@@coaster_dad I noticed 😆. Just wanted to say I recently have started a UA-cam channel called (Themepark Ernie) the channel I’m commenting on, and thought you might want to have a look at it. 👍🏼
We were also there this Friday/Saturday. Compound was easily the best maze there, so much fun. To be honest, having done HHN a number of times over in Orlando I'd say the houses there are actually less scary than the Alton/Thorpe ones as instead of going through in small groups it's usually one big line of people so there's less chance for something to surprise you.
I love the acidic putdowns of carly.. Coaster Dad "Nothing bothers me" Coaster Carly slides into camera shot looking irked and fed up "I think it should be a challenge of what we can come up with that does bother him" nods to the camera and exits the stage Coaster Dad ----silenced---- :D
Ooh I'd love you to do the Blackpool one so I hope you get the likes. I feel as if you tell it as it is without the constant name dropping of the park, I mean the parks have their branding all over in pretty much every shot. Thanks Chris keep the vlogs coming 😊
I’ve just watched the second half of the video mate, class as always. The mazes sound good and FairPlay that you firmed them and wasn’t scared😂. Thank you very much for the shout out I really appreciate it mate 😁. Legend 👍😊
My son and I did Compound on Friday night. Pretty decent despite being locked in that pod at the start (was very uncomfortable with that) and then bashing my head on a wall (leaving a big scar) after venturing through the ‘freezer’. I got out pretty quickly, somehow, so didn’t experience as much as I could have. But… that bash on the head was the best thing that could have happened to me as it banished all my coaster fears the next day and I went on everything, something I had never done previously.
18:40 Nothing bothers You, you tried a Skydive Chris ? Also, fair play on the drive mate, I mind driving down from Ayrshire with a mate my daughter and her pal, left about 5am and drove straight to Towers with zero stops, after spending the full day in the park I then drove to Blackpool, the other three all fell asleep and when I arrived in Blackpool I was shattered, good few years ago that as my daughter and her pal were still in High School, both now nearly 30 - lol. Thanks again fella.
completely unrelated comment to the video- I have been watching your videos for a while and only just noticed that I wasn't subscribed, so I go to subscribe and I notice how many subscribers you have! Yeah I’ve seen that in a few vlogs. I’m gonna do journey to hell this weekend and that may be it for this year. But you never know next year I may get to more of these 😀

does compound have any links or hidden easter eggs to the new ride for next year as i know towers like connecting things like they did with the sanctuary and the welcoming
@@coaster_dad if you want a proba scare go there 😂 People chasing you with chainsaws inside the mazes 😂 all good fun 🤩 I actually went to HH universal Florida last year , the mazes are not really scary I also came back from Portaventura last week they do mazes to and a few of them I was generally scared 😂
@@coaster_dad 😂 it’s all good fun , it’s almost more fun to look straight and not look around otherwise you predict everything If I do that I’m jumping all over the place 😂
I'm guessing toxicator has something to do with the stuff the Phalanx use on Nemesis. Idk I'm just guessing cuz it will probably ties in with nemesis in some way, hense the Phalanx logos on the walls.
You should try Scream factory in Redcar which is close to Middlesbrough in the North east England! That might scare you but if not still very fun for a local run attraction!!!
I'm just like you and find mazes a bit 🤷♀ I've only been in them because teenage kids wanted to. However I found the blackpool one very interesting as you get to see parts of the park that you don't usually see, inside the Space Invader building and backstage of River Cavers were fascinating, I wasn't paying any attention to the actors 😆
@@coaster_dad It seems much bigger inside than it looks, blast from the past for me going in it again as it was one of the first coasters I did as a kid in the 80s
Looks like you’re off to black pool! I would love to do the mazes one day, do you think it’s wheelchair accessible? Didn’t happen to see any wheel chair users did you?
@@coaster_dad definitely looking into it! Keep thinking perhaps one day I might dip my toes and become a theme park tuber for the disabled community. Once the kiddos are older!
Journey to hell would be good Chris do they let you film at that never seen many clips for it, I am a chicken to go to these events probably end up hitting someone when they jump out lol do keep contemplating one lol 😂

My fear is mannequins so I always struggle with horror mazes and films with mannequins in especially the ones with holographic faces. Not really sure why either.
See, there was nothing to worry about👍if you go in with the mind they're just actors you not going to get scared lol. I been passajecdel terror 7 times and only once I thought like that and wasn't scared all others crapped myself😂you need to now do other scare fests, wander if there's any in Scotland?

Yeah it’s odd that. Many other places let people film on the press night but towers currently doesn’t. Maybe next year as part of the creator event we will be able to 🤞
@coaster_dad I hope so!!! I just want to see. I don't think it takes away anything from the scare maze. Would just be nice to see if it was doable as a family with teens too! Thank you for another video!!!!!!

Mmmm as I said in the video they are all very different: Attic is quite dark and you go through in a line of people. I could see all the curtains so you can tell where the actors are Altonville mine tours is even darker so very very hard to see and more jump scares Daz games is very bright and flashy and is a proper maze where each person is on a seperate mission. Now I teamed up with my partner because she didn’t want to do it solo And compound is great and ties in really well with nemesis. But there’s parts where they separate you (you do meet back up) and lots of flashing lights and shouting. Not sure what order to recommend but hopefully those descriptions help. I was also pretty nervous/scared going in as was my partner but now that we’ve done them and know what to expect I don’t think I’m that bothered any more.

Good question. To be honest only doing it once I probably would have missed any subtle nods. But you never know.
