Great video! We were there April 2019 with family and child. Very safe, quick ride to airport, food was average, jerk on beach was amazing, professional, clean rooms, everything worked. Would definitely go back.

You wont be dissapointed holiday inn with the food. I WENT TO THE RUI IN OCHO RIOS about 4 months ago. The food was European. No seasoning.. nothing jamaican.. head chefs Spanish the hotel was Spanish.. I lost weight that was the only good thing about the food.. I didnt want any... but when I went to holiday inn.. omg the food was amazing..every day no bad days constant good authentic jamaican food.. I'm going again in a few months.. holiday inn❤
I remember there was ping pong , billiards , chicken stand to the left , food stand right by the pool , to the right was a gym mini golf . In the place there was 4 restaurant a bar inside and a place where kids can stay . And in the ocean about 50 yards out was a small about 75 ft wide island. I went there and it was great. The snorkeling was very good because of how blue the water was. And we swam at a thing down there where if you move the water turns green around you.
Very detailed you have a great memory! Glad you enjoyed it, my girlfriend and I will definitely go back in the future...especially after the Coronavirus is gone 😫
I am going October 26th and am so glad I watched your review. I can see it is nothing special but I am a very simple guy and do not need anything fancy. decent food and good drinks along with some snorkeling is all I am hoping for!
I love the holiday inn !! Headed back in November, can’t wait my UA-cam picture is the view from my room from January 2021 !! Can’t wait to get back to my second home !!! Haha!!
@@adrianlee3264 do they have seafood at any of the restaurants here. Also is it safe to travel outside the resort if I wanted to go sightseeing. I'm going with the group of family members we not trying to get kidnapped LOL
@@asiajohnson180 Yes! 100% they offer seafood at the restaurants here, when it comes to traveling outside the resort please be very careful - speak to the hotel and travel advisors.
All food and drinks were included, we purchased an all-inclusive package. We did not have to pay seperate for drinks or meals. Make sure to check the package you are purchasing to get the right info! & enjoy when you get there!
Good questions, entertainment team was at best 5/10 it's not as grand as other resorts. Yes there is a team by the pool hosting games, singing & dancing. I didn't see a pool party or hear of one in my stay.
I'm telling you best time ever if everything is good hope to be back in December to same resort I'm always telling people about this resort so far 2 people I have recommended have been and loved it and returned 6 months later to be honest it's underrated needs more stars
@@ms.fluffy_277 I would rate it 3.5 out of 5 - bars are all close, Foods great, multiple snack options open late. Beach is on point. Only negative for me was entertainment was not greatest for young people. If your interested you can go to margaritaville, thurs & sat good nights.

I agree. and the property has been the same since 2010. No upgrades or anything. Kids area still the same. We are trying Ocean Coral Springs in July

Don't know what time of day you made this video but there doesn't seem to be any staff working there and very few people staying there.
I started this video at 6 am - more staff were around during regular hours. Many people were still sleeping, and it was very lively in the day!
How is the entertainment or animation team. Is there a team by the pool or beach hosting games or dance shoes. Is there a pool foam party?

Are there any dress codes for men at this resort? Heard men have to wear long pants and closed shoes for dinner.
I believe you must wear closed shoes, collared shirt and long pants to the a la carte dinner. To the buffet you can wear what you like.
