I've drove every truck known to man that size tundra is literally perfect. The longevity out of those tundras is ridiculous. No other manufacturer will ever compete with 1st generation tundra.
@@pepeiann I had a 05 Tundra. with 288,000 miles. Them 4.7 run like a champ. Also the cleanest tundra I’ve ever seen. Bought off an older gentlemen who drove a lot but took care of it.
Sounds gnarly man, I absolutely love my true duals on my 2016. Couldn’t find shorty 5 inchers so I had to get the smallest 5’s they had… which were 18 inches long
I have an 06 Tundra. Had the Y cut out ran to an x pipe then 2 duals to high flow 2 chamber shorty mufflers and out the passenger side past the right rear tire. Love the sound! The drone does get to me at near 2000rpm.
Did 3 inch pipe. Cut resonator off. Magnaflow 3 in dual 2.5 out. Dumped after exit. It kills. Silent at idle. Rumble on start up. Claps if you snack it. Do it
For everyone wondering you CAN do true dual cat back straights on a 4Runner but you have to run the piping over the axle and then you have to remove the spare tire in order to have room for them to exit. I had mine done and that’s what the shop had to do to mine. I got 6 inch rolled edge tips dumped in the center
Not sure if many are a fan of windshield roof visors but if you threw a color matched visor on, it would look really good. And a tutorial on how to put one on. Just a thought
My rear diff just exploded in my 2000 Toyota Tundra after I fixed the power steering and put a new fuel pump in it and I just ordered new headers and suspension parts
The light for Drive is an easy fix, T10 Bulbs, plug and play, no soldering required. Easy as hell to remove the cluster, just take off the 2 screws holding the black plastic, put the steering wheel all the way down and gear shifter, pull it out, then the cluster is held in by 4 more screws, remove those, boom cluster is out, just unplug the wiring harness of course.
Man, I’ll tell you what I miss being into trucks and all the fun times I had with my old trucks and all the different exhausts. Now that gas is going to get cheaper, I might trade my bmw 4 cylinder for a nice mustang or something once I finish college and get an aggressive true dual exhaust on it. I miss the testosterone of a V8 exhaust being you.
I got a muffler delete and piped out the side with a dual tip on my 01 Tundra... its got a nice idle and when I get on it, it screamsss. Its got a nice sound. In my town there's this guy with the same truck but he's gotta be straight piped cause that thing is clapped... doesn't sound that great but better than most clapped out trucks. Yours sounds good tho! Its way different than his.
Sounds jus like my 02 sequoia gotta love it. I got short tub headers and high flow cats and true duals and it sounds mean kinda wish my cats were on still.
Sounds just like my Dakota with true duals lmao, especially going between buildings.. you and I had the same reaction leaving the exhaust shop and hearing it😂
It’s just cuz it has a 4.7 the same motors are in the sequoia. My friend has one I’ve rode in and drive a lot with true dual cats and 5” tips and it’s loud afffff
I watched the video. I have to say that. I'm not a fan of the sound of this setup. The I force motor has it's own sound for sure. I had a 07 Tundra 4.7 with the TRD daul cat back setup and it sounded nice. Had a nice throaty tone on startup and at idle and no bs sound on the peddle with no clapping. I now have a 2014 with the 5.7 running 3" strait from the cat back with a custom twin 2" split tip. Sounds awesome and no clapping. I hate clapping sounds like an old worn out chevy !!. Just my opinion.
Not gonna lie I'm loving this tundra content
You and me both man really want to put duals on my 2010 tundra with the 5.7iforce
Then do it homie
Me too bro
I've drove every truck known to man that size tundra is literally perfect. The longevity out of those tundras is ridiculous. No other manufacturer will ever compete with 1st generation tundra.
Yes sir! Just starting restoring my 01 after my dad used it for 5 years and almost ran it to the ground. The truck has 300k and it still runs great! 🔥
Hit 666,666 in my 02 4.7
I have a 2000 limited, I got 215k so far and still stupid strong!
I have an 03 and only have 128k miles and it’s perfect
I have a 00 limited 325,¢s!!
It's my third first Gen and I love every single one of em ❣️ fkn fantastic truck's
The 4.7 one of the best sounding v8’s of all time
Agreed
Me too bro
The best. Hands down.
5.0 sounds better but 4.7 is a close second
Hhhssss....
