The only issue is the switching sometimes you make the right stick switch and it goes to the wrong player and that player goes outta position. Sometimes we only have a split second to make the right switch and the game screws us over
I am 100% sure many of us have done what you said in the video and still concede many BS goals. It is because of the broken game mechanics this year. Defenders turn so slow. The failure rate of manual tackling is too high. If you defend actively your defenders will over-commit. But if you defend passively the opponents can just R1 dribble past your defensive line easily. The gameplay itself is BS and there is not much we can do.
This game going to get more complicated every year and its not good for playing for fun and games suppose to be getting fun, not gambling and competitive! This is completely sick what EA do every year!!!!!!!!!!😊
I noticed that most times you guys explaining gaming issues forget to emphasize the need for direction, in all my years of experience, the major thing in gaming is direction, once you master the act of direction in playing, every other thing will be a plus.
No tip works consistently in weekend league. Mainly the switching gets messed up. Can't even switch to the desired player sometimes. The game keeps on switching to the wrong players. Doesn't happen in rivals.
The OBS defense is absolutely broken and i sincerely hope they remove it from Balanced Defense.
That being said, if you're struggling with right stick switching and want it to feel more like Fifa23 , lower the sensitivity.
I have mine at 2 and for me that makes it the most similar.
Also, understand , that because of the ballside overload, sometimes the second man press wont work like it did last year.
Because the defensive AI is always looking to create a numerical advantage, it will drag unwanted players out of position , so be careful and make sure you always have the second indicator ON , so you can see who the 2nd man will be.
Finally, don't hold it for very long because players without relentless will only do it for about 4 seconds or so, and then, like i said, it will switch to your CB and drag him out to the wing and you don't want that happening.

Sunny I know the mechanism of defending is totally different in FC 24 in compare to previous versions but I guess my main problem in this game is the tempo of the right stick switching Because They Nerf it a lot, I used to do perfect switches in FIFA 23 without even one mistake in whole game, and another thing is my defending style was based on aggressive defending and challenging opponent in 1v1 circumstances,, and that’s such a huge issue for me to convert that to conservative style because sometimes I just need the ball back ASAP

Sunny bhai u know the biggest issue is not everyone plays on monitor and connection and ping varies for person to person.. so my suggestion to u would be make a video from scratch covering all segments for people who plays on tv instead of monitor settings defending attacking all of it. That would be a new content overall :)
From a general standpoint this video applies to everyone, every skill level, if I was playing on TV I'd focus on same things
