Adam Sandler has serious acting chops when he wants too, but 9 times out of 10 he chooses to have fun with his friends. Can't really beat that.
This movie puts Adam Sandler at a high prasie like it makes you cry 😢 such a powerful movie man 🤧
Watch “Reign Over Me” he’s great in it
Now he just puts out too many movies it's a new one every month.
He's worth 420 million dollars. I think he's earned the right to do what he wants.
"I got drunk and fell asleep."
"HELL YEAH!!!"
Hell yes!! Lol 🤣🤣🤣
😂
"Objection!"
"Shut up Tommy!"
"Sorry Mr. Koufax"
Lol gets me every time 😂🤣
The best lmao
Lol
Having a dad as a lawyer I can totally relate 😂
When you try to butt in a problem then you get told off and apologize 😂😂😂
Tommy Grayson: Objection!
Lenny Koufax: Shut up, Tommy!
Tommy Grayson: Sorry, Mr. Koufax.
“He filed for Social Security at the age of 30”
That head turn & smirk Adam Sandler does followed after that line killed me. As if he knew it sounded stupid af & had to see the judges reaction to it 😂😂😂
2:29
Its funny i was ParalyZed in a car collision at 28 and had too file for SS at the age of 30 so i find this Hilarious😂😂
So many people do this when they don’t have to
@@dolphinsneu Well anybody can file for SS. It's not just for retired workers, the elderly, or people that are injured and can't work. It's just unusual for really young people like in their 20s or 30s to file for it. But yes, people should only get SS when they are 70. That way they get the maximum benefits of it.
Yea i want to meet the man who inspired that line.lol😂😂
"I want you to be my dad, Sonny." As a father and uncle, those words echo deep.
Same as a godfather
1:11 “OBJECTION”
“Shut up Tommy!”
“Sorry Mr Koufax….” 🤣
I am amazed Mr Koufax didn't bitch slapped him
Sonny was definitely the perfect father figure for Julian. Pretty sad it didn’t work out but at least Sonny told him he’ll always be his friend and his family
He became Julian’s Step-Uncle/Godfather! 😊😇
@@cadenmorris3680 I know
Thats Julian's fav Unc
@@cadenmorris3680 better than nothing
When I was 13, I didn't understand the point of the scene.
Now 20+ years later this literally is sad, funny, yet reality at the same time.
Sonny: she’ll be my sugar mama 😉
Homeless man: I gotta get me one of those
That cracks me up, too!!!
LOL homeless man, that is Steve Buscemi i. This man is a classic and his roles are super funny even in the serious ones. Check out Conair Buscemi
@@DarkAtHearts nah check out tony b in sopranos Buscemi
@DarkAtHearts Hes got the whole world in His hands😂😂
I gotta get me one of those too, a sugar mama
The man that plays the father is an incredible actor
Yea he was a boss of an actor!
Where's the gabagool
Joseph Bologna portrays Lenny Koufax.
When he yells "ON ME!!" Makes me tear up for the father
that was one of the funniest scene in the movie lol.
Even Arthur Brooks and the opposing lawyer take their phones out to call their dads... Brilliant.
This role is the closest thing we’ll get to see Adam sandler being himself. He was so down to earth and real in this movie.
Punch drunk love is his best role
@@hornyconvictthat movie tripped me out when i watched it.
When the homeless guy is eating his piece of melon...I bust out laughing everytime is so unexpected 😂
It's actually a cantaloupe
@@snowgroomer600 a cantaloupe is a type of melon bro
@@blzraven27 and, Grizzly Adams had a beard...
His takeaway McDonalds breakfast is gone cold for him!
@@Joe_Parmesan Grizzly Adams did have a beard. 😂
My wife laughs so hard when the homeless guy pulls out the cantaloupe in court during a big moment🤣
“I love you too, sir.”🫡
I laughed too it was so random 🤣
My favorite part lol
@@samuelnavarro47324:53 me too.
@@hunter702lv4:54 😊
Shut up Tommy!! My favorite line. 🤣🤣
Sorry mr.colfax 🤣🤣
A speech so emotional even the opposition lawyer and client pick up their phones to call their dads!
I agree! This one scene in this film always touched my heart. #🙂❤
I'm in tears man 😭😭😭. One of my fav scenes.
