One of if not the greatest piece of sport history! People literally playing for their lives. This incredible absolutely heroic goalkeeper and human shield defense performance saved lives. Each last ditch block, challenge, tackle could easily be in every top player's highlight videos. this Brazil s team was a weak team on top of that the brazilian coach was totally outdated they gone too far on this tournament

Congo (Zaire) did have a very bad coach too, playing an outdated defensive 4-2-4 against teams like Brazil that used well-established 4-4-2.

Três a zero foi pouco ,era pra ser uns 6 no minimo . Sem contar os pênaltis não dados.
Engraçado que sempre dizem que "o Brasil sofreu pra fazer 3x0 no Zaire". Sempre pensei que tinha sido 3 filha suados, mas a seleção dominou o jogo todo, pelo menos 2 pênaltis não marcados e o goleiro do Zaire pegou tudo.
Se o Brasil tivesse feito mais que 3-0, os jogadores do Zaire iam tá tudo morto quando voltassem. O ditador deles falou isso.
