You could not have better role models for young women and girls than the sisters of The Warning!!! So humble and hard working, their parents nurtured them but made them work for what they have and work hard for it. And you don't have to be a dad to be proud of these young ladies. I shed a tear as well with pride.
They have such a bright future ahead. Now it's time for the rest of the world to realize that 🤘

I 100% understand the dad angle. In fact the way I found the warning was after I bought my daughter a guitar and I was trying to find teenage guitarists online to show her.

This is a huge breakthrough for them. For all the raw talent, they were still searching for the polish that will make them superstars. They have found it. Wow. And yes, best rock trio in the world right now.
Damn, they aren't growing up. They grew up right in front of us. The music is jamming, but just can't get over how much they've matured in age as well as musical ability, not that they were ever slouched on talent.

@@bartyslattfast I am living in Germany we have A LOT of huge rock and metal festivals, after this pandemic i am pretty sure i can visit these bands somewhere on tour or on an festival together, that would be my absolute DREAM!

I remember seeing their Enter Sandman clip way back around 2014, thinking "wow if they stick at they'll be world-beaters". Well, The Warning are here. Their older stuff is great (as I've been on deep dive since this came out) but this is going to be the song that catapults them to super-stardom. This is SUCH a well crafted song, the lyrics are meaningful, their talent on their respective instruments is clear for each sister, the song has a great structure and vibe and the production is top notch. Cannot wait for what else their upcoming album gives us. An absolute treat and breath of fresh air for the industry. Great reaction too, brother. Totally understand your comment about them being role models for your daughter.
Man! I am father of 4 and I am 58 years old and of course I am a rocker! All of my daughters with different tastes of music...but all of them succesful on their careers! and I am here because of @thewarning! and this song is so wonderful! by the way regards from Pachuca Mexico!!!

I almost teared up a bit during your speech. So inspirational and nice. And about the "feeling proud" thing. I know exactly what you mean. I follow their story for so many years now, since when they were these three little girls performing an Enter Sandman cover. I don't have kids myself, but seeing them grow up and achieving their dreams makes me proud. Is this weird? I don't know, but that's how it is 😄

They are better than Plush and Plush get lots of airplay on our local Rock radio station. This song should also get airplay I hope. I find it delightful that I sat there and watched these young ladies play video games for hours the other day, and they come out with this incredible, beautiful song like legendary masters of Rock. They are awesome!

Best power trio rock band of any era and any persuasion... and they're only going to get better
OK!!!.....as good as these girls are or may be.....they certainly do not even hold a candle or compare in any manner to the artistic and creative performance skills or the songwriting and lyrical content and style of -- RUSH!!! So many songs by RUSH are so complex musically and the lyrics of most all RUSH songs are also so complex and contain such in-depth content, ideologies and philosophies and are woven in such a detailed manner to tell amazing and untold stories!!! So.....while these girls of "The Warning" are pretty good, they have a ways to go before reaching the level of RUSH!! SORRY!!!
@@audioengineer3720 understandable, but you can see the Rush -like lyrics and depth in their second album Queen Of The Murder Scene. Deep lyrics, creative music, without overlong songs. The whole album is a concept album that tells a story and delves in the mind of a woman going insane. Even their first album 21st Century Blood has many topical concept for a trio of teen and preteen girls. Domestic violence, activism, realistic look at their future. So, they may not be at that level yet, but they are getting closer. Not to mention Neil Pert, Rush's drummer is a role model for Paulina, The Warning's drummer.
Nice words Mr Old skule Nerd Yes the girls have grown up, super video, very professional, slick, great song. The Warning have moved to a new level and I'm pleased to hear the heavy guitar tone, its a single, its catchy but its heavy rock great riff.

Fantastic music and well executed reaction. The Warning and Liliac may help revive Rock and Roll. Your description says that you missed out on the last 15 years of metal (and presumably rock), for the most part it was disappointing. That is starting to change and I am excited about new music again!
When this song first came out, I immediately brought it over to show my 15-year-old daughter. She met me half-way down the hallway on her way to show it to me. Weeks later, and Choke is still on regular rotation on both of our playlists.

The girls have greatly improved! Best song so far they have done. The video is so, so. But, the song itself is awesome.
Dani's voice has improved quite a bit. She has struggled at times before and had obviously been training her voice. They put in the work so I hope they reap the rewards.

It's a dad thing especially when you have girls. I have girls as well and it's exactly the same for me. :-) So proud of them.
I don't know about you but when Dany gave us (me) those facial expressions I just melted, I love that red lipstick it really put your attention on her as a focal point. There is a part near the end where Ale does some vocals, I only noticed that after watching there live performance of Choke, which by the way should be your next reaction, it will answer any question of "I wonder if they can do this Live", I'll let you find out. You were warned a long time ago.

@@allensaunders449 in a couple of ways (my speculation). 1) a direct connection to their fans that DPA (and Mom, Dad, and Rudy) will always feel close to because they know that the only reason (aside from talent, intelligence, and beauty) they got here is because of dedicated fans (like you and me in the early years) who greatly believed in them and supported them. They were always suprised by they outpouring of love given to them.
2) a source of income that is not dependent on the whims of a label. Yes, they have a multi year, multi album contract; BUT, this gives them power, security, and confidence to stand up to the corporate world, not be beholden to the corporate world. And if, hopefully not, but if there is a parting of ways, they can continue without being bankrupt.

The portrayal of literal drowning was hard to watch. I am told the water is a metaphor for one's feelings and the drowning for coming to terms with them. Still difficult.
But I do see the value. People are uncomfortable with feelings and often say things like "Don't cry" - telling us what to do - or "It's not that bad" - invalidating our feelings - or otherwise deflect our reality.
If you're going to be with someone, be with them as they are. An arm around them isn't dictating anything to them. Let them feel what they feel.
I get the whole dad thing, I too am a dad. Paulina deserves all the praise and credit that comes her way, but whenever I hear praise for her I cannot help myself but to say, yes but what about Ale, what about Dany? They're awesome too! I just don't want any of the three left out, I guess it's a dad thing that way.

Why do I keep coming back to view this video? It has to be your very first reaction to them, Dust To Dust. That was probably one of the most honest reactions I have watched, plus you seem to know a little bit about music and the music they emulate. But why does no one hear the punk in their sound?

I am not sure I can agree with you on not hearing from international acts from a few decades ago. Remember Loudness from Japan?, Scorpions and Accept from Germany?, Brian Adams, Aldo Nova, and so many others from Canada? Maybe you meant it easier for us to get access to international acts due to easy access via the internet. The Warning has definitely matured and continues to shine. I can't wait to purchase the full album.
I think it is the accessibility that he is discussing. The Warning became know via social media and UA-cam. Ironic since their first album's title track cautioned against the influence of social media. Many bands would not have been seen or became bands without the technology of today.
