I haven't finished the video yet, but that segment where Daft claims Jaiden's ED video is "manipulative" because of the change in art style drives me INSANE. I'm an artist, but I don't think you have to be an artist to know that an art style should reflect the mood it's trying to convey?? It's not "manipulative" it's literally the intended function of art??? I'm going to explode
I’d imagine Jaiden wouldn’t want to fuss over animation quality because that’d mean thinking about the sad stuff more. Draw fast, put the video out fast
Dissociative identity disorder isn’t a personality disorder according to the DSM but I get what you’re putting down. He really shouldn’t have pretended he was a doctor or something and that he could diagnose some random person with that
daft’s video about jaiden legitimately made me not take my own ED seriously for a while. i told myself i was faking it because i related a lot to jaiden’s video and i was an impressionable kid.
Although less psychotic, Daft has always seemed to me like another Creepshow Art. Just doing the minimum of research, being vague enough, and having a superiority complex to create subpar videos to create drama and attention towards himself. Still waiting for Draft's unhinged Google doc with pictures of James' room.
@@thediamonddream3233 Okay I have a theory. The reason why he made videos on Jadien was probably that he had a crush on her. But finding out she was asexual, he goes full Incel mode by just making fun of her mental health and reviewing r34 of her.
@@whatamilookinathere4159 Not sure about the crush exactly but he definitely went full incel mode and I can see how her being Asexual could have fueled him to do the r34 almost to get back at her or continue harassing her or something
@@thediamonddream3233 Which I find pretty hypocritical on his part. I know the guy is a big supporter of LGBTQ+. But than going after someone who is asexual and has mental problems just gives me the impression that he’s full of shit and doesn’t give a fuck about the those kind of people other than just using them for clout and profit.
Criticizing other youtubers content is fine, as long as you're being relatively respectful and reasonable about it. But HOLY SHIT. Daft went after Jaiden personally. He attacked her character with so much malice in that unbearable obnoxious voice of his, and over something so personal to her- something that took a lot of courage for her to talk about. It absolutely infuriates me how much he shat on her for seemingly no reason. Why did he have such a massive hate boner for her? What the fuck did jaidenanimations do to him to make him despise her so much? He wasn't criticizing her content. Not the quality or the effort she put into it. That video was a hit piece and I don't think I can ever bring myself to see him as anything other than a liar and a bully after that. He's so fuckinf *mean.*
From my personal theory is that it was during the time that the commentary community were shitting on people like Jaiden. Daft saw this as an opportunity to jump onto the bandwagon and make a hit piece at her. But still I find it funny how he cares so much about mental illness but when it comes to Jaiden that didn’t count for her I guess. Idk I guess he was pissed she even had a mental illness since that distracts him to jerking off at rule 34 of her. The guy’s a fucking hack and it still blows my mind that people still simp for this guy. Not only that but him strangely supporting AnimatedJames who is a pedo is suspicious to me, like when Tech was supporting Zero who was exposed to being a creep (From the commentary community I mean).
Daft: *makes an entire video about Jaden 'lying about their Ed' and borderline victim blaming, then proceeds to race pornographic material that makes her uncomfortable.* Odd1: fuck you Daft: :0
I got really suspicious of daft when theodds1out mentioned that he tried to find someone's office without their consent and he just brushed it off as a joke
I remember when the Jaiden video came out, i was a teenager who also was going through a shit load of mental health problems ar the time so i had such a viceral and negative reaction to how he was talking about Jaden that i never really finished it, i just closed the tab and never looked back it was so wild to me how someone could have such bad fate towards a person they don't even know
personally I watched the whole thing, similar feeling as you. but I saw it as a glimpse behind the curtain. it was around the time of the logan paul incident, and the idea that this wasn't a spur of the moment comment, it was researched, written, recorded, edited, and posted. he had ALL that time to think, hm is this a horrible video? and he never did. after that I thought he just got better at catching the slimy tendrils from leaking onto screen, but apparently not even that.
@@TSMSnation and it took him a year to delete it. With the main reason being it's now outdated? Not because he shouldn't be armchair diagnosing her or calling her a bad person.
Jadeins Father must be a whole new saint of a man. You see, Daft says they "made amends", which implies her father knew about the situation and forgave him. However, in my mind, 1 of 3 things happened there: 1. Jadiens Dad simply had no idea what Daft did, simply didnt recognize him as the person who did those things, or wasnt told the full story of what happened, thinking it just something silly and easy to move past. 2. Jadien has been vocal with her friends and family to not treat anybody openly against her online differently at conventions and such, because it might harm her or her channels reputation (no matter how bad what they did was) and they have all respected that. And simply played along with unsavory people. 3. Jadiens Father is literally the messiah, having the patience and forgiveness of Jesus Christ himself. The reason I say all this is because, if I were a parent and someone made a segment in a video reviewing unconsenual porn made of a character that represents my daughter, then made another video calling her a lying manipulator for being sad about her Eating Disorder, saying she faked one of the largest problems she probably ever struggled with in her life, and diagnosed her with every mental disorder known to the world because she was brave enough to share her story, if that person came up to me and had the AUDACITY to ask me for a picture or autograph, police would have to be called on me. I cant begin to comprehend how fucking infuriated I would be. You would have to give my ass 25-life if I was in that situation. Big Respect to her father.
Either this kid is the most oblivious person on the planet earth or he has some brass balls because i can not imagine the mentality of rating some girl's non consensual porn fanart and making a weird ass attack video about her eating disorder and then going up to take happy pictures with her DAD right after. What in the fucking world? If that were anyone else's dad he'd be missing half of his teeth.
He def didn’t know what he did. Jaiden likely never told him, cuz it’s far easier to forgive ppl who hurt you than it is to forgive ppl who hurt the ones you love. Or if he did know, Jaiden would have had to spend a lot of time talking about it w/ dad, and I don’t think she’d want to do that, considering how awful Daft was.
Personally, I wouldn’t say that he's amazing if he knew abt the situation and forgave him anyway. To forgive the guy who did that to your daughter, just out of the kindness of your heart... then that tells me, you don't care abt your daughter, nearly as much as you should... just my opinion.
@@mollylikesspaceho are you to judge him over how Jaidens family deals with this? Who are you to say that he didn’t care about his own daughter over things that are undefined and unknowable? Using daftpina logic
Hmm... I was one of Daft's subscribers for a long time. Started to have a bad feeling afterwards, so I unsubscribed. Then this shows up. Glad to know my feelings were Justified. Keep up the great work, man.
I'm a recent sub since I watched his AetherionArt video. Didn't know anything abt the artist just like watching videos of online drama while I work. I thought it was well put together but yikes, definitely unsubbing as well
I started getting frustrated with the amount of promotions he was doing each video. I never pay attention to his videos and used them as background noise. I started subscribing him after fox Goodman videos. I’m glad I’m unsubed now
To be perfectly honest, this guy’s videos made me stay far away from story time animators, because I’m very insecure about my own opinions and will be willing to change them for the sake of people I feel understand them better. But now, after this video, I just wanna go back to all those channels and see what I missed.
Those videos never really spoke to me but they aren't bad for what they are. In the end Story time animators cut their teeth on making quick animation on a schedule and letting improv decide how and what they could make a video about. Now we generally get way more animation on UA-cam these days and I'm pretty sure storytime animation is to thank for that.
I stoppi watching TheOdd1sOut two years ago when I realized that he mostly Ahmed his videos to little kids. I still watch Jaiden, but mainly because she makes nowdays mainly video game related videos (whitch are really good)
@@frootsnacc6790 I can somewhat sympathize due to past gaslighting I've experienced. It can be difficult pushing ourselves more and more out of our comfort zone, and it's in our best interests and very helpful once we're comfortable expressing ourselves fully.
Daft the kinda guy to see an underage artist accepting NSFW commissions, and instead of taking it as a teaching moment to go "hey kids, this is actually really unsafe internet behavior and can attract creepy adults to you and your content!" tries to turn it into a cancellable offense. And by that I mean he definitely used that as a point in a video. EDIT: When I saw the twitter screenshot with DeOrio's reply at the bottom I snorted. An immortal classic.
He literally did do that. The video was mainly about the artist in question being a serial tracer but still, they were just a kid and the situation shouldn't have been handled the way that it was.
Yes, I always felt bad that Just Stop, an otherwise amazing channel, had to be associated with such a bad creator, super happy hes publicly called him out as well.
The Jaiden animations thing was wild. He really could never be trusted again after that video. And it took way too long for him to delete it. I don't even like or watch her videos, but that was just crazy.
His creepy obsession with Jaiden always troubled me. I can't even work out if he fancied her and couldn't get over the fact she wouldn't date him or he hates her so much that he made it's life work to drag her down so far that she offs herself.
Probably hates her because she’s more successful than him. And still does maybe but won’t say it due to his apology to her being pointless. And besides the guy seems lazy to not put in the work of his art and animations but only half assing it (Ex: Saturday’s Off).
