Last video of 2023 on the channel! thank you guys so much for all the love this year ❤ A lot of big videos coming in 2024! If you enjoyed this one please do smash the Like and Subscribe it would mean the world to me! 🙏 Also for those curious about how the sword works here's an explanation:
The sword is locked into a carriage that is connected by cables to the weights. It has a 2-stage release system. When the sword is pulled up it is pulling the carriage and the weights attached. When the sword and carriage are pulled up about 6 inches it hits a lever that activates the release lever so that when the sword and carriage come back down they hit the release lever freeing the sword from the carriage and the weights. If the sword and carriage do not reach the top and hit the top lever it will not be released. We wanted to keep people safe from hitting themselves in the face when pulling the sword because it would come flying out if there wasn't some sort of stop when they were pulling. So this is why you see people pushing down and pulling the sword out easily after because they already did the work prior of pulling it 6 inches with the weight attached. Level 1 had 100lbs attached, level 2 had 150lbs attached, and level 3 had 200lbs attached. Hope this clears up how it works!
I'm excited for the 2024 festival, keep it up man!
Good year buddy, love your vids ✌
You are my favorite Fitness UA-camr keep it up man!!
ma boiiiiiii!! Bran hope you and your mama had a great Christmas brother!
why when the 1st guy did the 20 and 100 it looks so easy like no weight at all. Bigger dudes struggled way more.
I get that powerlifting vs hypertrophy stuff but the 1st guy look skinny and this isn't that.
Was that just a test and the weight isnt connected yet?
Chandler's got that manifest energy, and the +200 Babe power boost. Congrats!
not really, hes the only one who did the technique right on every sword. So yeah he definetly was the smartest!
Ye right😭 everyone wasnt putting it back down, just straight up@@ricosvault
@@ricosvault as well like the first dude but he was smart enough to quit before loss.
After watching the full video i am very impressed by the first guy
He was smart
Yeah I said that same thing! Ha
i'm just not able to wrap my head around the fact that 1st guy who looked skinny was able to pull the 100$ without any struggle as compared to others
That's true strength right there, blud
I think it's more of a technique than strength.
bro he just did the goog technique, my man the bodybuilder was lifting the sword so badly towards his body instead of straight
Bro people always underestimate me...I'm average sized, 5'11 200lbs but I'm great at arm wrestling, I can bench over 400lbs and have a good punch....some ppl are naturally athletic...some on speed and some in strength..some in both..
You know why he is tall Sherlock
*It would be interesting to see the internal mechanism of each block.*
just added a run down in my pinned comment of how it works!
@@BrandonWilliamytyeah i understand shit
There is a tiny person holding on to the sword bro
Uther Pendragon said "Nobody shall wheild Excalibur but me!!!!" Merlin cast a spell on it...
thanks for the explanation, very cool man!@@BrandonWilliamyt
The reason the last guy did it was because he was doing it for the crown, not the money.
A true king Arthur
A lot of the people pulled the sword at an angle which may have produced extra friction and added more resistance
You must master all aspects before being crowned the king. Chandler knew this and was worthy
CS they were stupid!
Only the first guy was sensible!
Nope all you have to do is Lift up Go Back Down To Release whatever is locking the sword in place then come back up.
Judging by the attempts, it isn't about force, it is more about technique and grip. I am guessing that the mechanical system inside the stone (box) wants you to just pull the sword enough to release some sort of latching point, in which you lower the sword to release the weights, then of course the sword is free to lift out. This as you see have three separate weights inside the three different boxes, hence for the average person, the third one would normally not be achievable, for a weight lifter, their thought process of just giving it max effort on the easiest one makes them look weak.
I expected Ike Catcher to show up lol, bro's always in these kind of videos.
He should be in prison for assault.
@@KingzMintz what he do?
@@Wilbur18 he tried to pick a fight with Eric Kanevsky and pushed him twice because he hurt his fragile ego. The video is posted on Eric Kanevsky channel
Man you really scooped up some amazing people there. Great video bro - keep being as awesome and inspiring as you are.
brandons videos are so well done. always an excitement to watch them
your videos have been awesome over 2023 man. I loved the CIA one and Military bomb disposal ones in particular. I always enjoy your stuff. All the best for 2024!
One of my favorite one yet. I hope you get bigger soon, the higher the stakes the more i'm invested and entertained XD
Love how the biggest guy was also the most humble about it!
