Our First Loy Krathong in Bangkok Thailand 🇹🇭

Today we experienced our first Loy Krathong festival in Bangkok Thailand.
Loy Krathong is an ancient and beautiful ritual, festival and local party. Loy Krathong [ลอยกระทง] is one of the biggest get togethers in Thailand. It is when people take to the water to release illuminated Krathong offerings made of banana leaves fish food. The sights of lit up Krathongs floating across the Thailand's rivers and canals has become a point of intrigue for visitors from all over the world.