Wow, this was amazingly done. I think this will blow up. For such a small guy you did a good job. Daft was someone I once called a friend, I thought he changed but he didn't. I hate this point that daft defenders use "but this person is bad so it doesn't matter if daft lies and if you point out he lied then you are defending someone who said the n-word." I also like your editing if you want a job hit me up my man. I take it you have already seen what I've had to say about the guy. I'll twit this out so more people know about it.
the most disgusting part about daftpinas video on jaiden is that it worked. it worked for little 8 year old me, i didn’t even know what half of the words meant but i stopped watching her because i thought she was bad. it still baffles me.
didnt finish the vido but i dont think so just a robot has made a few daft videos exposing his trash vids and nothing happend to him so uh GIVE ME YOUR LIFE
Good luck dude. Considering Daft’s been known to contact those whose made videos on him, and pausing the video every second to address/dismiss criticism of him in Discord calls, hopefully he doesn’t chew your ears off with dismissing everything you’ve said. Great video!
Is that what happened with quinn curio? Their video on him was amazing but then after they became friends and it always seemed super sus because a lot of the stuff that was cited by quinn was pretty heinous
@@sonicmeerkat they probably have hard ones over his voice. That’s the only reason they watch him so they can get some sort of sexual pleasure. They’re aren’t using for background noise. That’s total bullshit. Hell maybe even half of his audience want to sleep with him idk.
I kind of had a personal vendetta against DaftPina, but only because I let his criticisms (which were never directed at nor really applied to me) impact how I viewed and treated art. Ever since 2018, I had tried so hard to make my artstyle more "original" and "professional" thanks to both DaftPina's videos and the trauma I endured during my first year on DA relating to requests and commissions. As a direct result of this, drawing ended up being a lot more stressful to me than it was fun, and I probably would've quit drawing entirely if I kept going in that direction. I've only recently started to go back to the mindset I had before and truly enjoy drawing again, but it took 4 years to get to that point. If I was any example, then his criticisms regarding art is unhelpful at best, and actively damaging younger artists at worst.
Honestly did the same thing to myself. I always loved drawing and for a long time I wanted to make videos even if I couldn't decide on one particular genre. I watched his videos and tried my best to integrate every bit of "advice" he gave into my work, which ended up in me never being able to make anything because I (someone who was still learning to draw in a way I liked, who had never animated or edited before) was absolutely determined to not make any "obvious mistakes". Even after writing off his videos and the entire "art commentary" community at large, I still held that mindset that all the things I struggled with were so obvious and I had to get it perfect and just right because "it wasn't that hard". I've since gotten to a point where I realize, I'm learning, and I've started putting in a conscious effort to actually cut more corners and make things easier for me to learn at my own pace, but boy do I resent him and others who made me feel stupid, and like I couldn't make videos unless they got absolutely anything right, because God forbid anyone post on this platform with less than absolute perfection in the eyes of DaftPina
This is heartbreaking to hear, art should be used to spark joy and a way to express yourself and feelings. If art isn't fun then it's not worth it, more importantly art has more value than a career path or success. Even if it's public it's still personal. If you can't express yourself with your art then what is the point?
I used to make fan art and semi-shit post art. It was when I got into honors courses is when my art suffered and I fell behind. Art and me is like a co-dependent on and off relationship. I love it, but I whenever I start drawing or designing I can never live up to my expectations and honing those skills require the same time that I need for my academics. I want to improve my art to be more professional. I've be habitually watching and studying art channels or reading on basic art techniques and it's so overwhelming. So many things that I wanted to do like getting a head start in animation, are just pipe dreams now.
i met daft at vidcon a few years ago and when i asked for a picture he was so rude about it and acted like he was going way out of his way to take a simple picture with someone. after the picture he just walked away, didn't say a word to me. he obviously doesnt care about the people who subscribe to him and since that interaction, i felt so weird watching his videos. he made me feel like such an annoyance.
bruh, im sorry you had to deal with that. i hate it when people are behaving high and mighty. since everyone in this world is the same. daft is no different than anyone, he is someone who got struck gold with the algorithm and can work making videos instead of a 9-5 job. he should honor his fans since without them he would not be where he is now.
I saw DaftPina at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
it's a bit refreshing to see someone address this. I watched him a bit years ago and my experience went from fine enough to deeply uncomfortable over the course of watching a lot of his stuff. just a lot of little things adding up, like unnecessary mean spirited jabs, disingenuous critiques, and just a general feel that he didn't really care how he actually came across. he's far from the worst creator like this, but I definitely got bad vibes
honestly I saw both Jaiden and DAft's videos when they first came out and the way Daft spoke about jaiden was absolutely appaling. The worst thing about tho was, that he was convincing, and that is absolutely dangerous territory, because someone with less introspection would blindly follow what he said in that video and accuse Jaiden of horrible, horrible things.
Wow can't believe he would do Jaiden so dirty like that. I used to watch DaftPina's videos, oblivious to his lies. I should stop now. Jaiden is literally one of the sweetest person I've watched. Edit: and James too. Wtf is wrong with this guy seriously
I find it funny that Daft hates tracing with a passion when he not only did it himself and made money off of it but also tracing in the art community is no longer seen as taboo or some unforgivable sin. People don’t really care that much anymore as long as someone else’s art isn’t being used. Tracing pieces of a stock photo or pose, and shape blocking your reference if you’re having difficulty with drawing something is becoming encouraged now, kind of shows how much he actually pays attention to what’s going on in the art community. He also told Rebecca Parham to stop doing speedpaints because they’re “ungodly boring” when that’s his own opinion, a lot of artists like watching speedpaints because it introduces them to techniques they may not have known about.
Especially when he would even critique storytime animators that simply traced MEMES in videos, which seems like such a ridiculous complaint to me? like i completely understand getting upset over traced commissions (like daftpina himself LMAO) or stuff like shexyo, but a storytime animator tracing an old meme for a 2 second segment in a video is not the end of the world edit: typo
@@angel-ts1lz Daidus. I haven't watched him but years ago I saw a Daftpina video criticizing him for tracing famous memes even though they're used as jokes. so many comments were calling Daidus "awful" because of that. I think then he made a tweet apologizing for "tracing" memes and won't do it again. It just confused the shit out of me. he wasn't even plagiarizing someone's art. Daidus' vids had his avatar's face form into very well known memes of someone's face to show his expression in a humorous way. There's literally no reason for Daftpina and his fans to get mad about that.
@@bigseven8227 For commissions I understand that tracing can be an issue, especially if someone else's artwork is being used. For Fox Goodman, I couldn't care less if he traced some furniture for a background, furniture is hard to draw for a lot of people. Tracing memes or something in the background is not something people should be canceled for.
Not to mention that tracing *can* give more weight to art than if it was entirely original. For instance, in one of the Speedball Marvel comics, the hero Speedball (now a national convict for accidentally killing hundreds of innocent civilians) was heading off to be incarcerated when someone came out and shot the dude. And that scene of him being shot is entirely traced from when JFK's killer got shot when he was heading off to jail. It's a scene that goes pretty hard, and the fact that it's traced from a similarly national tragety-turned-karmic retribution, goes even harder.
Bad news. Daft has done it again. Just Stop has uploaded a video Clearing the air on the whole situation on that LS Mark marriage video. Daft was basically manipulating Just Stop to put in certain things and pushing the video to be made and uploaded.
The complaint about Jadens art style changing in the face reveal video is still leaving me realing. It's like this one meme formate. "Tell me you aren't an artist without telling me you aren't an artist."
Love how angry you got regarding Daft allegedly ripping off your video without credit. Wether he did it or not (trying to stay objective, not trying to discredit you), you got the most passionate about something that affected you personally, and I respect that.
It's genuinely demoralizing to keep hearing about these creators that are allowed to fucking up and act like such obvious snakes just because they're chummy with other creators or cause "hey this dude's a bad person so who cares." I've been apart of those kind of artist cliques and seen them fall about and it keeps hurting time and time again. I understand wanting to be there for friends, but being a TRUE friend means calling them out and leading others down a better path. Certain things can be handled privately of course, but still. Such a great vid that perfectly lays out why this dude is such a con artist.
