I watched this video and the original fitting video. Can you remember the brand of plastic adhesion promoter you used before you fitted the original tray? To me it looked like it may have caused the reaction and not the windscreen sealant. I had already researched the material the trays are made from with a view to fibreglassing the underside of mine and it was described as High Quality 3mm White Acrylic Capped ABS Plastic Sheet. My plan is to trim the tray and test the resin on the offcut before commiting to the tray.
According g to magnum motorhomes who make the trays , they’re made of high impact polystyrene (hipps). I’m sure the brand of adhesive promoter was 3m but I’ll find out for sure and get back to you . Thanks for watching and your comments
Great idea. Mine cracked as well so I'm going to take it all out and replace with safety non slip flooring but first of all I'll use a tanking kit. I miss having a usable shower.

My builder used one of this caravan trays for a dog shower and also cracked with less than a year and a half use. But it broke all around the waste when I was cleaning it. I wonder if the adhesive they have used to hold the waste was the problem. I will share this video with them, as now we need to replace the tray...

It’s not the music loud it’s my mic is so shit that people turn the tv etc up to hear it . We do plan on getting mics for this reason . But good point rod I’ll sort it for the next one

Same but managed to bodge it for temporary use while we was away at the nec show .

Do you think that SIKA SIKAFLEX EBT+ ALL-WEATHER SEALANT should be ok to use with this tray?