OG had some words of wisdom for the guy at the end 🔥
Wow that’s sick! Happy New Year Brandon!
I'm so happy that Lithuania has such a wonderful fitness content creator as you. Greetings from Kaunas❤❤
So you have to pull, push it back a little and then pull it out. If that bodybuilder had known this, he would have pulled the sword out too…
Ye it's basically just a scam lol. You don't really have to be strong.
@@PkinJourne Didn't know that people who can pull 200 lbs like that aren't strong.
@@mikusjeronovics157 Bro. A fucking twig pulled it out like nothing and a fucking bodybuilder used full force and it didn't even move. It's a technique.
@@PkinJourne Lmao how is it a scam if it's a technique? Tf. The bodybuilder had a harder time pulling it, because he was pulling towards himself and applying friction against the stone. How is that a scam??
Yeah seems like a lot of them did get it to that point so I'm puzzled.
Brandon never disappoints
It was definitely great challenge to try! Damn this last guy pulled it with no struggle 😅😅
Its bcs he listened to what brandon said at the start he said to pull it drop it then pull it again and it will come off. For example see the 300lb dude dont try and tell me he cant rack pull 200lbs… its nothing but a trick haha
@@92Warrior350yup
Ive seen ur body grow over the years, keep up the grind, w video 4:38
The last one got the good pull and technique. He took a deep breath and pulled it with his core.
He kept the blade straight right until the end and kept on pulling and giving pressure until it hit the sweet spot
There's no technique. It's just a lever that releases after a certain point that you then just let it lower back down to release the weights.. its basically like trying to push a parked car and then calling it "technique" after you put it in neutral and get it to move down an incline.
Eric Janicki has been my inspiration all year. So dope he’s in your video!
2:28 this man got a lot of juice in him lol
Still big
so
@@MikaLvaonly size but he isn't necessarily stronger than the other people who couldn't left the last sword
@@EmpityIsCool clearly he is a body builder not a weight lifter

Brandon, your videos are really exciting, really good luck with your development!
@Te.legram_BrandonWilliamsyt with me ????
Great video as always ❤
The first guy was way stronger than he looked
this was amazing
I think the mechanism is confusing for contestants
Please do part 2 of this. Also I'm surprised we didnt see the 6'9 260 guy giving this a go
They should have followed directions,
up, down, up and out.
I very cool and unique idea Brandon!! It’s hard to get good and unique stuff so I applaud you 😀😃
Get longer videos man. These are so good
most of those guys were probably not smart enough to figure out how to pull straight forward instead of pulling the sword towards them.
Yup, looks like some serious brain damage right there 3:10
Keep up the great videos!!!!!!🎉
thank you!
I love these vids!
Cool to see Eric cameo in and have a try, fun vid 🤙🏻
Congratulations to the new King! 👑👑👑
u deserves more subs
One of my favorites thus far!
Fire vid 🔥
Just read your pinned comment, and it is nice to see you thought about the participants when designing the release mechanism. Not everyone would do that.
Yeah I can see now it’s technique. And Brandon even explained how to do it. This would be something I think I could do.
That dude's built like a true viking 💪
Wish you'd do something like this were i live, in blairsville ga, and give a heads up. My town needs people like this around
You should've reminded them every time to push the sword down to release it once it's not coming up anymore. A lot of them actually got the 2nd one and just had to push it down to take it out.
The elf💀💀💀loved the video tho❤❤
7:33 My man def got some when he got home and for once didn't pull out! 😂
great video keep it up🙏
Cool vidéo bro keep doing goid content bro❤❤
Eric showing up was so unexpected 😂😂😂
Do you have a video out on the internal mechanism? Pretty curious! Insane mate
just added an explanation in my pinned comment of how it works!
The mechanism was flawed. You pull the sword, then release the force and it comes out.
*The trick to getting the sword out is to turn your hands around like you are trying to do a barbell curl. In that position you have a lot more strength and leverage. To be successful at these challenges it's all about technique and not so much about strength.💯*
The problem is if you dont have a long torso you run out of room to pull with any power. You should be able to stand above the sword and pull with full body extension.
that's the whole point of the challenge. It would be too easy if he allowed people to stand ontop of it. It's called a challenge for a reason silly
@juliannewman8720 So people with a short torso or legs could never be king. That sounds like a flawed challenge, dumdum. Maybe just allow full body use and up the resistance? Now we are thinking!