That made me cry and go hug my daddy. He, in my humble opinion, is the best daddy God ever created.
I was 12 years old when this came out, and I saw it in the theater with a friend. Surprisingly, this was the first time I ever cried from a movie.
Damn you right makes me miss my father yo 😮💨
I love that everyone in the courthouse just grabbed their phones and called their dads to tell them they love them
“She’ll be my suga momma “ “ I gotta get me one of those”
Yeah.😃
I cry everytime Adam does that speech it's so beautiful 😍
Me too
6:41 The way Lenny Koufax (Joseph Bologna) looks at Sonny because he realizes how much he has changed because of Julian.
Probably Adam Sandler's best role. This and Mr Deeds seem like roles where he's just himself. No childish behavior like Billy Madison( which is still funny) no stupid voices like Little Nicky and no milking nostalgia for every drop like Pixels. This is just a straight up good family movie. We all cried when Julian says "i don't wanna go! Please don't make me go! I won't listen to the kangaroo song, I don't even like that song anymore!" 😢
I think he was childish at that point in his life during Billy Madison he was very silly in his 20s but then kind of grew up by his 30s
I'm guessing you haven't seen Uncut Gems. THE serious role.
@@Romy--- as good as he was in Uncut Gems I still prefer him in Big Daddy. He looks much more comfortable in this role. He shows his ability for drama while staying comedic. He was incredible in Uncut Gems but I feel he came off slighty uncomfortable playing such a slimy person.
@@Romy--- I'm guessing you haven't seen Reign over me an actual serious role
You forgot his fits of rage like in Happy Gilmore
"She'll be my sugar mama."
You can actually hear someone laughing on the back when he says that.
When he says I’ll always be your friend gets me every time
It was so powerful, everybody in the courtroom calling their dads and tell him they love him
Can I borrow that when you're done? 🤣🤣🤣☠️
Happy belated fathers day to those who either live in europe, canada and the USA
Opposing Counsel: Objection, the court is about the truth not the opinion of the defendant's father.
Mr. Koufax: You want my opinion my son is a moron.
Opposing Counsel: I withdraw my objection, please proceed.
Steve Buscemi after that Suga Mama line is what I live by “Gotta get me one of those”
😂
"He doesn't know how to boil an egg." 😋
Damn no wonder Sonny orders out all the time.
He filed for social security at the age of 30. He is a drain on the economy, on the country, and most of all, ON ME!
The way he ran into Sonny’s arms with the one handcuff on his wrist.
Wrenches me in the gut everytime…
Man that's like the saddest part of the movie 🤧😔
Why did the judge go against the statement Mr Lenny Koufax made its like she listened but went against it
@@garyrangel1719She can listen to whatever she wants, but she doesn't have to agree with it. Plus it sets up the resolution that reveals Sonny's friend Kevin is actually the kid's father.
When Julian first arrived he said he was from Buffalo and Kevin had never been to Buffalo. It was when Julian was called to the stand he was asked where he was born and said Toronto and said he moved to Buffalo with his Mother. That's when Kevin realized that was his son.
Ok
"I want you to be my dad sonny"
who's cutting onions ?
The guy at 4:33 was praying meaning his father is dead that hurt
I have watched this movie over 100 times and never noticed that before thanks for pointing it out 👍😇🙏
@@cheric3434 yup it's sad though even if it's not real it is deep
Nice catch!
@@billnumber3324 yeaaa
He's like 70. Of course his father is dead
Mr. Hurley was praying.. right in the feels
Makes me tear up every time
Every freaking time
Every time yo 😮💨
this movie has so many emotions, and good comedy in it... how did i just discover it...
His dad looks like Jimmy Hoffa.
if this movie doesn't bring a tear to your eye you're dead inside
Beautiful movie man 🤧
brings me to tears everytime. love this movie
Every time man 🤧
It's such a beautiful movie and it doesn't get it credit it deserves
1:11 objection shut up tommy lol
I know it's kind of screwed up, but this is my guide to raising a child lol
I’m 16 and I could never tell my dad I love him. My mom and he had me at 17 and 16 I have a younger half sister by him 3 years younger. He has never been there for me and probably never will HOWEVER, i thank God everyday that I am becoming the independent young black man I am. I stay in church, and want to be a preacher, actor/singer, and lawyer. 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽👑👑👑
It was awesome to see everyone phoning their fathers after that speech. It made me cry
Kevins a good friend almost costing his engagement to stop sonny going to jail
Gotta admire him
2:28- "He doesn't know how to boil an egg." Sounds like my dad tbh.
