putting a sku or name on the sticker drawers could help with finding them faster hehe. it also makes it easier if someone comes to work for you. I used to work for an illustrator and I had to help them put SKUs on all their boxes so we could find stuff without having to look inside every time.

Hi, tip for the finding stickers, what I do is I made a .75" sticker of all my designs and stuck it to the bins. (I have the jumbo version with mini and large drawers of that style bin and they fit). I'm new to the shop, so maybe not labeling is better if you change designs but for me this works well.
Had to leave early before the premiere but I loved this vid sm 🥰 it was perfect to crochet plushie orders to haha your vids are always so chill and relaxing!

@@doodleh9318 hi, I'm new to having a shop but start of with research and design a bit. You'll want to research your areas laws (on tax, permits, and registration) first, to see if your allowed to sell in your area (some countries and states have higher limits). You'll also want to watch some videos on how much people spend on the product you want to sell, and if based on that you want to make it yourself or start manufactured/ someone else makes it. And for design you'll want to start creating around 10-15 products, tbh I'm starting/ started with over 50 designs which is a lot. Also start an Instagram for your shop or do a general one (like mine is a businesses Instagram, but I post my designs and shop stuff). After you do the first research and have an idea of how and what you want to sell look up different website hosts and market places (lots of people start of on Etsy, if you want your own site Shopify is another, I'm a teen so I can't use Etsy so I built my site using wix, and integrated ecwid for e-commerce, taking payment with stripe (pay pal and square are other ways to take payment too).) For designing apps, for art I use ibis paint x (phone) to color my design, and medibang (desktop, and mobile). These are free apps and work well. I recommend organizing everything in a Google drive, and having folders for designs, shipping logs, orders, pricing of any products you sell (If a lot), packing and any suppliers, and other projects. You'll also want to research these things. If you want to do stickers research how people make them, soosanmoo, katsnip (if I'm spelling right) and other creators have plenty of UA-cam videos on it. Also I'm about to launch my online for the first time, I started off at my local markets, so I recommend creating a full pre launch list, count EVERYTHING, make sure you have all shipping supplies, products, product photos (very important) and log it all either in the Google drive or in a notebook. There's a bit more detail I can go into, based on what I know but this is a UA-cam comment so it might go over the max. So last notes, get a few organization bins (the black on in the video is good, I have a large one with small drawers for my 2" stickers and larger (like the video) for my 3" stickers, and thank you cards, etc.) I also have a large basket with my sticker paper, boxes and envelopes. And a small basket with my little glassine bags (to protect the product), along with a makeup storage thing, with 5 drawers for my sticker sheets, stamps, address labels, packing slip (not necessary for everyone but would recommend), scissors, waship tape and more. And then final note have fun with it, sometimes, especially as starting out you might have slow weeks but if I've learned anything from the videos I watch, and other creators is it will pick up, and you just have to give it time. According to a lot of people you might not get your first order immediately it can be 1 day-a month or more, it's a lot to do with algorithms and capturing your audience, but even after that I see that it won't really grow stable until 6 months to a year of work, and you'll learn a lot. (As said before I'm new to this, and just about to start online so I recommend researching how you want to run your business.) Hope you have a wonderful day! And hope this helps ☺️

so I run a nail shop on the side of my regular job and was playing this in the background. when I heard the etsy' 'ching' I thought it was my notification TT^TT
My studio is almost finished just need a few more book shelves and drawers for items. But this week I'm doing a test run of my 3d printer. I got a lot of commission work from when my husband went to Hero con and one of the people is from supernatural so I started to watch that show to see who he is in the show I got hooked lol. Only watch it when my husband is home because I'm a chicken lol.

I love everything sm! Question about packing stickers in letter envelopes, what kind of paper do you use for that print which I assume also doubles as backing so the stickers don't get bent? I currently use cardboard but it's quite thick and doesn't look very aesthetic. Also I'm in the US and have no idea how international shipping works, are you generally able to ship with just one stamp (which wouldn't include tracking)? For EU orders how do you include info like tariff codes and vat number?

hey, which printer do you use for printing label stickers?
I'd love to know how you do your mailing labels for your stamp envelopes - the ones you did first. Do you have a file somewhere, or is that a CSV file you pull from Shopify? Almost all of my orders are free shipping, so I can't print labels on Shopify, and end up handwriting them still.
I purchase address labels and use the Avery template on their website to print labels out, it's much clearer and faster that way~

A postage stamp has a weight limit, so it'll depend on that.