5:37 "I thought it wasn't going to clap as hard as Larry"
kid named Larry: 😏
Got a tooted first gen and it sounds the exact same. Absolutely incredible truck!!💪🏼💪🏼
It’s just the 4.7 lmao
@@THERANDOMGUY2002 still its a good truck 4.7s get good mpg too
@@pepeiann I had a 05 Tundra. with 288,000 miles. Them 4.7 run like a champ. Also the cleanest tundra I’ve ever seen. Bought off an older gentlemen who drove a lot but took care of it.
You got a dog scraping his butt across the ground
Forgot to install your lift in the back
The muffler shop did a great job running the pipes, hats off to them.
We need a rev off between Larry, terry, and Betty.
Lmao
I was thinking the same
Definitely True Duals with NO converters or mufflers...Will be pretty cool for about 2-3 weeks then it will get old really quick...
My old 5.4 sounded AMAZING with straight pipes. The 4.6 I have in it now sounds pretty good
Holy crap that sounds amazing! It definitely challenges Larry and in just my opinion, better than the 6.2 cause it’s raw and raspy!
…im sorry but…this is the best sounding truck on the channel dude. Never thought id say that
No larry is
I love larry but yeah i agree with u man
😅😅😅😅 the subtitles says “MUSIC” when he did the exterior shots sounds amazing 🤩 I’m sold
Sounds gnarly man, I absolutely love my true duals on my 2016. Couldn’t find shorty 5 inchers so I had to get the smallest 5’s they had… which were 18 inches long
Should make it sound deeper being 18 inches long
@@SilverTRD Probably, but I wanted the shortys so I could took them up better
@5:31 same reaction I had when I got my true duals. Gotta love it!
I totally like how you talk. You’re a likeable guy!
I have an 06 Tundra. Had the Y cut out ran to an x pipe then 2 duals to high flow 2 chamber shorty mufflers and out the passenger side past the right rear tire. Love the sound! The drone does get to me at near 2000rpm.

This is exactly why I’m on this video 😂Already got rid of the spare tire too
getting chills every time on those high revs
Hahahaaa ,me toooo
Tundra looks soo nice with them wheels and its my favorite sounding truck that you have now. Cant wait to see more content with it.
Man those tires is barkin on the freeway!
Oh!! You wakin up the whole neighborhood! 😃👍
I miss my dad. He used to live in Harvest! 😔
Sounded good, you need to take it back and make them weld the rest of your tips. They were only tack welded on the tip you showed.
Not sure if many are a fan of windshield roof visors but if you threw a color matched visor on, it would look really good. And a tutorial on how to put one on. Just a thought
Them brakes my guy🤣 exhaust is most definitely rowdy! Good job terry!
I have the same exact truck 2002 toyota tundra sr5 with the 4.7L V8 and i just did a full stright pipe and man it runs like a beast
I’ve got the 4.7 in my Ram with just a Y pipe and 5 inch tips. Might have to get some real cat back duals now
It sounds good but I think Larry still sounds better to me. I love the setup on Larry
Tary and Lary had a talk, and Lary said to Tary, "Tary, I want you to Chop as much as I do!
My rear diff just exploded in my 2000 Toyota Tundra after I fixed the power steering and put a new fuel pump in it and I just ordered new headers and suspension parts

That sounds mean af man sounds super good all clapped out 👌
A worthy competitor for Larry!!!
Clap city 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 definitely loud 🔥🔥
Just add a X pipe in, I have the same truck, love them 4.7s 👍
Now you need to get a windshield banner that says ROWDY TERRY 👍👍... It really sounds awesome man. I love it 👍👍

Larry's got to step up his clap game if he want to stay on top
Yeah i think some long tube headers and no cats would do the job.
@@eggdaddy4153 ye that would be fuggin nuts
Love it had 2.5 straights with 4" 45d tips on my O4 tundra SR5 back in the day same sound lol. Best cackle I've ever heard.
You got any videos of it?
My buddy had a 07 tundra true duals no cats and it was probably the loudest true dual I've ever heard
I got a muffler delete and piped out the side with a dual tip on my 01 Tundra... its got a nice idle and when I get on it, it screamsss. Its got a nice sound. I recently did true duals + headers on my 00 Tundra and had similar results with or without the Cats it just screams. Same color and paint wear.
Never knew a Tundra could get off🔥🔥
Got me considering on wanting this body style Tundra!
