He is back on the water now, I was so shocked and amazed.
I followed the ups and downs, and let me say, that I would not want to have to go down that road.
I am not sure that many people would be able to make it back to the water after a horrific injury like that shit.

I hope the kid heals quickly and well. He's young, so that's a huge positive. I've been slammed on the bottom too many times to count as a former Pipeline surfer when I was Yanik's age. Now I kiteboard, but I do my kite loops (Power Loops) while on the water and I stay out of the air, since a bad landing is no bueno at my age. Stay strong kiddo! Heal well!