I don’t often look at videos discussing people I personally know, seeing as, often, I don’t think of them as worth worrying about unless it has to do with incredibly serious allegations, grooming and the like. However, yours stood out to me, as I’d seen previous videos from you and, considering the quality those had, chose to give this one a shot too in hopes it wouldn’t be mindless ranting. And I will say that there are many things I agree with you on. Your arguments were well structured and laid out with evidence, even when discussing old points of contention. I won’t get too explicit about my own opinions here, but I want to make it clear I don’t support everything Ryan has done, not by a long shot. Especially in regards to Jaiden and James. He’s my friend, but that doesn’t mean I never question him. I try not to personally state my feelings on his dramas since, well, I don’t like getting involved if possible, and often, I don’t look too deep into the situation and therefore don’t think I can make a judgement call, but I’ve had my fair share of disagreements with the guy. I’m not a staunch supporter of everything he’s done, but I still consider him a friend since he’s been nothing but to me over the years I’ve known him. He never pressured me into not disagreeing with him, and though we don’t always see eye to eye, those kinds of topics barely make up any of our conversations/interactions. It’s mostly just the kind of talk you’d expect from friends, and as far as that goes, I just know him as a helpful, nice, supportive guy who’s fun to hang out with. I guess for a lot of people it can be hard to believe, but when you’ve done this kind of work for as long as I have, you find that people are often way nicer when you talk to them in person than in an argument on Twitter. People can argue in the replies below this comment that I should cut all ties with the guy if they like, but that’s just not my nature, and I hate cutting ties with people if I don’t have to, especially when I’ve known them for years. The fact of the matter is I like having Daft as a friend, and he’s never done wrong by me, so while he can be incredibly rough in video and sometimes off the mark/ ‘snakish’, I tend to view him outside of just the bubble created online. My gut tells me that saying anything at all will end up worse off for me, seeing as so many people like to spit anything I say about whatever back in my face eventually, but then again, not following my gut led to some of my best commentary videos, and though I don’t make them anymore, I like to think my review content is just as good if not better for what it is, and how my writing has evolved because of it. Not to mention I just feel way more fulfilled. But that’s just me rambling.
If you’re friends with him, than why don’t you and the rest of “Red Jacket Gang” tell him to knock his shit off. Is like you guys are almost encouraging his behavior to get worse. I don’t know why this is hard to do. Are you afraid that Daft might send a hitman to kill or something? You guys grow a pair, and tell him to knock his shit off man. Plain and simple. And don’t you dare tell me “Well it’s complicated” I don’t want to hear that excuse.
You can still be friends with him and also call out his bullshit, thats what friends do, of course i don't mean making it a public fuss, it can be personal.
Hey man, I know you are already getting shit by people, but I do want to add my 2 cents. Frist off, I think it's great you actually acknowledge that you don't support everything Daft does. It's very refreshing to see. I also can understand the sentiment of not wanting to get involved in drama with a friend, especially when it's on a platform which I feel is more a creative outlet and escape than anything thing else. Not only that, but not wanting to bring up stuff on the internet for private conversations to just have more balance in your life and interactions is reasonable. Lastly, I can also understand the sentiment of not wanted to act like less of a friend to someone who has only been good and helpful to you. Doing otherwise is honestly difficult for myself as well. That being said, I feel you are missing an important point both I and Rev are trying to make: Daft's biggest advantage is that nobody, including respected creators who he's connected with, calls him out. Not receiving consequences for bad behavior only serves as encouragement. He frequently seems to go unpunished despite his friends calling others out for less, and it just makes everyone look bad in the process. On my video on Daft, a friend of his and Curio's came to my comment section stating that they felt Daft should be criticized, but felt that I was being unfair with calling him a manipulator and Quinn a hypocrite (I don't agree but that's besides the point). However, despite feeling something should be done about Daft's actions, they haven't done anything about the issue. Thing is, when you ignore/do nothing about an issue, you are putting the task of finding a solution into the hands of others, and when that happens it's very likely you are going to get a solution that is not what you wanted. People outside of your friend group are not going to be as charitable to Daft as you'll be, and as long as you continue to be quiet it is likely things will only get worse for Daft and possibly his friends, including you. I can understand that you don't want to babysitter when it comes to the content of a grown person, and that you don't want to do something damaging to a friend, but if nothing is done, if nobody gets through to him, things can very likely get worse, people will be less patient with his BS, and you'll have to ask yourself if saying nothing was worth it. I cannot force you to do anything you don't want to do. But I really feel you and his friends seem to downplay the gravity of his actions, and what people are willing to do about them, and I do believe it will cause more issues for your friend group if things stay this way. Keep in mind, you don't need to stop being his friend to tell him to cut the shit.
53:36 This comment definitely aged poorly with Just Stops recent video but the overall video so far has aged very well (The video from JS I’m referring to is Called “Clearing the Air” and I suggest doing research about the situation if you don’t know about it cuz it’s very messy)
EDIT: I have been looking further into the Tina Fate situation and there are many more layers to this controversy. I previously thought David was far more innocent than he actually was. There is too much to state in a simple comment. I will be going over this in the future. You missed some very crucial information about the Tina Fate situation which actually makes Daft's involvment much worse. In a nutshell, the 17 yo victim had a history of going after older female artists, trying to get into relationships with them, and then saying they got groomed. If you have time to contact me, I'd be happy to show you what I mean. That's not even the end of it.
So you mean to say; A duplicituous girl targets old lesbian artist in order to blackmail and by accident attempted to blackmail a duplicituous man playing a girl to get vulnerable lesbian fans nudes, whom argued with a duplicituous content creator that wanted to exploit the drama and make some bank from the lesbian community? Fuck, the only real victim here is the already marginilized comunity by psychos.
It is a big thing people leave out cause there's this air of "TinaFate is still technically a predator but Daft just ruined our chance to catch them!" even though that's really not an accurate or complete picture.
Dawg who cares even if that is true at the end of the day David catfished and gr00med her it doesn’t matter if she did what you said because David could of literally blocked her and be on his way he met her when she was under the age of 18 there is no excuse
As someone outside the art community I think Daft formats his content in a way that really makes him seem credible, smart and entertaining. I've come to see more and more of these videos about him and I do not intend to follow his content anymore but I am curious if anyone from inside the art community could comment, do his videos come off as credible from the inside or is he just really appealing to outsiders?
In my own personal take, as someone who's been in the art community a while and a fan of its creators, the way I see it? Its a mix of his calm and collected composure/speaking and how he formats his videos. It makes him appear very friendly and neutral to whatever he speaks on, starting at someone's past then building up to courent controversy gives off the appearance and air that you are really well versed in a topic so it makes their takes more believable. You're less likely to fact check someone who doesn't appear to take a side and merely informed you on 'hey this is going on. Here's my take, but you can take that as you will.' That's how I see it anyway.
He sounds like an ass with a stick up his butt and an ego hurt from licking the boots of others to leech off, imo. If I wanted art critique, cool art showcasing, handsome animator revealing industry secrets, super funny videos and an overall positive vibe I would go with Ethan Becker. Way more qualified and way more entertaining than Daftpina will ever be in his life I think
i think i first watched daftpina when the criticism against the animation story time community was really high like with turkey tom or lsmark. even when i was younger i began to notice and got irritated by his nitpicks concerning people like odd1sout or jaiden. stopped watching him for some years and this is what he's up to? sad!
Bruh I don't even go here, I fell asleep and this video began autoplaying, the knock at 1:02:27 fuckin JOLTED me awake out of my sleep bruh I thought someone was at my door 😭😭😭 I live alone 😭😭😭 shit scared the LIFE outta me
the whole 'Daft pina reviewing Jadien Animation porn/nsfw art' thing still makes me feel sick to this day, considering that Jadien had openly said that she doesn't want her "fans" to draw NSFW or Porn of her character ..
I started watching daftpina during his “redemption” era, after his apology to Jaiden. I feel bad that I didn’t really look into that whole situation, I didn’t know he went that hard on her for no reason. But because I enjoyed his content, I just blindly watched his videos without realizing how bad his takes were. 😭
this was in my recommended, so i'll have you know that this is working. this is all incredibly sad to see, daftpina was someone i actually looked up to, it's insane how a monotone voice compared to all the high energy voices can make you seem like you're in the right. i sincerely fucking hope that daftpina is a good enough person to atleast acknowledge the existence of this video
I was about to start drawing at 58:05. I am not drawing anymore. Great video, glad I already found a talented replacement for my commentary binging needs :)
This is a really well put together and awesome video. You truly seem like an honest and good person. Your closing segment is very impactful, and hearing how mad and upset you are at this guy for basically stealing your work is humanising. I used to like Daft, I was subscribed to him for a very long time. It always was harder to believe he was a horrible person as he presents himself as a trustworthy source. Not to mention I've been watching him since I was 14/15, so I guess the nostalgia in a way makes it difficult too. Thank you for making this, I hope the word gets out and Daft loses his subscriber base, as hell, it is evident he never deserved it.

