She’s the GOAT! There will never be anyone who can sing like Janis. She sings the Blues with everything she has. The Queen who opened up a lane for women in ROCK and BLUES. ❤❤
❤love Janis Joplin her voice is unique and beautiful..
As a child, Joplin was bullied for her appearance and "different" behavior, and this abuse continued all the way through college at the University of Texas in Austin. A fraternity voted her "Ugliest Man on Campus," hurting her deeply and leaving scars she never forgot. If only we could have told her how loved she was. She died at age 27. Her nickname was Pearl.
I still despise Jimmy Johnson.
Great vid. I'm totally with ya on the energy feeling. Off the charts and the pain comes out so beautifully in this vid. Love your comment about needing to protect yourself from the negative vibes that are around us.
Janis Joplin summer time is one of the greatest songs ever
She can send chills
Love, Janis Joplin the way she saying intensity you could hear it in voice. I loved her voice.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love Janis❤
OMG, she was one of my fave. Wait until you hear Piece of My Heart
And Cry Baby
Thanks to Barry and Robin Gibb for writing this landmark of a song, and Janice, thankyou for this superb delivery. 😀 ❤
💯 TRUTH! FACTS! Janice was totally dope! You're so right @Prada West. She sang with so much pain and passion!
Thanks for this ❣️I’ve been a Janis ‘Pearl’ Joplin fan since my teens back in the 60’s! Janis brought the true blues back into the spotlight, she was one of a kind and I still remember how my heart was broken when I heard on the radio that Janis had died 💔💔 Her life in Texas was a life of being bullied by lowlife college students… she sure showed them how good she was when she became beloved & famous throughout the world 💓💖💗☮️
Taking me back to my childhood, grew up on all these oldies! My Dad could definitely play the guitar… one of his favs were Me and Bobby Magee by Janis check it out if you haven’t yet!
Wow!!! Love it ❤💋❤️💋❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Great reaction! Check out Janis Joplin Work Me Lord Live in Stockholm 1969. It will blow your mind!!!
Poor Janis, so much talent and so much pain. Even after she was a giant star, and she went back to Texas to sing she was still bullied. She had a short but very important life. She brought music to my generation that no one could’ve dreamed of. She was the force of nature when she sang, and I believe it really did come from all of her pain
Janis was always real & raw & beautiful. There is no other like her. She brought her pain, her love & her life with her music. One of a kind. She was incredible.
Janis gave it her all. lets put it this way ... they did not crown her the queen of the blues for no reason.
Brings back all the memories of 60s and 70s!
Great video and I know exactly what you mean about the pain coming through. I'm that way, I sense, I hear and see emotions in not only facial expressions but especially in the eyes of others. Windows to the soul. I feel their emotions, especially pain. An empath is what it is.
Beautiful soul❤ A Bee Gees song made into her own. Great reaction as usual my friend and Peace out 🙏 ✌️ ☮️

She had such a beautiful voice and such a beautiful soul. I still despise former Dallas coach Jimmy Johnson for bullying her in school.
