Would there ever be a reason why a "clogged up" fuel injector gives wrong electrical readings by any chance? Then have acceptable levels once thoroughly cleaned...in this case after 2 hours of dipping into ATF?
Yes, If the needle isn't seated all the way the resistance value will be different. Injectors are basically a solenoid that moves a needle in a seat that opens and closes fuel flow.
So my injector opens up when giving it direct power put it doesn’t open all the way to my understanding I’ve tried spraying carb cleaner through it and it doesn’t come out the other end although it is “opening” I can hear it click but it is vary weak compared to my others I’m running 750 cc injectors any idea what’s wrong with it?
Yes it can still click. I just did this today. Spray cleaner through the top and sure enough stuck open as it spray out the nozzle. Tested it for function and it did click
Simple enough for anyone to follow. Thanks.
Well done great video, thanks for the time and effort, great camera work and easy to follow. Top stuff.
Do they still click if its stuck open?
My van floods after running for awhile cut it off and it’s flooded have hard time starting back up is that a fuel injector stuck open

Just replace it or send it to an injector shop they can check the spray pattern and clean it up. Chances are your injector is junk
@@johndowe7003 yeah I bought a new one the old one was vary massed up and wouldn’t get the pin open even with direct power to it
@@reecechapeau8465 i once ran WD-40 through an injector and got it unstuck that way
mine don't click, been sitting for years and the gas gummed up. Guess I'll try soaking in ATF or Berryman
How to free up a stuck one
If a an injector is stuck open and I do this test is it still going to click like that and also one of the injectors had 30 arms is that normal
No . The click Is the needle in side moving back and forth
They should all have the relatively same voltage bud!

Easy to check them but a pain in the butt to get them out to work on.
Sir one of my lpg keihin injector is ticking loudly and giving out more gas but resistance is ok...
I cleaned it ...my car is Misfiring..
Please help
@Tom Smith thank you
@@salahuddinahanger8290 so what was the problem?
What if I here the noise but it’s faint ...and it tested out that it has continuity
The noise should be distinctly loud and you’ll feel the injector open and close
Dope vid!
Finger nails 101. Stop biting your nails. You need them to pry off things at times. Thanks for the great vid.
Interesting video. By the way, it’s pronounced em-PEE-dense. Not em-puh-dense.