@@SMac86 it's called a challenge for a reason dumdum.. Maybe we should allow short people in the NBA.. Oh wait.. they wouldn't succeed because well.. they're short.. It's called a competition. If you can't do it, you can't do it. Don't need to accomodate certain people. What are you, pro leftist? You want me to refer to you as a cheetah or something? Should I allow men to compete in womens sports?
get over yourself lol
@@SMac86 yes the body builder was at a disadvantage he couldn’t fully engage the right muscles at that position. Still it’s funny watching a man with ungodly amounts of muscle not be able to pull the 3rd sword 😂
@@brandonrothsman2665 He said they were show muscles. Body builders aren’t typically good at chaining muscles together, too much isolation. I bet if he spent some time on that he would be a beast.
The trick is to pull, push it down, and pull again!
The key is you have to push it down after lift a liitle bit high enough
You can see in the video that you gotta put first the sword again a little bit down and after that you pull it again out. So most of these people did it wrong on the second sword or third sword. He says to them "one strong pull" various times, so they dont do the technique right. The last one was actually the only one who did the technique right, he put it back down and after that pulled it out, the big bodybuilder for example would have been easily able to pull the third sword out if he did the technique correct.
Wondering if there was an audible click from the trigger that just didn't come through, or yeah i agree with you.
Editing is insnane 💯💯
how so?
This shows that muscle don’t determine your strength!
Actually muscle does determine your strength when comparing to the same person. If someone gains 20lbs of muscle they will be stronger than their older version. But someone else with half the muscle can be stronger than them. It's all upto genetics
@@dankiusarmwrestlingTaranBroad i don't think its purely genetics, why so many people blame on genetics? it didn't got many strong evidences to prove it
size matters, but still that doesn't mean a person going to be weak when they don't look big

A lightning bolt cracks, and Merlin appears before the prophecy unfolds.
Heyy lol i luv ur vids u slay brandon
hey!! thank you so much!
First,, pull the sword up... Then push it back in a little bit.. Then pull it up again... That's the trick... Apply it on the 20, 100 and 500 bucks and you gonna win.. Easy.
Bro that cosplayer that came was really unexpected
Last guy pushed it down and then pulled again. Not sure why he chose that technique, but it loosened it somehow, that's why he pulled it out so easily.
Last guy 👑 🗡️🔥🙌🏻
The big dude was Erik, that works out at Zoo Culture gym, he’s literally the biggest guy in the gym.
Hi Brandon my son is trying to get in shape for football he’s been working out but he’s not getting the right motivation and I dunno what to do
So creative and the last dude is strong as heck
Bro for next video train like Jackie chan for 7 days
Physics helps as well... as they pull up they are also bending the sword towards their body which will jam the sword, not all about strength
You can see the holes where the pin locks the sword in..
You can hear the pin lock and unlock..
Nice, one of the more originals skits on UA-cam😃
I like the way it's designed so it doesn't smack them in the face if they can lift it
2:35 dude said it was just show muscles i respect him for that fir nkt being cocky like some body builders
3:42
I m amazed that guy didn't manage to do it
I know the difference between a bodybuilder and an actual strongman but damn.
u probably don't know the difference of a natural man and who puts water in his muscles I hope u understand my English isn't good
Steroids aren't real strength

Last guy was the only one that pulled then pushed back down pulled again😂
Bro i fuck with your videos heavy keep up the great work 💪💪😊
the first guy definitely shouldve tried to do the last pull because be was the only one that could pull out the second one with no problem 🙏
Does no one will talk about the first guy? He made it pretty easy and looked skinyy 😮
Yeah true
Technique look to pull up a little, push down, pull up more
You just have to push down after taking up then after pushing down pull it up and you will take it
Yay new videos
❤❤this is amazing
You could do a video where you train like Novak Djokovic for a week
technique is everything guy really leaned in put his knee to the blade then pulled with his back
You dont have to be strong you have to be worthy
the last guy figure out how the system works.
i am nervous of how close their knees are to that sword
Those calf raises paid off for that last guy. 😂
I like how tge crowd just left when the goblin showed up 😂
Chandler got a pep talk from the other guy abt manifesting power
I alr knew he HAD to pull the sword from the stone
Am sure when u push down and up again whilst attempting pull it releases making it easy to to lift may be wrong juat an observation
Gosh.. your shoulder's muscle must be very very strong
