I was offered his car. It was a Comet. It looked like an old person’s car to me. 😂So, I passed on it!
A beauty of a car!
1972 Dodge Dart with a Bose stereo , 8 track and no a/c. It did come with 2 vents you could open below the dash. $250 used.
My first car was a 1977 Datsun B-210!! Love the bloopers!
Like both hairstyles!
Morning mailbags!! Hi Amy! 🙂👍❤
Linda, your hair looks beautiful! I like Jerry's summer haircut, too. 👍
Thank you so much!
❤love Linda’s new hairstyle
My first car in 1977 was a $1,000 Dodge Dart Swinger. First new car was a 1980 Ford Pinto hatchback for $4,000. Oh how times change.
My first car that actually ran 😁 was a 55 OLDS I bought in 70. Indiana BMV Used to be a mess but they greatly improved their system. Hoping to see our Treasure Island favorite Beachside Motel and John’s Pass friends late May early June
My first car was a used black 1976 Pontiac Firebird that I purchased for $800.
Excellent show as usual, thank you for sharing! P.S. Linda your hair looks beautiful! Love from Port St Lucie.
Thank you so much!
Guys, my house here in Virginia Trace has a gas furnace just like the on I had in Connecticut. Keep up the good work!
The Villages have passed the threshold of priced far exceeding value. Need to do a time out on buying and building.
I think it is a sun screen for the back deck and maybe for air flow.. My first car was a 1971 Pontiac LeMans used for $2000.
My first car was a 1976 Chevy Monte Carlo with a “landau” roof! My first new vehicle I bought myself that is
Very fun show!
Thank you!
Hi folks! I love your shows and watch every one that I can. We stumbled across them as we began looking for information regarding the Villages. My husband Jack and I will be there in June for our lifestyle visit. Thank you so much for your wonderful shows. We have found them to be very informative and fun:) I do have a question for Linda. You once mentioned the emotions you felt of moving away from family to the villages, and I wonder if you could address that again. I am feeling the same way but don't know of anyone I can talk to about it. I also wonder if any of your other viewers have felt this way when they moved.
Gas heat would make no sense in TV. Heat pumps provide heating and cooling in one unit. Gas heat equipment would not be used enough to warrant the expense of a free standing heater unit coupled with a separate AC unit.
My 1st car was a Corvair…..$25.00….not a typo, and my Daddy paid too much! But I had a car , and I loved it. Got t-boned on Christmas Eve….we found a 66 Mustang for $300.00…… drove it for 2 years and sold it for $350…….ohh that hindsight hurts!
Unsafe at any speed. I bet you are upset about that Mustang!
I believe we can buy insurance Ala carte Fire Liability etc
Thank you for the video! My first car was a 1969 American Rebel SST, and I loved it. I like both of your summer cuts. Hopefully, the insurance crisis gets better, but I'm waiting to see if that turns out to be true. The meteorologists say that this will be the worse hurricane season ever in Florida, so that may scare away the insurance companies again.
1964 Pontiac Tempest three speed in the floor
Linda, I noticed your new hairdo right away…. It’s so cute! (Jerry, yours is ‘wearing’ well too!)
Like Linda's too!
Thank u both for all the info and fun! Happy Monday!🥰
Our pleasure!
Keep up the great work! We’ve enjoyed watching you for years now!
Thank you Tom! Will do!
we have a gas furnace, we live in the village of belvedere purchased in 2005
Thanks for another great video! We live near the Sea Breeze rec center and have a natural gas furnace in our home (gas stove, dryer, and water heater as well). Thanks to you, I am a BIG fan of OakWood as well. Great food and service.
Thank you, Mark.
Catch phrase I thought of for your word guess is "if you know it don't show it" or you may have already thought of it and moved on 😊 ? As always enjoy you both!!