Oof, that Just Stop mention in Daft’s friend circle aged like milk. But I am glad that he distanced from Daft, I don’t think he’s entirely innocent or completely off the hook in the LS Mark situation but considering he sounds much less manipulative in his recent video about it compared to Daft is really telling. The fact Daft made that whole video is so mind boggling with how sneaky the editing is with skipping DMs so fast, having contradictory evidence, making bold claims with little evidence in them, and overall not getting the fact he shouldn’t have fed evidence to begin with just because he was salty, advocated a false call and never told Braxton to just NOT make the video at all because it was personal. I’m still celebrating the massive amount of dislikes on it as it’s needed, particularly when the dude is allegedly blocking comments mentioning the dislike ratio. 🤣
1:02:03 it's also worth noting that being interested in drawing something does not mean being interested in doing it. i personally follow several nsfw artists who have absolutely 0 real-world interest in sex. sometimes its just fun to draw a boob, regardless of your realworld thoughts on them
@@inhabitedartist my guy if you're asexual, why draw nsfw/f*tish content? Unless you're purely doing it for the money, then I don't believe you're doing it "just for fun." Clearly you have _some_ interest in that specific content to pursue it.

I know everyone's already said this before but what he did with the two jaden animations videos was disgusting. I'm in no way downplaying the other awful shit he did but seeing him downplay jadens very genuine struggles with mental health as basicly "manipulation" and then, in the same breath say that she "wasn't taking mental health seriously" was just baffling. Like imagine pouring your heart out only for some ego-tripping jackass to make some smooth brained argument calling you a bad person
back when i first watched her face reveal video it was actually incredibly impactfull seeing someone who had to deal with so much have the strength to tell thier story. I'm sure that video has helped people.
Daft really was one of those people who played into the "negativity sells" mentality. He had to dig and nitpick as much as possible to fabricate issues when there are none....at least none worth an entire video. I'm glad he's losing relevance and credibility
Especially since Rebeltaxi is open about Daft helping with his animated pilot, this feels like a major red flag to the quality of said pilot when it comes out
Im not so sure on that one. Veridis looks like hes on the same path as Daft, going from "Normal commentary channel" to "Creepy, fake good boy persona" while talking about political culture in Animation. Such as raceswapping and LGBT representation. Not suprised hes friends with Daft as they seem to share simmiler thoughts........
@@Vanished584 well that just seems like you don’t like talk about “political culture in animation” at all, which was something i haven’t seen anyone critiquing daft for, nor is it something i personally have a problem with when it comes to daft. if you don’t enjoy that type of content, that’s completely fine and you’re well within your right to criticize it, but it doesn’t seem to have much to do with problems people have with daft or qualities they share. if anything, I’m more likely to believe that daft is weaponizing progressive movements to take down creators he doesn’t like, while viridis joe fights to not take down creators or “cancel” them, but to speak on issues that plague fandom culture, such as white-washing and harassing black/poc cosplayers. although i guess thats just an assumption on my part when it comes to daft’s intentions, for all i know he could be genuine, but to be honest, i doubt it. On top of that, viridis joe is speaking on issues that he would have firsthand knowledge and experience on as a person of color in fandom, as well as being in the lgbtq+ and willing to speak on these issues of disagreement with his perspective and reasons why he thinks this. meanwhile, daft has to rely on other people to give their perspective on complex issues relating to poc culture and lgbtq+ issues (because he is neither poc nor lgbt, at least to my knowledge) which at least in my perspective, is what gives off a virtue-signal like attitude, whether he intended to or not.

