HELP!! I used the adhesive Matt to install ceramic subway tile on kitchen wall. I hate it!! I had to put all the cut time in oven to dry then cool or or cut & install next day ot wouldn't stick. Then still had issues with it sticking. Used gorilla glue on some tiles & that didn't even work. The walls had mud some for a smooth wall look couple months prior so leveling was not issue. Even some middle tiles have fallen off. (Yes, each tile was cleaned & dust free prior to install) QUESTION: now how do I take the stuck ones off as well as the adhesive? (Did grout-less look) is a hair dryer the only & easiest way? If like to save as many times as possible
@@UltravioletHeather U can't put freshly cut damp tile on the adhesive mats, they won't stick. So u need to cut the tile & wait for it to dry. Or do like I did, put it in a warm oven to dry faster & fully. U have to use water w tile saws. Did I explain better for u? I did not like the tile adhesive. I took my kitchen backsplash down & reinstalled the old-fashion way
@@UltravioletHeather the 3m instructions were to use hairdryer to heat the adhesive to remove tile. That really didn't work. I used a putty knife/ mud blade. Approx 10% broke which was good. Had to use dryer & blade to remove adhesive from wall. Some spots it didn't completely come off while others took mud w it, but it didn't matter while using tile cement
The tile is driving me insane. You really need to be perfect on the joints if you use black grout. And the tile is far from laid nicely. It's fine but I could never have this be my finished product. Oh and fuck black grout
I’ve had mine installed for 6 yrs in my kitchen no problems!
Update after 4 years also any molding?
Almost 3 years
Any updates?
IMHO it would look neater with a lighter grout as the dark grout accentuates the issue you mentioned
Looks like nice stuff Jason, thanks for the update!
Can you make the space between tiles bigger to make it easier to put more grout in?
Absolutely, you just have to put the proper sized spacer you want between each tile.
This is great!! Ty for the update

What do you mean putting all the cut time in oven to dry then cool or cut and install the next day. That is confusing to me.

Thank u for this 🏴
Would you recommend it to be used on the floor?
Unfortunately, I don't think it recommended for flooring applications.

How the fuck can you even see it?
that tile and grout work is terrible.
How the fuck can you even tell? Are you pissed that you might be replaced by a DIYer?