"Can I borrow that when you're done", I feel bad to keep laughing at the homeless guy but he's frigin hilarious, I even forgot he's Steve Buschemi.
This scene still brings me tears
If Jethro Tull was throwing a concert, i would've went too
Technically, his aunt dying isn't really on Sonny.
Hell yes!!!!
@@clipobserver exactly. But I think he just aiming at the type of role model Sonny is and proving why he was unfit to be a father to Julian
@@elijahvigil7467 Yes but Sonny's Aunt was an adult. I'm thinking she could have taken care of herself (maybe we don't know the whole story just like we don't know how she died).
@@clipobserver The implication being he'd rather be at the concert than with her and he'll never get that final moment back.
I named my son after Sonny
Me and my wife both love this movie so much. It's insane
Really bro that's beautiful respect!! This movie is like my childhood
The part where the homeless man is eating a cantaloupe 🤣😂
Sometimes you wish you were just more when movies were made like this I love this movie and it always makes me tear up
Even before he took on a few dramatic roles in later years, Adam Sandler showed off his dramatic skills in even the most comedic movies.
This scene gets me every single time 😢
That Hooters thing, that's just a coincidence 🤣
2:40 where did that melon come from😂😂😂😂
Bro I was crying in this scene and I call my dad and said I love him
As we should father's get no respect anymore.
This movie is so powerful man 🤧
The Saviour!
Jon Stewart!
Because of Jon
Sunny didn't get locked up.
4:42 Sonny koufax you are the father!😯😀
How quickly his dad had abandoned all reservations lol.
0:33 is one of the funniest courtroom moments from cinema.
"Hes a drain on the economy , on the country
& most of all ..
ON ME!!!"
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Step dads know the feels
I love the way the judge says awesome here I always have.
I think Sandler has one more gem in him like this movie.
I wish but sadly they don't make movies like this anymore
Lmao dude was eating cantaloupe in the court
“Hell Yeah!” guy reminds me of old man Jafar in Aladdin in the dungeons lol
Whoever has the gold makes the rules!
I get your comment.
2:18 HELL YESSSSSSS
"I uh...pending a blood test, uh ... whatever."

Great life lesson movies!!! Adam! Adam!!! Miss these days!
Oh man I just love this movie it it really does bring the laughter and the family thing going on and on
mr hurley at 4:33 based on his age im sure his father has been long deceased for sometime now, but in that moment he felt a prayer was what he needed to let his father know how much he misses him and loves him 😢
6:15 jughead to the rescue
What a touching scene it makes me want to cry but I don't need to it's time for me to man up
Not going to lie, I called my Dad after watching this clip.
I second this emotion
I mean the judge could still charge Sonny with defrauding the state but it’s cool she cared more about Julian’s well-being
This ending is very sad but also a great meaningful to. I love this movie.
Dude the thought of adding in the random shot of Steve Buscemi snacking on a cantaloupe is so funny to me.
*most dramatic scene in the movie
“Okay cut to Steve eating the melon”
*right back to drama
Only as an adult do I realize how often Steve Buscemi are in these Sandler movies
This scene is one of the best scenes in the movie
Guys how many have you watched this and cryed
After this is over get ya finga nails cut…
Total dad move
Jon, run for President
Pencil shavings😂😂
This scene always gets me because it hits close to home and reminds me of my own little Frankenstein. I pretty much raised my nephew because his father wasn’t around and I remember him saying those exact words
“I want you to be my dad” when he was little.
I made a commitment to always be there when he needed me, he’s 22 now and is a Sergeant stationed overseas.
Brandon If you manage to stumble upon this video and see this comment, just know it’s about you…
Uncle G is proud and I’ll be here when you get home 🥹👊
Hell yes! 😂😂
I love you Dad

He filed for social security at the age of 30

He is a drain on the economy, on the country, and most of all, ON ME!

I’m surprised the judge didn’t stop everyone for doing the phones after that speech
2:18 5:45 "Hell Yes" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I love you dad! I guess it’s time to let go. 😢😔
"he filed for social security, when he was 30"