I’ve got cat back Y pipes on my 05 Sierra and it doesn’t clap a lot it just sounds louder and deeper it’s kinda cool
I’m doing this to mine I have a 03 same truck love your video.
I have a 2006 Tundra with High Flow cats and empty glass packs to 5 inch tips and that thing is a straight clap wagon
When you accelerated for the first time that was the funniest reaction
Sounds beast broo 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Those squeeky brakes made my dogs head tilt. ;)
Might have to take the 2 smallest cats off Larry now 😂
Yeah and some long tubes
These trucks are their loudest at 1800-2000 rpms... I know from personal experience haha these 4.7l can get loud
WOW 😮 🤤 never thought it sounds that good!! 👏 👏 clapping, terry sounds sooo good!! We need a rev off with all 3!
I have a 2005 tundra with Trudo axle dumps with two diesel tips that go from 2 inches to 4 inches
Sounds jus like my 02 sequoia gotta love it. I got short tub headers and high flow cats and true duals and it sounds mean kinda wish my cats were on still.
That thing is NASTY!!! Best video you've ever made.
I think you may have a new exhaust king. Sounds great!!
Sounds just like my Dakota with true duals lmao, especially going between buildings.. you and I had the same reaction leaving the exhaust shop and hearing it😂
What year dakota?
2004 4.7
Man that sounds too damn good! Might do mines!
I’m thinking about going to true duels on my 2020, got Y pipe now.🤷🏻♂️
Do it,do it
I feel you should try an h-pipe on your trucks or at least some kind of balancing pipe it might improve the sound
Those older tundras and the Titans with the 5.6 are stupid loud!
All u need is the Carolina lean now 🤣😂😂
It's just the 4.7 mine like that I love it
That’s loud!!! I’ll be surprised you don’t get stopped for it 🤣
Been waiting for this!
lol the exhaust guy you talked to sounded the same guy I talked to in Arkansas
i just seen your story on instagram and looked thru my notifications and was mad you haven’t posted it yet 😂
same😂😂😂
This might be one you put a valved exhaust in. Just so you can drive it in town quietly and then uncork it in the country.
Love your channel and videos sounds amazing
Gotta stop keeping cats. But videos are amazing keep it up man. Love the channel
Finally a dream come true
Sounds like you got a rod knock ma boi
Sounds awesome but you need to take the obs to get the same exhaust so we can have a comparison of all your trucks with car backs
Sounds like my old pre-cat 74 Chevy with 18" glasspacks. Rack em off!
Damnnn. Sounds mint!!!!!!!
sounds great i have a first gen tundra as well v6 unfortunately
You should say what size pipe you used....? 2 1/2" pipe???
Sounds like a real truck now.
The 4.7’s are just that raspy they also have a deep tone at idle the 5.7’s are even louder “in my opinion” I think the 4.7’s sound way better
Those 4.7 tundra are the loudest truck straight out the shop sounds like it’s got no cats
It’s just cuz it has a 4.7 the same motors are in the sequoia. My friend has one I’ve rode in and drive a lot with true dual cats and 5” tips and it’s loud afffff
I gotta get this done on my truck
Things louder than my 5.3 and straights true duals with 8 in tips
Love the sound on the Toyota
Sounds good 💯💯💯
It’s just that tundra lifestyle 🤣
I really like how this truck sounds!
I wanna hear all the trucks exhaust pop put em in first and drive it out about 4K Rpms and let off and let em pop it’ll sound so good on all of em
Do a repaint on the Tundra, that would be a badass looking truck
Also what is that red dash lite all about?
She deserves it has another 400k miles in her
Damn!!😳 toyo sounding mean . 👍👍
That rev tho 😧😧😧 st8 mint !
Nice looking Tundra bro! Can you please tell me what lift you have and wheel size? I think that is the perfect height and stance !!
It sounds good need a rev off between Larry and Betty 👏👏
Should do cutouts on it so you can still have it quiet when u want
I watched the video. I have to say that. I'm not a fan of the sound of this setup. The I force motor has it's own sound for sure. You should build an obs 2wd chevy suburban and stack leveling kit with spindles on it
Thing sounds so good oh lord
Happy to say i just got this on my 4.7 dodge dakota! Sounds amazing
I also have a v8 4Runner and I had to do a straight pipe because I would have drop the spare
Do you know the link to the tips? I really like the 5” shorty look and want to put some on my rig
The stance is sweet! What lift and what size rims and tires are you running? Sounda and looks great!
What inch piping do you have