I started watching his videos on Odd1sOut and thought "oh shoot James is kinda shady." And then I realized James may be shady but that doesn't make Daftpina right either. A lot of daftpina's "criticisms" are SUPER nitpicky and he draws inflammatory conclusions about people's intentions without actual evidence.
Bruh he claimed jaiden lied about her eating disorder but then proceeded to "diagnose" her with every other mental illness under the sun. Never trusted him after that and when people used his as a source, I ALWAYS took it with a mountain of salt.

I remember watching Daft casually when the Jaiden video dropped. I was upset, as both an artist and someone with mental health issues that have been crippling (on top of dealing with family members who have the same views as Daft), and separated myself from his content. Then, I saw a clip of him saying a young artist should "get better or stop drawing". I was done at that point. He genuinely left the worst taste in my mouth. I'm so glad I drifted from his content when I did.
watching this after watching Just Stop's response to his (now deleted) LS Mark Dating video, uhh damn Daft really was kinda Manipulative. He basically gave JS no other Options (in terms of how to handle the Mark Interview [I think]) to prolly get people to hate on Mark's GF when the Video would come out for views (Presumably).
Thank you for making this video! As someone who has watched his videos for years, I felt like something was off, but shrugged it off. You highlighted exactly what is wrong with his content and I commend you for putting so much effort into this video. Keep up the good work and I will be sure to watch any future videos you put out!

Probably cus daft stole most of the content of his popular video. As well as its asset HE made. Didn't credit him. And then HIS video gets demonized while daft gets the credit.
I remember years ago when I watched some of his videos I always ended up leaving just feeling bad about the people he would talk about. I remember thinking that it felt way more harsh than constructive criticism should be and didn't feel comfortable watching his videos. For the longest time tho I'd never found someone who shared the same opinion. Wherever I went it was just always praise for him so I ended thinking that I was just being sensitive or something. Seeing more people start to share the same sentiments has made me feel so much more justified in feeling weird around him originally.

