I know this is very budget, but what kinda generic URs/SRs would you put in to upgrade it? and what would you replace?
For creatures I would start with adding fossil dyna, jowgen, and barrier statue of the torrent. I would first take out banisher of light and gendo. for spells and traps I highly recommend time tearing morganite so you can draw 2 and summon 2 monsters per turn, i also highly recommend evenly matched, harpies feather duster and raigecki. I would start by taking out mystical space typhoon ring of destruction compulsory evacuation, and mirror wall.

This deck isn't great, but it is very easy to play and cheap to build. I have another budget deck that is much better. Keep in mind that jowgen will be banned and fossil dyna will be semi limited.

So the Pathfinders are because you want to use your runick spell/extra zone for slepnir, so it can generate the token so you can tribute 2 for tirade.
The Pathfinders also serve as additional tribute fodder for tirade when you can't go for slepnir.
You could also try tyrant's tummyache but I haven't tested it outside of the Duel Dorito event and can't say that it'd stop much aside from Kashtira.
