New Defense DL8316 oil filter Review

This filter has decent build Quality, felt ends and E core construction. Said to be made by Fram, but is actually made by Champion labs which is owned by the First brands group who is technically Fram group. Fram is owned by Trico who is also known as First brands group. It's just a funny situation on who owns what. 🤯

you are right it is a champ Lab filter, for the price it is pretty hard to beat, the media looks good for the price but it has a little rust on the base plate, I would use that filter.

I would use it also, I like Champ filters, they have never let me down yet. Lots of people don't like the felt but they are still constructed a bit better than Fram extra guard. Thanks Bud.