I’ve noticed flaws in Daft for a while, especially with his many Odd1sOut vids. Some of his titles gave me a bad vibe, specifically his Spaicy vid, where the title is “Hidden Groomers” and with a title like that, someone is going to take it at face value and harass the creator regardless. I’ve spoken with the artist, Spaicy, and read through their document covering everything and it is really well put together, they are a good person who has made mistakes in the past and is trying to move forward, not letting these mistakes define who they are, who isn’t like that? Problem is, UA-cam encourages stuff like that, the misleading titles (I mean look at all the clickbait out there). Just a shame because he could actually be doing some good if he could get over his damn ego and do the research himself.
Id like to note something that i wish was touched on more with the Jaiden situation, since it seems in comparison with other things mentioned it didn't get a lot of attention. As someone with mental disorders n other such things, the fact that daftpina listed out disorders on basically no basis besides harmful and negative stereotypes makes me sick. For some reason, us with these problems are always cast as the bad or horrible people, and clearly Daftpina believes the same [why else would he state them, besides to prove his 'Jaiden is a lying and bad person' point?]. One of my siblings, [who will remain nameless], has a personality disorder - specifically one commonly misrepresented and portrayed to make whoever has it evil. That being BPD [Borderline Personality Disorder], one mentioned in Daftpinas Jaiden video. Seeing as they have to deal with the stereotypes and hate that comes with such disorder, it's genuinely gross for me to see it as something listed because hes trying to paint Jaiden as 'manipulative', 'crazy', and 'just trying to profit'. Spreading the narrative that 'people who struggle with these serious mental conditions are horrible insane people', harms us greatly, and actively reduses the help we can recieve for such things. The stereotypes aren't even true, doing any amount of reasearch can tell you that. It's just lies created by those who want to paint us in a bad light for something we cannot control or choose. Having BPD doesn't make you manipulative, set out for only yourself to gain profit, etc. That is far from who my sibling is- and is a stereotype created by the media to belittle us, and immediately discount all we are saying and call us crazy so people without such disorders can get their way. This is something that happens with any sort of disorder. I myself do not have BPD, but i do have autism, and a thought disorder in the process of being diagnosed. These stereotypes of what a disorder "is" harms all ND people, especially those with 'less accepted' and 'insane' disorders. I don't know how else to wrap this up than saying that those of you who may read this, too keep it in mind. Even in this comment section i havent seen people talking about it, which goes to show how ignorant people are about our issues. To be honest I havent seen anyone 'big' talk about it at all, in any context, which really hurts, and shows again how we're not taken seriously, and how normalized this thinking is. Other than this one thing that bothered me, this video was well put together and informative- and frankly immportent, and this issue isnt as much an issue with the video- but rather the media itself.
It's honestly been a while since I thought about Daft, since I only really watched him when the storytime animation community was booming. Admittedly, I took his critiques for granted since his first videos were genuine callouts of bad practices in the community and because he wasn't one of those 'drama' channels doing for clicks and views. In hindsight, I probably should have known better especially since it was the Jaiden and James videos that made me rethink how correct his assessments were. You mentioned the point of him 'arguing from authority' and I think that's something he may have still done during his "good streak". One thing that made me think he was legit was the fact that he got some of the people he criticised to vouch for what he said at the end of his videos on them. Essentially saying "I'm right because the person I s#!t on said I'm right". Ignoring the false logic, I could easily see a lot of these (mostly smaller, up and coming) animators feeling coerced into agreeing to vouch for him because of his larger following. Seeing his vindictive aswell probably doesn't help matters either way. Ultimately, Daftpina (for me at least) is in the past, and I hope he has changed his tune
Amazing video dude! I never bought into Daft's apology for Jaiden, maybe she and some of her fans/closed ones forgave him, but I still saw it as half-assed and just made for saving his reputation. Also it IS sad how Quinn turned from one of Daft's biggest critiquers to a personal friend despite him still doing things she criticized him on. But hey! If it gives you hope, this video got reccomended to me, meaning the algorithm is starting to pick it up! Here's hoping others see this and Daft either changes his ways for the better or he just leaves
It rages me very much so, the jaiden section alone especially. I struggled with my mental health for years and was at a low low point for a couple years. So seeing him be like this and victim blame her just is enraging to see Im doing alright as of now, and honestly been using negativity I’ve felt in my life alongside the rage to fuel me to make art Also pretty good video, hope to see more from ya
I’ve watched him for a long time but started getting skeptical with the abundance of Odd1sOut videos (and their content) along with the responses under his John Bob video (where if I recall correctly, people felt uncomfortable with the person in question being covered in a video). I think it can be really informative to make videos about people, but not so much when someone throws whatever they want into said video.
The way he talks about Jaiden's video hurts a lot. I deal with an ED, and when her video came out I was at one of my worst points mentally. It felt good to know someone I looked up to dealt with something I dealt and still deal with. Her video was so relatable not only with the things she was saying but the way her art looked felt relatable. The way the video looked matches how I drew vent art. It hurts to know he thought so low of her and her struggles. I don't care if he apologized. I don't care that the video was however many years old. You can't just say shit like that to someone talking about their mental health struggles.
Also rewatching this video, I noticed he tried to arm chair diagnose her with DID??? DID (dissociative identity disorder), in order to form, requires repeative severe (severe being subjective, trauma is different for everyone) childhood trauma before the ages of 6-9. Jaiden has never shared that her childhood was traumatic in a way that would form that disorder. It's fucking stupid he would try to arm chair diagnose a serious childhood trauma disorder like that. Nor, from what I've seen, has she ever stated she experiences severe dissociation.
Watching this vid I realise something about Daft in the recent years. He goes after people who no-one wants to defend (obvious reasons) but then that means he can say whatever the fuck he wants. If anyone points out "hey, you're wrong about this" his fans don't hesitate to jump on their throat and just call you out for defending a terrible person, even tho the point is against Daft and not the person he's talking about. I remember a while ago I watched his video on LetMeExplain. I already didn't really like him but the vid came up and I gave it a shot. A mistake I haven't made since. He made clear lies in the video that he'd never made a video on her before when he had and deleted it. When people in the comments sections pointed this out his fans rushed to his aid with either "find the video then" or "he was being sarcastic obvs" when how tf can you tell with Daft who's whole online personality is so dull and muted that an orange has a better range of conveying emotions. Daft's built himself a little safe bubble and only when it gets so bad that something seeps into it does he actually do anything about it, but again not admitting that he's lied or he's wrong but just taking the video away from public eyes. I've never liked Daft. He's the definition of a social snake and more people, yes including his friends, need to actually hold him accountable for his lies and misinformation because right now the message reads as a person needs to try and be friends with Daft or just risk being lied about.
I was horrified by what he did to Jaiden. Imagine talking about a personal issue, being so raw and putting herself in a vulnerable spot to talk about herself and bring awareness and maybe some hope to other people feeling the same and using an art style you feel it is more appropriate to do so. And I also would imagine that drawing and editing this video could have been very VERY hard on her. Just imagine doing all this just ot be manipulative. Someone who calls himself an artist this is just bad faith argument and end of the story. The thing with TheOdd1sOut was also simply ugly business but stealing content like your James Bear video? I wonder how many other smaller creators did he "consult" (to don't say steal. Allegedly). And he didn't even read the material he used in his own video, just how lazy this guy can be? I also saw that Tina thing live and I went "bruh, imagine roleplaying as someone of the opposite sex" I say as I'm a girl who uses a gender-neutral username and a male avatar to avoid being harassed. Doxxing is never okay, two wrongs doesn't make it a right.
