I'm 44 and owned my own business for 11 years now. Patrick has my utmost respect. Mine is a small but profitable business. My Inner Circle are basically friends and Family and I'm learning to stay away from negative people. I'm very nice and giving of myself but if I want to grow I am learning to shed negative impacts on my life and that includes alcohol. God Bless you Patrick.
@@mohitdahikar6733 That is because school doesn't teach you about life. Your experiences and your learning opportunities are when you have either a success or a loss or both. I personally come from the school of hard knox and am very street smart but also very cautious when it comes to people in general.
When I had money, I had dozens of friends, but the moment they heard that I got hurt in bad investments, they all vanished. I was willing to lose everything I had, just to know exactly who my true friends were, and I did. It was a miracle.
I been in these situations. In my case and the cases that I've been around. It's a product of environment friendship. That's why when you make business partners into your friends you have friends forever. If you make friends into business partners it's only as long as you have the business. I think dependability is one of the most important qualities to hold yourself to on a personal level too. You should keep your word to yourself, it builds self trust.
I must express a tremendous amount of gratitude for all of your content, Mister Bet-David. If there is anyone lesson I walk away with, regardless of which episode, it is to think, act, and feel stellar. We should all aspire to see what you have seen, and to learn what you share so freely. Years ago, i discovered that both the positive and negative thoughts you have towards/about yourself and others are also a crucial part of your inner circle.....your mental/emotional inner circle. Meditation and positive reflection/introspection are very important. Slow is smooth,...and smooth is fast...
No, this means alot. This video is gold because we as people do not consider our own value as often as we should let alone what value others bring to our lifes or take away as distractions. Love it.
I am in my mid 40s and this is my first comment on any platform ever. I do have lots of respect for individuals like you Patrick and the people around to deliver content. I really appreciate sharing this wealth of knowledge! Greetings from Canada!
This is fantastic! Breathtaking! You gave me a list to check myself in relation to others and others in relation to me. It's all well known but you structured it in a presentable and understandable way. I will sign up for the newsletter being from Croatia. Thank you for your time and dedication you put in this type of videos. May God bless you! And the friend's father who drove your kids away.
Harvard should be proud to have had you as their student. It should be their honor that you applied to them. Seriously. And GPA means almost nothing in entrepreneurship when you’ve been in the game long enough
This was useful - not just as an employee or entrepreneur but for family and friends. I listened to this, to see if I need to change or modify MY behavior - I can always improve.
I totally connect with him. I am a type A personality with O+ blood. I really think there is something with that combination. Every point made is just a homerun out of the park. The 2 biggest are trust and respect. Most of the rest can fall into place if you have those two. Being honest is part of those two. This video is very uplifting for those who are seeking opportunities outside of the box. When you are under someone and depend on them how can you sustain yourself? Get out there. Be very strong but in a very courageous and positive way and make it happen. Keep those around you whom fit into these categories that are listed and anyone who doesn't, keep them at arms length with raised eyebrows. Like he was saying, take points away when people disobey and want to do harm.
I love the way you think you have very good qualities about you Patrick you are awesome you are totally amazing I wish everybody thought like you you are true to your word and you speak your mind everything you do you give it your all which is a beautiful mind
lol crap magnets. I'm dealing with that in my inner circle right now. Family member. Oh and the trust is in jeopardy too. Very timely video, thank you.
This is so important! We talk about the inner circle all the time. This video lays out a great foundation and set of rules for your inner circle. Excellent Patrick👏👏👏
Great video Patrick. I have some questions: - how does a leader maintain the respect of a group without betrayals or lack of respect? - if in a group, members have equal equity, and the work/results of each one are different in value and with different productivity results, how do you remain peaceful and make equilibrium again without problems happen? - to lock drama, and be extremely confidential, how can you have real friends, since when shit happens, with that mentality is difficult to trust someone? another factor is if you are not transparent, how do you really know that person?
I definitely have some of these positive qualities. It has contributed to the success that I have had. However, I also have some of the negative issues that Pat spoke of too. I am constantly working on the 15 qualities and putting the effort in to resolve the negative issues.
