Okay, here's mine:
Murder drones being popular isn't a good thing. The bigger the community grows, the weirder and more toxic it gets. I've been in it for less than a month and i can say, I've never seen this much little kids, simps, inappropriate art and stupid fights over ships in one fandom. Although i will say, TADC's fandom is definitely worse, MD's fandom isn't good at all. The problem is not that it exists - there will always be a concerning part of a fandom, but the fact that even if you try to avoid it, you'll still end up seeing a big part of this type of fans. This really affects the show and even the creator's public reputation. It's honestly very sad, because the show is awesome, I've never seen anything like this, but because of the fact that 75% of the fandom is like this, I cannot peaceful enjoy it or talk about it without getting accused of being like some the people in this fandom.
Still standing by my take. Unironically, Rebecca and Braiden are the only major character deaths. Just saying.

My hot takes (if anyone cares):
1.V should stay dead because otherwise it takes away from the weight of her sacrifice.
2. Emily is the best minor character. Better than Braidon, better than Lizzy, better than even Thad. Emily is best bean. Change my mind.
I heavily disagree with the Uzi one. She was just getting more comfortable expressing her emotions and being around people she can call friends.
Yeah, but isnt it early? Like sure, i get theres a time jump. but we are just 6 episodes in. Thats too early for character dev like Uzi's

Well since I have nothing better to do, I guess I'll put in my own opinions on each of these hot takes. Most of the information on the lead up to episode 5 can be found with inferencing, we see the tape that N got last episode played at the beginning of the episode, which means that N probably told Uzi about the tape and they watched it and then the memory. V could stay dead, but yet again, I need to say that this show is unpredictable by nature, but I do agree that the safety net needs to be put away for the characters. Also I may or may not have a bias to episode 4 because its what got me into murder drones theory crafting. One reason they couldn't use their wings, did you see how low the ceiling was and how tight the corridors were? They couldn't fly even if they tried. Also the disassembly drones haven't faced a threat like this before and are trying to adapt and figure out how to deal with them, so they're at a disadvantage. Finding out the past is probably going to be relegated to next season, but yet again, what do I know? Also I can agree to the need for LOOOOOOORE, and there's theory that I came up with a while ago, but it's too many words to put here. The show in the pacing department is incredible, sure there's a few missteps, but overall, it has been great, keeps the feeling on unpredictability, like real life. Also screw shipping, why ship when you can do something more productive, like theorizing? Still kinda sad how they dropped the colony after 4, but they'll be back. The plot being so wavering is quite a good thing though, randomness is an asset in stories, its what keeps the reader hooked and keeps the story on their mind. Uzi's character development is actually quite realistic, applause to the show makers for that, she was overambitious in episode 1, thinking she could take on the world and lead the worker drones to a new life, but then she sees Worm J (as I will now refer to her as) she begins to realize that her new friend may not be so innocent, but she still considers him a friend and feels guilt for making him go away, which she fixes at the end of episode 3, and then she finds out about the absolute solver, this makes her question things, which gets her into exploring her past which leads her to the cabins, then after killing a bunch of her classmates, she feels shame but still wants to figure stuff out, then she finds out that N has a tape that can help explore his backstory, she convinces him to watch it with V and they go into the memory which Uzi tries to save them from, after all that she's given another chance to figure things out and takes it, but pushes herself a bit too far and got out of her depth, really good character development in my opinion. Also it makes sense that Uzi's solver form would look like the disassembly drones, the entity in control of both of them is the same. Anywho, that was a nice way to waste my time, to anyone who read through all of this, I'm impressed. One more thing, you must remember, I'm a random guy on the internet, what do I know?

Honestly every character feels like a different person now compared to the first couple episodes

We barely get any khan backstory
The only thing we know was that he was on a kill all humans kick when he was younger
But how was he driven to kill in the first place and why did he stop?
He left his daughter for a door, what goshdarn backstory can he even have?

Despite khan x nori being canon we barely get any information about their relationship. The only time we do is the pictures in episode four
And speaking of the pictures how was the core collapse picture taken in the first place? And who even took that photo?

Ngl, i genuinely agree with the Uzi character development thing, She went from a rebellious angsty teen whose goal is to annihilate humanity in ep 1-2, before becoming into an "UwU cutesy emo goth!!" type of girl to N, and extremely hot take: I find N annoying, Why? His "lovable idiot!! wow" trait is getting annoying. Like, shouldnt N realize that the world is not as happy as it seems, and become distant to reality? I hope N isnt even gonna instantly move on with Uzi after V's death, because it'll seem more like aboslute bullshit.
@CornAnimations Yeah, but as each episode goes by, We can see N slowly becoming distant and no longer happy, just hiding it.
@CornAnimations I hope he snaps, It'll make his character arc become better.
About the uzi thing, i'm so relieved someone also noticed that 😭