This is the best video on Daft hands down. Not only does it do a great job of recapping already well known things on Daftpina's rap sheet, but it goes over all his lies and brings light to all his mistakes. I already loved your James Bear vid but you outdone yourself with this.
You've put so much time and effort into this, I hope this reaches more people! Daft has always been odd to me especially when it came to the Spechie situation, in a way, their storytime's were like a rant (similar to many other storytime youtubers although a bit more blunt) and the Jaiden situation was really the cherry on top.
I kinda feel like Daft damaged discussion around jaiden as a whole because now it feels like people are busting out 'shes a narcissist" every time she does anything, I've seen people call her a narcissist because she came out as aroace
Okay, either i deleted my comment on accident, youtube ate it or there was a connection issue, but anyway, it is truly terrifying how this situation scalated from the beginning, the downplay of mental health issues to a downright obssesion and parasocial relationship with a content creator and his associates, not to mention the truly disturbing fact that despite having had watched videos with a similar format to yours for MONTHS, i only got access to it because a friend shared on their platform, which i did as well once i was done, hopefully in the future something more can be done and people take action on this cause is not a youtube issue only, as i have been exposed to stuff like this EVEN IN WATTPAD
Ever since I saw that post by TinaFate1 and how it bothered his life and how people would brought up the drama. I had this lingering feeling of pity for TinaFate1 as well as some sort of doubt to Daft. I watched Daft for a while and admittedly, I'd believe it due to his massive following (he's friends with SolidJJ AFAIK) and the fact, I know little about these people he criticized and would just eat it up. Thank you for shedding light to this person. I would never have known if not for this video. I'm glad I watched it before forming my own thoughts and opinion about Daft.
@@klonoafan2012 That doesn't mean you can't feel empathy towards others. IDK, I'm just more forgiving and I believe a person can change if given enough time. I don't personally follow them but as if recent I did see their post in which they ranted about how it bothered their life and that people kept bringing it up. I know some person doesn't change, or they try to but as the saying goes "old habits die hard" but sometimes, as a human, you can't help but feel pity and wish they took a different path in their life. That's all.
Ever since I first saw his videos, I always thought he sounded insecure. I first thought that “oh, maybe he’s introverted” but he publicly attacks and harasses people, showing that he always has a hammer in his hand and every person who he dislikes looks like a nail. Daft is actively hurting the communities that he barges into and claiming he helps by “exposing problematic people” and acts like he’s never made any mistakes in his whole life.
Idk, the TinaFate rant seems kinda unneeded. Like yeah, there's no problem with not liking his stuff, but it's not like he's the only person out there doing meme art. Also noting that meme art was his main thing before the drama, so it seems to weird to expect that he'd stop doing the thing that garnered the vast majority of his audience. As well, I just want to point out that the male leads of Komi-san, Uzaki-san, Sono Bisque Doll, and Nagatoro-san aren't really self-insert characters. Tadano: spoof of the "everyman protagonist" by trying to be so normal that it becomes abnormal. Sakurai: well built & attractive college student that has to be forced into socializing because he couldn't be bothered otherwise. Gojou: literally has no friends in the start because he's hyper obsessive over an incredibly niche hobby to the extent he can't relate to anyone his age (I don't know anyone who'd want to imagine themselves in that position tbh). Hachiouji: is the closest since he's a shy nerd type, but he's more than we enough fleshed out to say he's not really intended to be a self-insert. Sure, people could & probably do insert themselves into these guys, but they aren't written in a way that lends themselves to it above any other lead character in fiction. Alright, now that my autism has been sated, good video dude.
@7 secouds Well, if Rev wants to shit on Tina's art, that's all well and good. But it seems weird to focus on Tina when plenty of other artist make similar kinds of meme art, such as Khyle and Baalbuddy. And more importantly tbh, it just distracts from the rest of the videos point by being there. That portion of the video opens the possibility of the conversations it creates to center around disagree with it, instead of talking about the criticisms of DaftPina. Which I'd consider counter productive to the goal of spreading knowledge of those criticisms.
Currently nearly done with the video (about 1:20:00) and goddamn. This is a lot of shit daft has done, which if it weren't so terrible, I would call it impressive. Anyways, I've been subbed to Daft for a while under the veneir of him apologizing to ChillyPanda for telling her to stop drawing and jaiden's video. Based on how he spoke about it, I figured he personally talked it out, like an adult. I've always found both videos appaling with that. A good faith reviewer SHOULD NOT say someone is manipulative when they speak about having an ED or tell someone (a clear beginner) to quit. I'm one of the viewers who would keep him as background noise, I tend to never look at the screen. I'm the demographic he trusts to do that. It makes me feel incredibly gross for supporting someone who never gives enough of a damn to check his sources. Safe to say I'm replacing my subscription to him with one to your channel.
I am so grateful in moments like this that I kept my distance from daft pina on youtube. His videos always irked me, where it felt like he was using middle school debate tactics, wherein he'd just use rhetoric to go, 'look at me, I'm unbiased because my voice doesn't rise, and I myself am a neutral person'. The people I've met in real life like that are often just very controlling people who lack an actual intelligent acumen to pull anything off, but simply mistake pity from others as success. Which in a way it is. I feel Daft Pina could only be successful with young teens who aren't familiar with these school yard debate tactics. Who mistake his stoic demeanor as assurance that what he's saying is true, because at that point in your life, the only people who talk like that are your teachers, and they know more than you. From everything I know about him, from his videos and his online persona, he feels like he's just a bully who uses social clout to seem per formatively like a better person. It is saddening to hear though that Quinn Curio works with him now. I really like her content, and her insight into the weird state of criticism of online creators like the Odds1Out made me feel like she could see through his performative actions. But oh well, people aren't perfect.
So my sixth sense was right about him when I watched his video critiquing onto other people. He's impression is manipulative and harsh without knowing the true hard works behind art or content creation. Glad that everybody is aware about DaftPina's manipulative intents onto people.
As the old expression goes "rules for thee but not for me", as from this video (and many others) Daft had done some things wrong but if others do the same stuff then it's wrong and he must critique them.
Thanks for making this video, I used to really dislike his content because I just viewed as a bully of other content creators just making harmless entertainment back when it was popular to dunk on UA-cam animators. All the PKrussel's, Turkey Tom's, and other people in that variety, it just added uneeded drama and rudeness to an otherwise wholesome and fun community. I feel like his videos on Spechie, TomSka, and especially Jaiden were just super hateful and just villainized people going through mental illness. But I definitly started too look past a lot of it after he did the interview style videos on his channel that he does now, him being connected to so many other big UA-camrs now, espcially ones in the genre of content he once was so critical of, really started to make me change my mind on him. It definitly made him seem more likeable and credible like you mentioned in the video. The Quinn and Thumin collabs especially made me look past all the old stuff he did since they are creators I respect and watch a lot, one even making a huge video being critical of daft. Seeing that he still hasn't fully changed when making his negative videos on others. Having his friends feel more like a crutch for him to avoid critism now.

