After waking up to two foot of snow on my drive am stuck indoors. I cannot even get out to feed the birds so watching your wonderful video has helped cheer me up. Thanks for your time , it is appreciated.
Your bees love the "Wild Honey" to land on where they slurp up the nectar! A bit like your followers, slurping up all the tips and tricks you share so generously. Congratulations on nearing your Golden Wedding Anniversary; our next one will be 55! Thanks once again. 🐝🐝
I love Tim Holtz embossing glazes because they are transparent, love how your stamping showed through it. I was leaving work and mentioned to my boss I was using bees in my art journal, so she asked if I could make a bee themed card for a baby shower she could not attend. I made 3 cards using a couple of different bee dies and bees with wings of vellum or acetate, she picked one, then showed me the printed invite and my bees matched the theme. I had a blast using different products and she got a card that met her expectations. I wish I had given the bees a "full belly"! Thanks Christine, you always make beautiful cards!
Hi. Thank you for sharing this beautiful card and all your wonderful chitchat, it really makes my day! I thought of you and some of gorgeous cards the other day after I'd had a bit of a go at a multimedia style card panel using craft card and some leftover scraps from other projects. In an effort to get rid of the 'dystopian nightmare' look that I'd managed to create I added some pearly gold, black and green accents and it still looked a bit rough and this is where your lovely cards and style saved the day....I made some pretty little butterflies, cut the panel up into long rectangles and stuck some bits of white bubble style die cuts across them, gave each of them a craft border and added the butterflies once a strip was adhered to a card base and Bob's your uncle! I ended up with four pretty cards that were almost as fabulous as yours were so I was feeling rather chuffed with myself and it was all down to you and your wonderful talent. Yes, you saved my panel and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Oh dear, sorry.... I'm waffling again. 🤣 Have a great weekend and congratulations on your upcoming big wedding anniversary!
I think your very brave filming your video when your not sure what your going to do, I can sit at my desk with all different stuff around me for half an hour and still don’t always end up with a finished card or even one I like . I must take an example of your thought process and try not to over think things or make them too busy. Another beautiful card Christine, love the bee die . Thank you ❤
Did you see my Advent calendar videos with Gummiapan dies? That was a real challenge, making a card a day, with for the most part, an unseen die! It was great fun though! I'm so glad you like my videos.😊
I really never get that embossing powder with the inks as I didn’t think I would use them very much, but then I see all the lovely things you are doing with them……..I love this card and I think doing bee things are important, as they are so important in our lives. I am also very happy that you respond here and on FB. Makes you rather special and fun to follow!❤
You always bring such a freshness to your creativity. I’m an over thinker. I complicate my process so most of my cards are late! 🤦♀️. Then I watch one of your videos and realize I don’t have to. You make me feel it’s doable. Your CAS creations are so elegant and beautifully done...thank you! I’m a FB follower so as much as you receive joy from the comments.... we receive joy from your postings ! Thank you again! 💕🙋♀️🇺🇸
Love that you're working with the embossing glazes! A word of caution about the Emboss It dabber...I didn't think I was getting good coverage with it and tried to squeeze more out. The top exploded off with embossing medium going everywhere and the top (sponge) won't stay on now. LOL Adventures in crafting!!! Wonderful card!
Never thought about velum as a border. Interesting. Have yet to order from gummiapan, but I am having a look and may need to change that. Enjoy your weekend. Always look forward to your videos.
Love this honey color, your card is going to be gorgeous Chrissie! I love how your mind works as you are creating. I also love hearing you talk about your husband and how you two work things, like grocery shopping. LOL Love that you will be celebrating 50 years of marriage in Dec too! I would have loved to have gotten that long with my late husband, but am appreciative of the 25 years we got together. As always, your video's are so entertaining as well a learning experience too. Oh and you enable so well. LOL I have a wish list going! Hugs, Brenda
I really enjoyed the process of how you chose and used such a bright choice of color for a CAS card! I appreciate learning about new products you've demonstrated too.
Yay another video from my favorite lady!❤ It is so enjoyable listening to you as you try new things and how you put a card together. Your beautiful card and video have brightened my morning. Thank you 😊
I do love how you add dimension to the bees with your stylus …..gives such a punch of realism so very easily! As well, in all my years it has escaped me to use vellum as a coordinating piece of layering paper 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️. It’s brilliant!! Thanks for another beautiful card, with loads of tips. ❤
I love that you're using the embossing glaze. I need to get mine out and play. (Do I say that with every video you post? Seems like it.) I definitely need the reminder to shape my die cuts. What a difference it makes. The weather here is frightful but UA-cam has so many new vids today it's delightful! However, it is keeping me from my crafting AND getting out of my PJ's. 😊
What a charming card. Congratulations in advance on your golden wedding. It’s our 30th anniversary a week on Sunday and we are so looking forward to it. Thank you for another beautiful tutorial. Oh. BTW. I’ve made to CAS cards today and quite pleased at how they have come out, so thank you again for your inspiration. - Dawn 🌅
@@Chrissieannie It's very thin, translucent paper, similar to the paper skin of an onion. It was used for carbon copies in the age of typewriters, and also for air mail correspondence because it weighs next to nothing. I have some left over from my dad's office. One of these days, I'll play with it and let you know what I discover. 😀

Hope the pesky snow clears very soon…after you’ve had time to appreciate how pretty it looks 😊

Thanks so much Helen, I think we were sort of late starters with the wedding thingy. We were 28 when we got married!🧡🧡🧡
@@Chrissieannie We were almost as old! We waited patiently until we found the right one! 😻
And it was obviously worth the wait! ❤️

I wonder how onion skin paper would work in place of the vellum. Any thoughts?
I've not heard of onion skin paper and if you have some, why not try it out to see?
