- Houston’s police chief Troy Finner abruptly retired amid an investigation into hundreds of thousands of cases that were supposed to be investigated, but weren't. Some of those cases included allegations of sexual assault.

At least you have accountability/oversight. Shitholes with departments like #SanAntonioPD keep their crooked police chief for decades.
Dallas had the same problem under Chief Brown....then he went to Chicago and was their problem.
Shame on all those cops. All those cops doing that,shame on them.
Yea it’s like they don’t even care at all. Just not even going to investigate any crimes. Folks have to fend for themselves.

@@bertog1217being ignorant is an option nowadays...Houston has voted Democratic for the more than a decade and is liberal leaning. Currently, the majority of Houston elected officials are Democrats, and the city's mayors have been Democrats for over 40 years.

Houston Police Dept SHOULD NOT Investigate itself, the new mayor thinks they should, I call for a Civilian Review Board to investigate this for one person has all ready died over this ! Far too long, the Status Quo has protected itself !! I did vote for the new mayor, thinking he would be a good, but now I know he is just another 2 bit politician out to protect the police department !