Cause he wanted to date her but couldn’t so he goes full Incel mode to try to downgrade her as humanly possible. While also jacking off to r34 of her cause if he doesn’t he’ll kill himself.

However, in my mind, 1 of 3 things happened there:

It was the Jaden “apology” that made me unsubscribe.
I’m glad I’m unsubed now
Same exact situation. You’re not alone. Always follow your gut feeling with this sort of stuff. It’ll save you from embarrassment more than once.

And by that I mean he definitely used that as a point in a video. EDIT: When I saw the twitter screenshot with DeOrio's reply at the bottom I snorted. An immortal classic.
Wait where in the video was the De Orio comment at again?
He literally did do that. The video was mainly about the artist in question being a serial tracer but still, they were just a kid and the situation shouldn't have been handled the way that it was.

@Viewer Kind of reminds how Chris Chan thought about his drawing as a refined art style and every criticism as a personal attack.

If this is true, does not surprise me at all.
bruh, im sorry you had to deal with that. i hate it when people are behaving high and mighty. since everyone in this world is the same. daft is no different than anyone, he is someone who got struck gold with the algorithm and can work making videos instead of a 9-5 job. he should honor his fans since without them he would not be where he is now.
Because you are, stop asking micro e-clebs for pics
Of all the things he’s done, this is not the worst one
I saw DaftPina at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face.
I should've known something was up the second I watched DaftPina claim Jaiden's mental health couldn't be that bad since she was smiling in a video.
The use of his format styling for this was HILARIOUS and I love it already

Especially when he would even critique storytime animators that simply traced MEMES in videos, which seems like such a ridiculous complaint to me? like i completely understand getting upset over traced commissions (like daftpina himself LMAO) or stuff like shexyo, but a storytime animator tracing an old meme for a 2 second segment in a video is not the end of the world
edit: typo
@@wilesnailspower9781 I completely agree
Hey, this is completely irrelevant to the video's subject matter but i think your 'mediocre cartoon reviews' are pretty cool

It makes him appear very friendly and neutral to whatever he speaks on, starting at someone's past then building up to courent controversy gives off the appearance and air that you are really well versed in a topic so it makes their takes more believable. the whole 'Daft pina reviewing Jadien Animation porn/nsfw art' thing still makes me feel sick to this day, considering that Jadien had openly said that she doesn't want her "fans" to draw NSFW or Porn of her character ..

I'm glad he's losing relevance and credibility
viridis joe makes honestly stellar videos. its a shame good creators like him choose to associate with people like daftpina

Because of Daft, people think Spaicy was complacent to the situation.
The dude genuinely has a bone to pick with TheOdds1Out and I’ll never understand why.
Well this aged well
The way he treated Tomska was so unacceptable like wtf is wrong with him.
looks like DaftPina can join ImAlexx in the “UA-cam Clowns Hall of Fame.”
When his "Reviewng Jaiden Animations Porn" came out...
People...knew his downfall was going to happen... :[
and the fact that some of it wasn't censored. . . .
When UA-cam needed Rev most, he returned!
It rages me very much so, the jaiden section alone especially.
I struggled with my mental health for years and was at a low low point for a couple years. So seeing him be like this and victim blame her just is enraging to see
Im doing alright as of now, and honestly been using negativity I’ve felt in my life alongside the rage to fuel me to make art
Also pretty good video, hope to see more from ya
Storytime animator: *breathes*
DaftPina: and I took that personally
Didn't expect to see nagatoro in this video
@7 secouds Well, if Rev wants to shit on Tina's art, that's all well and good. But it seems weird to focus on Tina when plenty of other artist make similar kinds of meme art, such as Khyle and Baalbuddy. And more importantly tbh, it just distracts from the rest of the videos point by being there. That portion of the video opens the possibility of the conversations it creates to center around disagree with it, instead of talking about the criticisms of DaftPina. Which I'd consider counter productive to the goal of spreading knowledge of those criticisms.
weird criticism, but go off.
The problem is that 1) TinaFate ain't the only meme artist. 2) TinaFate's stuff is r/animemes tier.
Currently nearly done with the video (about 1:20:00)
and goddamn.
Whoa, this guy was a freak from the start. Can't believe I've never heard of him, but I'm also kinda glad I've never had until now
I am so grateful in moments like this that I kept my distance from daft pina on youtube.
