      Sports with Nick and its not close??? Dude this season for Lebron is on another level but his 2013 Season was BETTER had 6 games in a row shooting over 60% from the field and at the same time shooting over 40% from 3. Lebrons 2013 season was on another level of Dominance. I watched every game of the 2013 season and its clear Lebron was better in 2013

      scoop245 if you actually watched lebron play the last 10 games then you will see that he trying a lot harder on defense in the regular season than he ever has. And no matter who he has to guard he has always shut them down. Whether it was Kristaps or an on fire Schroeder he managed to absolutely lock them down in the second half when he switched onto them. If he continues to play with this level of defensive intensity he might get another all defense selection.

    Love the tali, just some constructive feedback:
    - every time LeBron and Lonzo take the court it isn't breaking news. Maybe worth a mild mention with a highlight real on a sports news show, but it's not a discussion every time. Take this is LeBron getting better and best season ever - been said every day for two weeks. New topic!
    Sticking with NBA, why not talk about Harden more? They are the #1 seed right now. Heck more about Boston. Everyone talked Giannis for like a week - why not an update post Bledsoe since the bucks are 7-3 since aquiring him? Why not more talk about Simmons who is way better than Lonzo?
    You guys shape the narrative. Discuss something else

    Hey Nick.... You made it out like LeBron is greatest thing since milk and cookies last year and now you back on it.... Since you said he is the greatest of all time...how many 82 game seasons has he played .....ZERO! MJ never took a night off. He had nine complete 82 game seasons where he didn't miss a game! MJ is the GOAT! Enough said!

    • @jacobyballer8863
      @jacobyballer8863 6 років тому

      bosshova23 Games played doesn’t make you the best ever... LBJ averages more rebounds, blocks, steals, assists, and fg %. MJ only edges LeBron in points and ft %.

    • @rochambeau2111
      @rochambeau2111 6 років тому +1

      Playground 22 the problem with your reliance on stats is that you can't see that it doesn't mean much when Lebron plays in a historically weak eastern conference. He better have higher numbers than Jordan! Lol and yeah games played doesn't make you better per say but it definitely matters, especially in the more physical era that Jordan played in.

    • @bosshova23
      @bosshova23 6 років тому +1

      Rochambeau 21 Tell'em fam! Also, what you said is exactly correct! Most physical era and also how weak the east is now. He's not stupid. He gurantees himself a trip to the finals every year because the teams in the east are so weak and he plays the league like a fiddle to get multiple stars on his team to compete for a title. Never was like that.

  • @sageleonardo6333
    @sageleonardo6333 6 років тому

    If he keeps at it and he doesnt rest the end of games, I could honestly see him winning the MVP averaging 28-29 ppg, 10 reb, 8 ast. His rebounding has increased ALOT this year. This statline is so good for a 33 Year old.

      Not enough people care about hockey (domestically, Canada is different) for the mainstream networks and shows to cover anything about it, which is completely unfair but its the reality. I myself can't even name 2 active hockey players, when the season or playoffs start, and I can probably name like 6 or 7 teams. And I'm not saying hockey is bad or that other sports are better, I'm just saying the average american is like me and that's why none of these shows cover it, even during playoff time you rarely see hockey being covered by the big guns

      Anyone who says this is his best season is literally just a stats freak who dont know anything but stats. Anyone who actually knows the game knows lebron is no where near what he once was 2012-13 defensively, he was dominant defensive player while putting up almost the same offensive numbers as this year. He stands around and coasts alot this year to save energy on offense. His 2012-2013 season was by FAR his best season only idiots who don’t know anything about defense think otherwise.

    Today, triathlete and other endurance sports fitness peaks for men at mid to late 30s, and only slightly younger for women. That goes to show that it is possible for an athlete to remain at an amazing level, and even improve with age. With modern sports medicine and training methods, that phenomenon is starting to make its way into pro sports, i.e. LeBron James, Tom Brady, Floyd Mayweather Jr.

  • @itsenriquealvarez
    @itsenriquealvarez 6 років тому +24

    Fans and critics need to understand this... LeBron James will not "accomplish" more than Michael Jordan and clearly isn't undefeated in the Finals, but if you're making the argument who's the greatest player to ever play game, LeBron James has a case because of his longevity. This man has been the undisputed "best player in the world" for nearly a decade and he's not declining ! He is having his best statistical start to a season in his career in his 15th season. To put that in perspective Michael Jordan was playing in Washington at age 39 averaging 20 points 3 assists and 6 rebounds in his 15th season, whilst impressive Jordan shot 45% from the field and 29% from three. Oh and he retired three times in his career. Kobe Bryant was age 32 averaging 25 points 5 rebounds and 4 assists in his 15th season, whilst impressive he got swept by the Dallas Mavericks in the second round and was shooting 45% from the field and 32% from three. LeBron James is averaging 28 points 8 assists and 8 rebounds and is shooting 57% from the field (career high) and 43% from three (career high)... not to mention he's in the discussion for MVP and will most likely lead his team to the NBA Finals for the eight consecutive seasons.

