- I’ve really enjoyed making this video of Devon Truck Show. It shows bits of the 24hours leading up to a truck show. Arriving at the show with my truck, polishing, food and parties.
I also had a look around one of the monster trucks and was blown away by how incredible interesting it was. Link to their channel below ⬇️

In my previous job I was sent trunking between yards from Dartford to Bristol, then to the Exeter yard. It reminded of your yard as I drove down the M5.
Then I spent the night out before reaching our Exeter yard.
That trip highlight was down slope the A303 just to see the Stonehenge. When I stopped at a layby the smell of burned breaks was unforgettable. If not for the Scania's retarder all the way down hill I would not be telling this story today. It will get you if you are not ready for it.
Then I gave it up and went North on A338 to join M4 East because the A303 was freaking me out driving on a single carriage fully loaded until joining the M3 back home. So I came back on the M4 East, longer way but less stressful to me.
Long hauls in the tight UK "A" roads is just not for everyone, I suppose.
I just miss the good old days in America. Six lanes, pedal to the metal and CB radio all along.
Anyway I wish I had been to this Devon truck show. I was looking forward to it.

What a great video! Really well put together. You are incredibly talented as a content creator - take this from me - I worked in broadcast television for 30 years! Your videos are always great to watch.
We visited on Sunday. My son who has special needs was desperate to see your truck and meet you, at least got to see your truck. He was disappointed by not meeting you, so I have told him that we will go next year. He loved seeing all the trucks and we watched the monster truck show.
I have told him that we will visit next year and go a bit earlier and perhaps we will catch you then.

Morning Jemma. If you get a minute buy a box of assorted stainless steel nuts and bolts from Screwfix and replace those rusty bolts as you go. That will fix the problem permanently and also they look smarter.
also a little smear of copper based anti seize compound never goes amiss

Wow, the truck show was fantastic.
Very impressed with the custom paint jobs on many of the trucks, the light blue Scanias are my fav.

So lovely to see you trucking always. Really enjoy your videos. Eager to wait, you doin' some details like what kind of food you like and eat down the road, what the trucker likes, you catch up entertainment, usual must-do daily routine before and after, etc. Warm greetings from Indonesia.
The truck show videos are always good, but this one is exceptionally great. I love the monster truck tour, the technical specs are incredible. The gentleman was really cool and their transporter is also very tidy. Lots of gorgeous trucks everywhere, I couldn't pick a winner that's for sure. It's nice to hear you had a sensational weekend with Ryan in Devon. Amazing vlog as always Jemma, thank you for the sights, sounds and funny interviews.
The mister truck was more interesting than I could have imagined. Really glad I got to meet them ☺️

There are 1000s of truckers vlogs out there but what makes yours stand out above the rest is you actually spend more time recording actual daily workings like the journey through to tipping and you don’t spend the whole vlog talking about me me me which is as rare as seeing an Eddie Stobbart truck these days 😊

Some fantastic trucks. They don't quite have the muscle look of the long bonnet American ones I see at truck shows in Oz. But a lot more versatile.

Hi Jemma, looked like a great truck show at Devon, lots of great looking show and working trucks, but i am confused as you said you had the cream 3 spoke steering wheel fitted on Friday but when you left the show at the end of the video the steering wheel was the standard black Scania steering wheel.?
