According to Northern website, photography is only permitted once you have permission,done a risk assessment and shown them your insurance. But what I found very alarming was this statement 😊….. “We do not allow the use of drone cameras anywhere on our stations or depots. Network Rail is responsible for the air space directly above the UK rail network and you will need to contact them for permissions to fly drones over track and infrastructure” …. It seems they make the laws up themselves 😂 So aircrafts are not permitted to fly over their tracks?😂 idiots!

You shoulda gone back in Mark , to prove the point that you are free to film anything on Network Rail property if it is publicly accessible Bluto would have to stfu . Network Rail website only suggests that if you have bulky equipment or going to take a while you could inform them prior. A DSLR with a Rode aint bulky .