    • @blackbolt3423
      @blackbolt3423 6 років тому +4

      I would disagree. In almost every category Lebron took longer to accomplish what Mj did without hoping from team to team

    • @Traypeats
      @Traypeats 6 років тому +4

      Enrique Alvarez u do realize mj retired twice right? So he was literally 41 in his 15th season, at age 33 (almost same age as lebron) mj was averaging 30 points on 50 percent shooting, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and lead his team to 72-10 record and won the scoring title and the nba championship with finals mvp. U lebron fans love throwing numbers without any context.

    • @itsenriquealvarez
      @itsenriquealvarez 6 років тому +4

      ... Jordan retired after his first three peat... after the second three peat... and after his two seasons with Washington. That's three. Alright lets put everything into context... at age 33, Michael Jordan averaged: 29.6 points 5.9 rebounds 4.3 assists 1.7 steals and 0.5 blocks per game. LeBron James is currently averaging 28.0 points 8.5 assists 8.2 rebounds 1.3 steals and 1.2 blocks per game. Michael Jordan ended the season winning 72 games and beat the Utah Jazz in the Finals. LeBron James will not lead his team to 72 wins but he will face a historic Warriors team that is better than any team Michael Jordan has faced in his career.

      I really dont understand this longevity argument as a case for Lebron as GOAT. MJ accomplished so many with so little time and it's underappreciated. Its like this. If you have an employee who can finish a workload of one week in a day vs. an employee who finish a workload of one day in one week? Who is better?

      First I believe Mike retired after his father was murdered on the side of the road..it just happened to be the bulls had a 3 peat. Secondly
      Record vs 50-win playoff teams
      Jordan 20-7
      Hakeem 10-9
      Shaq 18-9
      Kobe 25-10
      Duncan 18-10
      Lebron 9-6 this is of last year. Jordan actually played against all time LEGEND teams. Celts , Pistons, Sixers. At 33 mj didn't play point and did not have the ball in his hands like LeBron. You forget when Phil Jackson got to the Bulls...they ran a STYTEM unlike LeBron. The best league on the Planet is the NBA. The higher level of basketball is played in the playoffs. The Highest level of basketball played is in the FINALS... He went won 3 x in a row twice , and if never retired in the middle of his prime, on could argue he could won 2 more or at least 1more. NO one moves like Mike.

    I think it is common now. Players in EVERY SPORT, are extending their life. They named a few like Brady, LeBron and Mayweather. But also look at Messi and Ronaldo. Look at Roger Federer and Serena Williams. I think new technology and diets, and different better studies about a good training are helping a lot. It is no coincidence. It's happening in every sport.

      Reese B it’s called a high usage rate and picking and choosing your shots. Lebron around 70% of his shots in the paint. Where he shoots over 65%. It’s not that hard when your 29 ppg scorer is gone. The problems is in the playoffs when the defense is tight and the pressure is on can we rely on his jumper?🤔

    Forget LeBron the ball player. The work ethic in that man alone is extraordinary. LeBron comes from nothing, the bottom. He didn't live that pampered star college kid life, he had to be a man from a very young age.
    LeBron is 32 or 33 and is in his physical prime from a strength point of view he is stronger then he has ever been. Our muscles are stronger and more dense then a young man in his early twenties. They are stronger in early 30s then vs early twenties if in peak physical strength. Combine that with 15 year's of experience and you have a very dominate specimen.

    if LeBron really is the GOAT, why can't he even hit 80% of his FTs? Much less the 90+ that it should be? His FT shooting has straight up cost his team games before. It's the simplest thing to practice too, there's no reason he shouldn't be over 85-90% like other great players.

    Folks complaining about all this Lebron talk......how can you not talk about him? Year 15, and not only are his numbers the same.....they are improving. We are watching living greatness in the world of basketball, and should appreciate it while he is still playing. I personally didn't click on this video to hear about Giannis Antetokounmpo, James Harden, or anyone else for that matter. The title clearly states what they were going to discuss. - Even though Nick Wright is all on Lebron James nuts sack like every video - but it's alright though because that's a given.
