- Tangerine Dream came together with Jarre late 2014 to put the finishing touches to their work on ‘Zero Gravity’, just before founding member, genius and the only continuous member of the group, Edgar Froese passed away in January 2015. Jarre therefore has decided to dedicate the release of ‘Zero Gravity’ to Froese’s Memory.

Two MONSTER of ASTRAL MUSIC (jajaja that's what I call it) I used to think Jarre was the best and I refused to listen others but when I saw "BLADE RUNNER" and "1492" I knew that I didn't know anything about ELECTRONICA or SPACIAL MUSIC. One day I was curious and saw RISKY BUSINESS a MELODY came to my mind and my brains and heart started to beat the hertz of the music were working in my mind. Now I can tell this is my list.

R.I.P. Edgar... your music was inspiring to me over the many years... may you now be playing to the angels....

What a beautiful quote to leave this world with. He is one of the greats (like Mozart, Bach and Beethoven to name just a few) of our time for electronic music that will still live on in his music.
Rest in 'Electronic Music' Peace, Edgar Froese and thank you, respectively, for the beautiful music you left for all of us to enjoy and listen to.
I'm sooooo incredibly happy that this collaboration actually happened. Ever since I was a kid, listening to both Jarre and Tangerine Dream, i was always wondering what would happen of these great folks would come together and record something. I will forever be grateful that this actually happened. Also thank you for the amazing concert in summer of 2017 at the Citadel in Berlin, Germany, Monsieur Jarre. Merci beaucoup! :)

the piece is definitely too short and too good to be short. maybe there is even a tribute to edgar, a few pieces of art. what might have been if jean and edgar more time could have. I ask officially about the this great piece is sometimes extended somehow, 6 minutes are too short!

TD can be a bit like KS: it can be ten minutes before their track gets going, lol. I used to listen to them a lot. Even though he's done a lot of American style music, Jan Hammer is Czech, studied classical music in Prague before becoming a jazz musician, so were it not that he's retired (I think) I could imagine a Jarre collaboration. Although Hammer is so into American rock styles, it might become an improvising keytar duel, trading fours in guitar style, lol. But he's not all that way. Euro sensibility et al. He can compose. And has his own studio. Does all instruments & styles, usually with brevity though.
I hope one day you might work with Giorgio Moroder.
