You dont need to season stainless steel like you do cast iron. You just have to make sure it's hot enough before you start cooking. That's the key. Love the channel, keep it up ! 🫡
I spent the last month in my food truck wondering why everything was sticking and excessively popping metal. They need seasoned. All metal that gets heated that high bleeds/absorbs oil. This video saved my business. I think I’m goin back to stainless skillets now too
that griddle is most likely 1500 watts , my vevor is the same and it will cook like a pro, i have had mine for a couple months, it really does cook like a professional Grill, enjoy.
Good video! I just ordered a 28” SS replacement cooktop for my two burner griddle. The cast iron top bowed in the middle and became difficult to use. Will use this video as a guide for seasoning when it arrives. 👍
Thanks for sharing. Your griddle is actually labeled for Celsius, so at the 300 degree setting it's 572 degrees Fahrenheit! Although advertised and listed as a "stainless steel griddle" on Amazon, the cooking surface on most of those griddles are regular steel, not stainless. A true stainless cooking surface does NOT darken permanently... only during cooking. After each use you clean it, and it retains its original color. And you DON'T have to season stainless. Just get it hot and use oil or butter. FYI your entire video is optically reversed/inverted. There's a setting for the iPhone selfie camera to fix that, but not sure about Android phones.
That’s pretty cool Pete. From the looks of your belly, I would have bought myself an air fryer. Bahahhaha 🤙🏻 just fkn with ya Pete. We go way back.

Griddles and guns interesting lol
That earned my follow.
I referred a friend to you for a custom holster. All the best!
Those new clips are awesome. I just hate having to use Loctite on the screws for all my holsters. It’s such a hassle.
Might want to add a stainless steel (or similar) shield behind the grill to protect your wall tile.
i seasoned my Vevor last week, it smoked some but seasoned perfectly, the eggs will slide away when seasoned properly
Wait, LMAO , is this a cooking channel or a firearms channel ?

I have this same griddle. The cooking surface is “iron” and is not stainless steel. It will rust and needs to be maintained like carbon steel.
Hey Pete around 9:36 it looks like a little flame under the griddle. You sure that thing is safe???
not sure what that is ill keep and eye on it thanks
Its oil dripping into the oil catch tray. The light is just hitting funny.
Always preheat that’s the key. A little oil and a little butter then your eggs. Make us an omelette. LoL
Do u got a holster for a canik rival
U remind me of my uncle Paul. He is from Philly. I bet u know him.
@text-6365 hey

Pancakes.. nice level even heating.

■■■...looks great but I can't image in the summer using that...the heat that would throw off, even after you turn it off...yikes.
i got it under a window
Fine Russian guns come in a few pounds of cosmoline!
With a 110 outlet it can’t be more than 1,600 watts.
