Not sure about the long term effects of something like this, but not gonna lie it was done perfectly. Just a slight nudge to define his jaw rather than completley changing his face. Great job!
There are no long term effects besides wanting to get it done constantly
Wish this option was available back in the mid 1990s. I had mandibular implants along with a wrap around chin implant made from silicone inserted through the inside of my lower gum line. Three months later they began breaking through because the surgeon (Dr T) never bothered to fasten them to the bone. The whole thing ended in disaster and I was out $14000 not including my flight and stay.

Make sure you get personal information from patients themselves because you can't always trust the surgeon or his/her staff on results. Good luck in getting whatever you decide. Remember to research other first world countries as well.
@@rocco... those implants always have to be secured to the bone with screws otherwise they'll move, I have chin implant no screw but in this area is less likely to move
@@naegleriafowleri2230 According to the doctor who did this back in 94 (Terino) everything was A okay after the surgery. No internet back then but I was told he was one of the best. 👎🤬. Sued him but that didn't go well either.

If you want to give him better results, 10 units (or more) of botox into metals muscles is advised. The are contributing much to his chin being 'raised' and so some extent feeding the structural recession of his chin.

@@naegleriafowleri2230 in the Masseters we can only inject botulinum toxin, not dermal fillers. The toxin in the Masseters require between 1 and 4 injection points depending on the hypertrophic condition of the muscle.

I think people with heart shaped faces and weak chins are better candidates for this procedure. If you have a longer, rectangular facial shape with weaker or no cheekbones, getting filler injections into the lower face, may leave you looking like a pear shape, with your face too bottom-heavy from the front.
Yes I agree . If you are a skeletal malocclusion class 3 with a weak chin and jaw it is the perfect non surgical option .

In his before shot his face and neck are tilted further down than his after shot.

Filler will enhance what you have but will not completely reshape like the comparison shots shown.

Hi, the can be used for cheeks augmentation and retrognathic chin and forward maxilla . They are not indicated in case of forward mandible .
They rarely can be used in the frown or forehead due to the risks.

Are jawline exercises useful, or there is no solution but filler?
They can be helpful too , but if you want a quicker and sharper definition of the jawline, dermal fillers are the best option .
Weightloss will be useful but exercising the jaw its self will only enhance the muscles slightly not the actual bone structure.
Mewing is a cult, not effective.
How do you prevent the filler from “lifting” when they open their mouth? I’ve seen some really nice jaw line fillers shaped well, but when they open their mouth or laugh heartily, the filler moves up
It needs to be deep close to bone , unfortunately using cannula makes it tough to get deep injections. It’s not really made for that.

exactly it's a waste and a money grabber. Go for an implant or fat transfer. I have been getting this shit for 4 years now (when I can afford it) and have spent north of $10k usually get 2-4 syringes on the chin/jawline and it literally metabolizes within 5-6 months and im back to how I looked before. Not worth it, very very expensive for very short result.

There are chin implants , however not jaw implants . If a permanent surgical option is what most interest you , you should discuss it with a plastic surgeon, as I only do non surgical treatments.

After 14 days it integrates with your own collagen and becomes part of your tissues , so if you get punched it can hurt regardless if you have filler or not .

If you were to just tell the truth that this is the way how to ruin your face long term. The filler never fully dissolves, and will just migrate years down the line, and will make the face look awful out of proportion, no matter how good you are at injecting it.

@@LadyFrost1971 There's a lot of research out there that proves that your body cannot keep producing hyalase as you'd die if that was the case. The bi-product of this is that the injected areas never fully absorb but are rather redistributed to surrounding tissues over time. You can see this to be true from mri scans. Just because you lose volume in the treated ares over time doesn't mean the hyaluronic acid has fully left your system.
