Happy birthday Khadeejat, many more years and good health to you. Thanks for the video. I want to ask about a post I saw in a group, that midwifery sponsorship ends by December 2023. How true is it?
It’s stated that all funding regarding international recruitment will be stopped by dec 2023. Not only midwifery. And that’s bcs of election in the nhs, I’m sure the recruitment will start again. But some trust are still recruiting at the moment. Keep applying. All the best
Establish professional relationship with her and build a trusting environment. Provide privacy. Ask if she’s safe at home and inform her that you will be acting with her and her baby best interest at heart. Ask how she sustain the bruises and reassure her she and any information she disclose is safe with you. Inform her you will be informing other colleagues who will be able to support her better. Document the discussion in her note and inform the safeguarding midwives (complete referral to safeguarding team)

How do you answer the question that asks what do you do if a pregnant woman comes to the Antenatal visit with bruises all over the body
