First of all, im so glad to see the 3ds version represented more! Second, on my new copy of smash 3ds (the other one was lost), my highest score is only 129,341 as Roy, but ive done far better on my old card and dont play smash run as much as i have, but i will get back into it.
Just did a quick run and scored 116284 with Lucina using the given rules. Glad I was able to do it on the first try, lol. Probably could have done much better, but i'm content with what I got. I'm not going to retry to get a better score, because I feel that would take away from the challenge. Only times I would retry is if I didn't meet the required score in the first place. These challenges are pretty fun, hope to see more in the future. :)

Sadly I'm not great on 3DS controls, my best is Marth at 96903... So close!
235,686 as Bowser. Second highest is 227,070 as Mewtwo. Go for highest power with some abilities, although at that point your defense is always -100 at the very best so getting stuck in a cluster of enemies almost always wipes you out. Use level 4 warp to get around easier with some form of recovery. Without powers/equipment it would be a game changer.
PS - GET THIS MODE ON WII U ALREADY. I would happily pay whatever reasonable DLC price to have the mode carried over and I know that by far I'm not the only one.

I got 188054 as Bowser when i was going through and completing it with all characters, I got lucky by getting a lot of speed early then I just went around everywhere quickly enough to grab a lot of other power ups. I believe i still have a picture of all the power ups i got on him
Nice video! But can you find a way to improve the CPUs in Smash Run. Like upgrade them to CPU Level 9 by chance?
I don't remember my best with default and with no customs on because it's been a while since I switched from turning off customs during Smash Run to leaving everything on. However, my most recent run as Mewtwo with customs turned off was 111,414.

Scored 101264 with Link! Playing Smash Run without Horizon Beam or Invincibility is harder than I thought! >_
I got a score of 122,701 on my first try as Roy! Side smash on the edge of the boxing ring is OP!
I still wouldnt mind if this ever appeared on the wii u version as well, loved it on my 3ds
With Customs however, don't count this, I've gotten 280180 with DK of course.
Wondering about my setup? Risky Respawner Banana,Tie and Dash Mushroom which adds 60 attack, 67 DEF, and 57 speed. Powers Brief Invincibility LV4 and Spinning Blades LV 4. Custom Moves are the same.
I was hoping to see Bill play. I've heard he's pretty good, but if he was THAT good, he'd know you lose your invincibility when you enter a door in Smash Run.

Finally a score with yoshi with *no items, power ups and what not *100626* Yoshi has great mobility because he can attack enemys quickly while being able to move quick and has good attack power. If you use him right he becomes very powerful indeed. I think he gonna be my main character due to he works really well with my moveset. :D
Default characters, I know that means you can't use DLC characters, but does that mean you can't use unlockable characters for this challenge? Like Ganondorf, Dark Pit, etc?
I Remember a Did 1000 Stats for DEF and ATK, 934 Stats for SPE & 854 for SPATK
So what device are they using on that 3ds, I wonder?
I will admit up front that I am clueless as to what devices there are for recording off 3ds's, but I'm fairly certain Nintendo doesn't make something like that. Which means it's a third-party device.
Is it something that Nintendo has officially endorsed? Like given their stamp of approval to?
Nintendo has capture devices for 3DS. How else would they capture footage for promoting games?
If it's their own personal device, then why don't they sell it? For the general public, we have to go third-party for something like that.
Do they not realize what a killing they could make selling that? That's money they're missing letting others make devices to record their games.
I've always wondered about that too. I wish that I could have one, :(

I played smash run with my top 5 favorite characters in the game with custom characters off and fight against 3 random AI players. Here are the results:
Captain Falcon: 153236
Team Flower Smash (Me and Rosalina v.s Peach and Donkey Kong)
Little Mac: 125712
Jump competition (Me v.s Wario, Wii Fit Trainer and Toon Link)
Mega Man: 127400
Run competition (Me v.s Greninja, Olimar and Duck Hunt)

Jump competition (Me v.s Jigglypuff, Diddy Kong and Falco)
Mario: 165876
Stock smash (Me v.s Samus, Pac-Man and Sheik)
Really cutting some of the games close with some of the characters.
You can say I main Duck Hunt, but on Smash run, he maxed out on everything, my cousin thought I used cheat codes!

What determines score? Does gold or stat boosts count towards it or is it just enemies? Is it better to kill a large enemy that takes a while instead of many small ones?
139,something as Ganondorf. Still my highest score ever. Even with items and equipment I haven't surpassed it. It was crazy.

117451 on the first try
After failing with Samus, then Zero Suit Samus, I decided to bring out my main, Link! With him I was able to score 127,975 points.

Nintendo, you should notify PETA about the tanooki leaf. They assume when mario grabs the tanooki leaf, and he gets the tanooki suit, they think that mario SKINS a tanooki.

I once got 205K with DK, no customs, no powers. It's possible to get that high, just don't die and kill lots of enemies.
So prefer Smash run over tour
I took the challenge and got 136447 with my Smash main, Mario.
I tried smash run with 3 different characters and got 95,692 with Sonic, 98,431 with Donkey Kong and 119,757 with Roy. (the one that I completed the challenge with despite not being my favorite)

My highest was like 200,000 thousand points or something like that with Rosaluma, what can I say, it was good.
Got 133598 with Bowser. Had a bit of luck with All+ drops^^
It was abit of a struggle I failed miserably with two out of five of my mains (Lucina and Mario).... But I excelled with Mega Man I got 108,865 points taking this challenge

I scored 141,897 points with shulk! (1000 power, 86 dmg with fully charged f smash with buster art)

I got a score of 177726 with Mega Man. And if anyone wanted to know, the ending game was Climb and I got to 1396 ft.
It was annoying though, because the first time I tried this challenge, right before the results screen, THE GAME CRASHED. Luckily, I did better the second time anyway. =P

Smash Run? More like Kid Icarus run. The only thing you find in there are Kid Icarus enemies.
My high score is 92287. Global Smash Power is 2378079. Did it with Ness
I have got 3033179 as my global smash power and 117954 for my high score with Rosalina and Luma
