Methinks that Poles is unqualified to be a GM. I am not surprised that the Bears fell for his song and dance. It's such a Bears thing to do.
The whole thing of "We got culture" is getting old. They have been saying that since Pace was the GM. What you have there is a bubble, nobody up there can tell the difference between right and wrong due to weak leadership. It's what been killing this franchise since they moved on from Ditka.

What do you mean? I always remembered the negativity regarding the oline and coaching when it came to Fields. Nagy was fired after his rookie year, the line always sucked for him as well. Justin still had 3 seasons and failed to put up the number Williams has put up this year, which we all know aren't even that great.

The smart move was to fire the coach after last year and bring in Harbaugh to pair with fields. Keeping fields would've let you trade out twice getting you 2 1st and 2nd round picks at least. Imagine having alt and bowers to go with a top 3-5 coach in tbe league plus 6 picks in the top 60 this year. Idc who is playing QB at that point. All those assets plus Harbaugh you'd be set. Plus fields would've flourished with him. We seen him take kap to a superbowl and fields is definitely more talented than kap ever was. Dumb organizations will be dumb though.
