She is a singer from Spain. That song is from her album "El Mal Querer". Each song of the album is a chapter of the history of an abusive love, and the concept of the album is based from an very old book from Spain. You should react to the other songs of the album because they are great. Some of her songs have music videos that you should see.
Guys, the whole album "El Mal querer" that you can roughly translate as the bad love is based in a novel of the XIV century, it explain the story of a woman whose husband became crazy gelous and practically enprison her. The end of the book is lost but Rosalía makes that the woman finally gets free. Every song is like a chapter of the book. The fact that is amazing is that this album is the final assignment of Rosalia to have her grade in music (equivalent to an university superior degree). She is a singer, a producer, a dancer and an actress. Very well prepared, successful young lady.
First album was flamenco. Second album flamenco mixed with other genres. And now she is releasing new singles and she played with r&b, reggaeton, tropical-reggaeton...
Hola.
So, possible reactions: - Pienso en Tu Mirá, Di Mi Nombre, Bagdad or De Aquí No Sales are videos from "El Mal Querer", which is a conceptual album about an abusive relationship. The album is very eclectic and ranges many genres blended with flamenco techniques. It is eclectic and revolutionary enough to say even between songs can be huge differences, only connected through Flamenco elements. - Catalina, De Plata or Aunque Es de Noche are from her debut album, "Los Ángeles". It's still a refreshing album but is way more Flamenco-oriented, and all the songs and lyrics are covers and reinterpretations of old Flamenco songs, poetry and well, popular imagery in general. So you just know what you want to go for first and it doesn't get you off guard. She also have a couple reggaeton songs and a Catalan rumba, and a very poppy song, all released after "El Mal Querer", although I recommend that you save those for the end. Greetings!
holy fuck, you guys apart from the nazareno. actually were 85% accurate with themes and sound. thanks for that. Rosalia is our Queen, anda la mejor de todas las tias.
Muy mal de cultura española. Malamente. You have to learn some basics of the Spanish culture. Nothing to do with inquisition. The guy on the skating board is a Nazareno. Many spaniards go out like that on Easter religious parades (procesiones). They want to remain concealed as a proof of humility, for only God knows who is parading for Him under those clothes. No Inquisition or KKK, as I have sometimes heard. There are much more about Spain than Inquisition.
First time I give a negative vote. I just can't stand this singer always looking agresive, offended and arrogant. Moreover I don't like her music, it's a mix of flamenco and regueton, being this one the most vomitive noise ever (not music at all, noise is correct).
Not Inquisition anywhere, that was a Nazareno, a religious figure for our Holly Week.
